I’m having a problem with the BRA Icon Boxes Container. You only put coding for 3 of the icons in the shortcodes.txt but your site has 4. When I try adding the fourth icon box with the additional photo they are not aligned on the site and there are additional empty rectangular boxes around the added box. I’ve used the same code with the same spacing throughout, simply replacing the caption and .png address. Any help would be appreciated.

Apologies on this—I ended up finding the error and fixing it. I now have a question regarding the usage of the bra_center_title coding. How do you change the color of the subtitle from its current light gray coloring? Many thanks!

for each post you can have one featured image and as many images as you want in the content.
Slider is always on the top of the page. Other elements are shortcodes, so you can manage them as you want.

Hi – I want to add some portfolio items to my site but when I press the shortcode link, the box that comes up is empty. I tried inserting the shortcode, but it didn’t work. Am I missing something?

it looks you haven’t inserted right ID of main portfolio category. In help folder is PDF with all shortcodes and in the help file is instruction how to get cat)id value.
ps: this issue with portfolio shortcode ocurres on some servers. I’m finishing update with new shortcode engine, so it will work on all servers…

If 960 pics is the width for the full screen pictures, what is the picture width in portfolio (1 & 2/3 paragraph setting).

You don’t have to worry about that because this layout is responsive and images adjust to it’s container.
If you insist of finding the best dimensions for your portfolio, use some of Firefox plugins, or just right click – view image info.

I’ve got a couple of questions about things I can’t get solved by myself and wonder if you could help me.

2. All featured pictures seem to appear in full size, even if I set them to thumbnail (same blog post).
3. The site color is set to blue, but the color square that lies on the menu showing which page is being visited only appear when the mouse is on it, and it shows a black square.
4. I am not able to use the lists. I paste the shortcode, but things never appear listed with the markers. Example in page http://rainbug.com.br/relatos/ Shortcode

6. The font in your example site seems to be a little thinner than the one in mine. Are they different? How could I implement yours?

2) yes, full size is used. You should crop your image before uploading to server.
3) Not sure if i understand. Only current menu item is using the selected color. (you must use WP Menu)
4) You have to insert LIST not paragraphs inside the bra list shortcode
5) Try to delete all spaces / line breaks between icon boxes shortcodes. You ahev to do it in HTML (not Visual) Editor.
6) I think it’s an optical illusion. (I’m using white background). From the source I can see you’re using exactly the same font as I do on live preview)

Hello, I really love this template, however before I buy it I need to clear some doubts.
1) Is it possible to feature the latest posts from the blog on the home page the same way the recent work is featured? (But keeping the recent work)
2) In the live preview I see that all the posts have only one panoramic picture. Is it possible to display multiple images and in a 3:4 format?

2) http://demo.brankic.net/bigbangwp/blog-1/ You can see the slider for 3rd post. If there is slider defined for the post, it will be shown there. If there is no slider, featured image is shown. If there is video, video will be shown. For blog styles 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 image is wide as the content. So if you are using “vertical” image, it won’t display fine (there is no auto cropping). Blog style 3 is the only style which crops the featured image to square format.

Just bought the theme and setting up some menus. Wondering if there is an easy way to disable a menu item? Just making it non-klickable. Some themes uses # in titel attributes to disable the menu item. Or do I have to use Custom links?

Yes, just select page template (Blog X) and choose blog category in Brankic Custom Fields (below the editor). This should work (I’ve just tried)
Unfortunately that seems to conflict with the grid I have there also.
If I remove the grid shortcode it works fine.

Hi, The site looks great and I really like how it feels, but I guess I am still a bit disappointed. I just wish the back end was developed with custom fields instead of having a thousand short codes. I just think it’s bad practice and that things can get real messy real quick for someone who isn’t used to them. It kind of fails the purpose of having a CMS , no? Am I missing something? Home page is a “normal” page. You can set any page you see on Live preview as home page (Settings -> Reading).
Also, you can use Latest posts as front page (you can choose default style of blog page in Brankic Panel)
We had 2 or 3 same questions, but our answer is no. There is also a title where you can click and we think it’s enough.

Excellent theme, but I seem to be having a few problems with the gallery page on the site I’m building (http://www.gianakossafos.com/gallery/). The magnifying glass icon for each entry leads to the file path of the image itself instead of a pop-out screen, and the subcategory links at the top don’t filter the entries when clicked. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!

Just wondering if you could help. I know that when the site gets to a smaller browser size, or viewed on a smartphone it renders differently – I was wondering if there was any way you could stop it? Just because I’ve got images with text and so I don’t want them to reduce. I just want the whole page to sit on the width of a smartphone browser.
