For me there is no point in a landing page menu. That’s why I want to hide or remove it. All the magic will be after sign In or sign up.

No, you can control it, and you make choices which pages you want to show for the unlogged users like contact us or any page.

Check your homepage settings by editing it from WordPress pages you chose settings which override the default settings.

OK, I have the logo set to 137×37 at askhuntsville.com. Is there any way to make the logo bigger, or is that as large as it can be in the header?

Yes, I would like to change the badge icon to something other than the bucket.

I tried that css for the nav menu, it didn’t work (https://i.imgur.com/rVB6bOM.png). It still has a black background when the mouse is in the header, but not yet hovering over the menu word. Once the mouse is directly over the menu word, the background color correctly displays as blue.
