Hello, I love this theme but I have an issue with WPML language switcher. I contacted WPML and they said: “Since issue us happening only with this theme, and theme is not officially on our list of compatible themes, some issues may happen.
I suggest you contact theme support, since they will probably know better which code is causing it, and if they need our help they are free to contact us and join our global program.s”
I can`t contact support because my support has ended. The problem is that WPML language switcher on kayo theme does not display correctly. https://prnt.sc/1qvu651 The dropdown is always open and 2nd language is invisible.
Hi Kayo, I wonder why all of the sudden I cannot see what is on my pages at all. Like the site is working online and all is up but when I go to Wordpress there is nothing, and I don’t speak about even page or similar but regular pages. It is really annoying because I want to change things sometimes, it seems like free pages are better than the buying ones, at least I can change text and everything in time. What do you think the problem is? Thank you

Hi, the thing is my support is over and now I am really struggling with thinking should I buy The Page Builder (which I really wanted, that’s why I purchased Kayo theme at the first place) or should I renew the support, and I don’t really trust that I won’t have the same issue in 6 months. My site is working just the Page Builder has some serious issue with this theme because it won’t update as a plugin and every page that I enter through Wordpress won’t show Page Builder at all, that means I am stuck with what ever I put on the pages before. Could you please be very clear on how to deal with Page Builder in relation to your Kayo Theme, I am sure you have valuable info I can use. Thank you.

First, be sure that the PHP version on your server is at least 7.4.
You don’t need to purchase the page builder license unless you want automatic updates. The latest version of the plugin is already included in the current version. https://wolfthemes.ticksy.com/article/12629/ https://wolfthemes.ticksy.com/article/11671/Besides that, as said earlier, I can’t help you without further info.
There is no known issue about this. Agin, be sure that the theme and all your plugins are up-to-date. This bug might come from a 3rd party plugin. Try to deactivate all your plugins and activate them one by one to find out which one is causing this. ( Please note that we don’t provide support for 3rd party plugins. )

Hi – we’re attempting to use the free download link in the track list like on this page of your demo. https://preview.wolfthemes.live/kayo/release/release-8/. In the demo when you click on the download button the file downloads. On our page, the file opens and starts playing in browser. https://kimberleylocke.me/christmas-in-july/ There are not a lot of settings in the track list, so we’re not sure if it’s not functioning as expected or if we’re missing anything. The download link is a simple link to the file so it open the file in your browser. One must use right click > save as to download the file directly.

Hi, I have issues with my site, it seems WPBakery Page Builder is the problem. Do I need to buy additional premium licence for that plugin, wasn’t that included in this theme? Thank you

Hi there,
You don’t have to activate WPBakery Page Builder or Slider revolution and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
You can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration.
Any time the plugin is updated, you will find the latest version of the plugin in the config/plugins folder of the theme.

This demo page – https://preview.wolfthemes.live/kayo/home/full-screen/ is built with WPBakery page builder?
In the notes it says”WPBakery Page Builder is “set as theme”. The frontend editor and grid builder module is not active.” So, does that mean I wont be able to edit the theme with WPBakery?
This demo homepage is made with the Slider Revolution.
WPBakery Page Builder is included in the theme for free. Of course you can use it to edit and build your pages. Only the frontend editor is disabled for technical reasons.

Hi – Our home page is made up of 9 single images that link to other pages or sites when you click on them. https://kimberleylocke.me/ Previously, the image links worked on both desktop and mobile. Recently, the links stopped working on mobile. So we upgraded the theme and the WP Bakery plugin to see if it would resolve the issue.
The update brought the links back to mobile, but the 9 images on the homepage all stacked on top of each other as though there was only one image. I was able to isolate the issue to the Wolf WPBakery Page Builder Extension and did not update it. But that means the links still aren’t working on mobile, but if we do the update then there is the stacking issue. If you go to the site on mobile, you should see the link issue. On occasion, a link will work on an initial load, but if you reload the homepage they won’t work. I can send you a photo of the stacking issue if useful, as with not updating the plug-in you won’t be able to see the issue.
In WPBakery Page Builder/General Settings – we’ve tried toggling on and off the Disable responsive content elements check box (Disable content elements from “stacking” one on top other on small media screens (Example: mobile devices) but it made no difference. Is there some setting we’re missing or is this an issue with the Wolf WPBakery Page Builder Extension plug-in? Thanks!

A fix have been made for the single image element link on mobile. The current theme version is 1.2.6 and the current page builder extension plugin version is 3.4.2 https://preview.wolfthemes.live/kayo/landing/It should work fine with these last versions. After the update, be sure to flush your cache if you use a cache plugin and hard refresh you browser.

We can’t submit a ticket as our support is expired. The issue happens when we update the WPBakery Page Builder Extension plug-in, so wanted to see if it was a potential known issue. If you can double check, we’ll wait to see if you find anything. I see from your landing page, your single image elements are not stacking on top of each other on mobile.

WPBakery Page Builder Extension v3.2.9
In v 3.2.9 of the WPBakery Page Builder Extension the hyperlinks on our single image elements are not working. On occasion they will work, but if you refresh or return to the home page they won’t work.
When we upgrade WPBakery Page Builder Extension to v 3.4.2 the single images on the homepage all stack on top of one another. I can send a screen shot if helpful as the site is back on v 3.2.9, so you won’t be able to see what the v 3.4.2 update does to the live site. But basically instead of seeing 9 images (like you do in v 3.2.9 where the links aren’t working) you see one image with small pieces of others sticking out the top.
I rebuilt the page while upgraded to v3.4.2 to see if that made any difference and got the same issue.
Your single images have a margin, we have the margin set to 0 px. The only other element that is anyway custom is an extra class name that controls the line height when the overlaid text falls onto two lines. But we’ve had no issues with that in any previous updated.

Hi – we ran both updates – for the Page Builder extension and the content blocks and no change – the images still stack on top of each other on mobile. I’ve rolled back the updated, but before I did, I built a new page of single image blocks testing after each customization to see if I could identify where the issue starts.
The first few settings I changed there were no issues on mobile.
Image size: Square Hover effect: Opacity
The issue seems to be somewhere between “On click action/open custom link” and “Add overlay” – if you only have of those active/in use the blocks work on mobile, but if both are on at the same time (overlay and a link to an internal or external page), that’s when the issue occurs. Hopefully that will help you replicate it on your end.

Simply create a child theme and copy-paste the single-release.php file in a discography folder and then add the following function below the get_template_part line
