Change the width, add a third new column for the banner.
OK, but you have to have the option there to deactivate the wide mode and banner in Electro
If the client installed this template now, it would not be a problem.

Thank you for updating the theme and for reaching us. To say 3.0 is a new template is wrong. The home pages are the same. Electro wide mode simply sets the maximum width as 1480px which is now standard.

We are not here to convince you. You can simply check the code for home v2 file in 2.x and 3.x. Like I’ve explained, we’ve added container width for 1480px. If you view the website in screen lesser than 1480 you’ll find the exact same.

I updated from Electro 2.6 to 3 and I see now that there is a “MAS Brands for WooCommerce” plugin available. As of today, I use the attribute “brands” to set the products’ attributes. If I enable this new plugin, will I loose the brands of my products in Electro 3? What’s different about how it handles brands?

1. WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Brand Attribute 2. Electro > Shop > Brand Attribute.

We’ve stated in our earlier release that Electro wide mode would be deprecated. Bootstrap 5 introduced new devices and hence we provided a fall back via Electro wide mode. Electro wide mode is no longer required because xxl screen size is now available by default. We did not change in each update.

We’ve introduced MAS Static Content in 2.7.x. To resolve migrate your static blocks to MAS Static Content issue:
1. Please update the theme to its latest version.
2. Install and activate MAS Static Content plugin from Appearance > Install Plugins.
3. On activation there will be a prompt to migrate. Click on the “Migrate” button.
4. On completion of migration, you should be able to use the static contents normally like before.

Because I didn’t know the above procedure before, I installed and activated the plugin through the “Plugins > New plugin” menu. I didn’t see a “Migrate” button, or I missed it.
Now, in order to carry out your instructions, I uninstalled the MAS Static Content plugin and installed it again through “Appearance > Install Plugins” but still I do not see a “Migrate” button.
How can I solve this migration problem?

For anyone having the same problem, I finally managed to solve it by updating all other plugins from the menu “Appearance > Install Plugins”. Updating the theme to Electro v3 isn’t enough, you must update all depended plugins from the menu “Appearance > Install Plugins” in order for the theme to work as expected.

2. Semi-Automatically: Sometimes, (1) does not work. You should install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/ , download the latest installable WP theme zip file from your Themeforest downloads page and then upload it via Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and upload the zip file. The “easy upgrades” plugin will backup the old Theme and install the new one.
3. Manually: You should download the latest installable WP theme from your ThemeForest downloads page, rename your current theme folder in wp-content/themes folder, unzip the downloaded WP theme from your Themeforest downloads page and upload it to wp-content/themes folder.
Please note that updating a theme will override any custom changes that you make to the parent theme. Hence we recommend using a child theme. A child theme is not meant to be updated and should contain only your custom changes. Also, we strongly advise that you backup your website and database before updating. It allows you to roll back the update if anything goes wrong after update.

The feature you are requesting is called “Vendor Management” where different companies called vendors setup accounts and sell their products on your site.
Electro is a WooCommerce theme and it supports all the features of WooCommerce. However “Vendor Management” is not a feature of WooCommerce. There are plugins like Dokan, WC Vendors, etc that allow you to extend WooCommerce into a vendor management system.
The theme is compatible with Dokan, WCFM, WC Vendors and MultiVendor Marketplace by Webkul. We provide basic compatibility support for these vendor plugins. However we do not provide support for its features or non-availability of features.
Payment gateways work independent of the theme. Our themes also don’t have any code that would change payment gateway’s work. We have only added styles that is how they look and not functionality that is how they work. WooCommerce has varied options for Payment gateways. I have very bad issues when update WordPress to 5.6 or 5.7 Versions. Knowing that I have updated theme to 3.0.0 version and Electro Extensions Plugin to 3.0.0 and wpbakery to 6.6.0 and php to 7.4 and everything I can update to the latest version and my problem is not solved. only in WordPress 5.4 there is no problem with that.
