Yes. This is how it works. You can then change the content as you need, change the text and pictures, add additional sections or remove unnecessary ones.

You should activate skrollex extension. You have notifications in admin panel about required plugins with links to installation and activation.
I had two issues with Google and one seems to be solved, the other one not:
Clickable elements are too close together: Solved after I increased the Menu font size in additional css the way you showed me.
Content wider than screen: Not solved yet
The background image is scaled to cover the entire section. For this reason, the background image is always either wider than the section or higher than the section, depending on the aspect ratio of the section. It depends on the size of the display. The post from Google is most likely not related to the background image. Test your site on different mobile devices, most likely text content does not fit on small devices. This happens most often with headings when one word is wider than the screen. Also note that headings with an effect are not automatically wrapped. Apply effects only to short headings or break them to multiple lines.

Google is complaining about “Content larger than viewport” and some browsers like Safari are showing the SX Background image (behind the content) bigger than the viewport when the user shrinks the browser window.
Firefox is shrinking the SX Background Image correctly.
But the Google console preview also shows something like the Safari result: The background image is too big then.
This looks ok and nice, since it is only the background, but:
Is it possible the SX Background Image widget is not as responsive as it should be?
I estimate very high that this is why Google is complaining “Content larger than viewport”.
Just upgraded to Skrollex 2.6 Same issue in Safari.
Where Google display this message? May be you mean Google Chrome? Please post link to page and describe in details how to reproduce this message.

How about layers? it’s has been part of elementor now, should we change to the new layers for elementor theme and use this as a child? that would be the correct and safe way? thanks.
I mean, i thought the new version would be standalone without layers, but it seems that’s not the case, so looking for an advice to update an old site.

Skrollex only supports the version of Layers referred to in the documentation. Layers for Elementors is essentially a different product. Skrollex has not been tested with Layers for Elementors. If any problems are found in Layers, they are fixed in the theme code or in the corrected version of Layers.
I installed the fixed version, i also have layers pro and I’m getting this message: “To make the most of Layers 2, it is recommended that you also update Layers Pro to version 2. Click here to read how you can update. All your settings will be retained.”

Skrollex is not tested with Layers Pro. And if you have fixed version of Layers you should have latest version of Skrollex. Please check that all required versions is installed correctly and fixed Layers is installsed exactly in folder ‘layerswp’. If you have several versions of Layers or the folder in which the required version of Layers is installed is called something different, this may cause a problem.
I already have the fixed layers and latest version of skrollex, latest version of wordpress, and fixed Layers is installsed exactly in folder ‘layerswp’. Other previous versions have been removed. what PHP version is required? any other idea of what to check?
We want to rebuild a site made with a previous layers and skrollex, but we are concerned about the situation of layers in the next few years.. this fixed layers is made by you? are you going to maintain it to work properly with the latest releases of Wordpress and security updates? we don’t want to have to switch again to another framework in the next few months, so this rebuild is the moment to choose layers or not. We are willing to renew our skrollex support if it’s needed.
This issue is not related to PHP version. The message says that Layers_Widget is not available. If Layers is installed correctly, then this class should be available. Please make sure you have install the Layers correctly. Try deactivating all plugins as well.
Skrollex is tested with the PHP 7.4 and I haven’t received any reports of any problems with other PHP versions except for debug warnings which can be ignored. If Layers has security or compatibility issues with PHP or WordPress updates, then I will fix them.
I installed it on a brand new wordpress and still encountering some issues. If i renew support what kind of help can I expect?

Please attention, often problem arises if you have a serialization issue. This manual describes which tools should be used to avoid this. I usually use WP-CLI and sites migrate without problems. You can use this utility or others listed in the manual.
Sorry if i didn’t explain myself. I’m not talking about migration, i installed on a new wordpress only the fixed layers and your theme and still encountered features that doesn’t work . That’s why i want to know what to expect out of support.
Your error messages indicate server configuration issues. Most likely, Layers or theme is incorrectly or not fully installed. Server configuration is outside the scope of support. Try the steps I recommended above.
Geez, I’m not talking about the errors above, i’m talking about that i installed it on a brand new wordpress, i’m not gettint those errors, but the thing still doesn’t work, so i’m asking what’s included on the support, not asking about what’s not included. You can uninstall the old version and install the new one through the admin panel. Or overwrite all theme files via FTP.

