lazy loading images is the one responsible for messages not working, well at least on my end. fyi: I use litespeed

No I fixed it, Well not really fixed it but I simply disabled the lazy load feature on litespeed at the moment until you guys find a more compatible solution. Now users can send messages to listings within the website. It was frustrating because I prefer litespeed but I didn’t know what culprit (Lazy load) was causing the issue where the messaging wouldn’t open. Thanks though

Thanks for letting us know. We use lazy load feature from optimole plugin in our demos, seems to work fine if you need an alternative for now

Hi, do you have a guide or recommendation on how to translate the theme. I’m having trouble translating it using Loco Translate.

Install and activate the plugin Loco translate

Go to loco > themes > mylisting > and add a new translation for your language https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners#add
Once the translation is created, press “Sync” button then search and translate phrases you need

Hi There, in content profile tab we need to display a button to link to their instagram profile. How we can pull out the instagram ID from Social networks field? Currently there is only [[links]] // FYI all our listings have instagram IDs.

You have to create a separate field for Instagram, you can’t pull it from the social networks field, as that field outputs all the available networks

I have another two questions.

1. On the main page when i have the items … there is a bookmark and quick view .. also seen on the listings on the page and the image…. attached: https://ibb.co/vsJ2WFG I wish to remove both the quick view and bookmark but i can’t seem to find where to do it, no options or even the code for it.

2. Other thing is when search (the main page search, everything seems to be fine able to search. But when searching on the header top search… it comes to a screen with blank https://ibb.co/QJDbB9c

I’m confused why it would be different results.

I’ll answer these two questions here:

1. Edit listing type > preview card > footer sections > click on the section and uncheck “Bookmark” and “Quick view”

2. Edit your explore page using elementor and make sure you have added he available listing types to it https://docs.mylistingtheme.com/article/creating-the-explore-page/

Hi, thanks a lot for wonderful theme! But i found 1 bug, after claiming listing and signing in throw google or facebook redirect didn’t work. How to fix this issue?

Disable your plugins/customizations and see if any of them are causing the issue. If not, please post a ticket on helpdesk and share admin access.

Hi: I encountered a problem with the mobile-menu of my website. 1. Nothing happens when I click the menu in the mobile view.

2. Set Theme Option>Main Menu Location> No matter it is “left” or “right”, the position on the mobile interface has not changed.

Hi. Been pleasantly surprised with MyListing since getting it this morning, and have followed the documentation but am hitting this problem when I view Live.

Note that I have a page for Explore 2 that isn’t being fed by the Home Page Search bar, the user clicks Search on the menu to be taken to this page.

In Edit with EL, it is fine and I can see the map/listings/filter fields etc, but on LIVE, it seems lost.

I keep getting told that: “There are no listings matching your search.” but this is on the explore page without going through a search screen on the Home Page.

PS the dummy listings have been assigned to Categories as well.

Does it support linking listings? 5. Does it have advertising integrated? We’d like to offer direct ad space as well as display Google Ads. 6. Is there an option to create a mobile app?

+ One more question – regarding subscriptions – I want to charge companies a monthly fee for having a listing. If they don’t pay, I want their listing to be hidden. Is it possible?

There is a store tab as admin can create products, for users you need vendor plugin

Can you please assist me with the following:

1. Can different listing types have their own expiry dates that I can set?

2. Can different listing types have their own listing prices? For example, if you advertise your business’s listing, it has its own price, and if you advertise an event, it has its own price, etc.

3. When adding a listing for the first time (or registering as a new user), will all my events, listings, offers, etc. be listed within my business listing?

4. If so, does the user personally have to link their events, offers, etc. to the main business listing, or is it automatically added under the same user.

5. On the demo, it says, for example, you get 5 listing submissions. Does this mean that the user can post 5 businesses and or spread it out like 2 events, 2 classifieds, 1 car, etc?

6. Not too sure if I can do this but, if someone pays and they get 5 listings, can I as admin set it to be an example, 1 business listing, and 4 classified posts.

7. Do this theme accept Payfast?

8. Are there recurring events?

9. When you search, then the list view appears showing all the listings that you can scroll, can the list view be changed.

10. Can the homepage search bar be moved for example, to a different area on the homepage, for example to the top

4. Manually, as a user can post multiple businesses and multiple events, so no way to know which event should be related to which business

I opened ticket on your helpdesk. My demo install is not working. I have also gave the credentials and its now about an hour. No response from your tech team. There is no issue if you want some time but atleast mention that how early will you solve my problem. Kindly ask your team to give the response. I have recently purchased it and I am facing this serious problem now that demo data is not installing.

I’ve used one of the demos and it is great… the main demo. but i enjoy the look only if i can change the header to transparent to solid color at all times…. is there way to do it, i tried to find the options in header and nothing in there.

demo is not importing even after several attempts. how to fix ?