1) The preloader cannot be changed using the settings. This can only be done with coding. Depending on what you want to change, you may only need custom CSS or javascript and PHP coding.
2) here is screenshot.png in the theme root folder.
3) The license grants you only the right to use the product. Changing information about the author is illegal. This is usually prohibited by local laws in countries where copyright is protected.

Hello again, I still face an issue in Arabic Language font regarding the space between each character on the body text as you can see in this website (https://mary-plus.com/home/?lang=ar) the same was on the menu too, but the menu was fixed when I installed (Groovy menu) plugin. I fond here in the comments someone had the same issue 3 years back and you reply to him by helping to generate a CSS code “I checked your site in Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Now all the elements are displayed. About styles. I investigated the problem. A few Google fonts support Arabic and unfortunately they are not generally supported by Layers. In such a situation, you can change the style of the Arabic text via Customize / Additional CSS. If you are not familiar with CSS, then you can describe in more detail what needs to be changed, I will prompt the code.”

Skrollex 2.6 supports latest Google Arabic fonts. As soon as it passes the verification procedure, you will receive an notification and can download the update.

Guys thank you for the awesome work. It is one of the rare themes that really got me excited and trust me I had a few experience.
But here are some questions for you.
1. I installed it on a fresh installation and according to the guidelines. Still it expected the “layers professional” for some customizations. The product and the post pages can not be customized. (not talking about the colours but the displays etc.)
2. there are some conflictions in the directories of the translations of layerswp and skrollex.
3. I can not find the customization for the extended menu.

1) Layers Pro is not required and is not supported by the theme. This message was inserted by the Layers developers, but the theme has its own advanced settings.
2) Please describe the problem in more detail.
3) Extended menu can be configured like any menu of any theme in Appearance/Menu. You can create several menus and assign one of them as Extended Menu using the checkbox below.
With PHP updates, from time to time, there are messages about deprecation of functions. They can be ignored. Disable the display of such messages in the front-end in the server settings, or disable debug mode in WordPress.
Again I repeat, I really enjoyed the theme and not trying to criticize

But if you have 3, all are side wide and the screen can contain only 2 of them at once, so you have to scroll down.

Translations for textdomain skrollex should be in the folder “languages”. The “includes/lib/tgm/languages” is not related to the front-end. “includes/lib/tgm” is a library that is used in the admin area to display messages about the need to install additional plugins.
The theme has its own functionality for styling through the Color Panel in the front-end (gear icon on the left) and via additional options in the Customizer. Also, note that if you open your blog pages in the Customizer, you will see the blog page widgets in the left pane. Styling your blog with Layers Pro is not supported. It maybe work, but the theme has not been tested with Layers Pro and it is very likely that this extension will conflict with the theme.
If you want to add your own CSS, then add it to Appearance / Customize / Additional CSS
If you have 3 items in an extended menu, then two should be displayed on the first line and one on the second. If not, please post a link to your site.

Hi, I got almost everything working except; when I open my website (on any device, in any browser, or when I forward the link of my website via Messenger of WhatsApp for example) the Tab (literally the Tab name) shows my miniature logo but with the text: CLARA: Page + Site Settings, instead of my page name. In the backend I have changed the name to DIONA FOX and saved these settings but it won’t appear in the Tab. I have made a screenshot in case my question is unclear, let me know if you need it. thank you in advance
This is most likely due to the caching settings on your server. Try clearing the server cache or temporarily disabling it.
Hi hi, been trying to install the Skrollex theme. Having great difficulty, I’ve already successfully installed the Layers theme, but with Skrollex I keep getting the errors: ‘theme is missing the style.css’ AND ‘the link you followed has expired’. I’ve uploaded the theme in FTP, it shows in the file directory but doesn’t show up in my themes (whereas Layers does correctly show as it should), also tried to upload directly to WP. Please help me out!
Most likely, you are installing the wrong file or did not fully unpack the file. Please note that the theme zip file is inside the zip file which you download from ThemeForest. Yes I already found this answer, but what I tried to say is that this doesn’t resolve the problem. It’s never been so difficult to install a new theme and I just can’t get this to work, I’d prefer my money back over getting the same answer everybody is getting to this question but without resolution. Anyone else that had the same problem and was able to fix it, who could help me out here in the comment section?
The theme is installed just like any other theme. Please, check you wordpress folder. You should have the file wp-content/themes/skrollex/style.css if it is not there or the path is different, then the theme was not installed correctly.

Heading is not wrapped if the heading effect is applied. Either disable heading effect on right toolbar or split the heading into two lines.
