Pre sales – are you able to upload very short videos (15-20second) to portfolio pages?

There are three types of portfolios in our Bifrost theme: Side Portfolio, Vertical Portfolio, and the Elementor Portfolio, unfortunately on the Side and Vertical Portfolios you can’t add a video to the gallery, but if you create a portfolio with Elementor you can edit it fully with Elementor and add there any element you want for example image, video, gallery, text, etc…

Sorry, I’m not sure I understand fully. I want to use the Side Portfolio. V7 design for most of my project pages. A few need to display 15 second video content. Are you saying that if I want to add video I cannot use this template/design and I will have to buildnew Elementor pages from scratch for these pages?

Please go to Appearance > Customize > Style and change the main colors of the theme, but they won’t change the colors of pages/items that are made via the Elementor, so you need to change them directly on Elementor.

Sometimes whilst viewing the demo pages all images simply do not load and you have to refresh the page. Do you know why this is?

Pre sales question
1) On ‘portfolio metro’ you hover over a project, the whole image disappears and is replaced with the project title and category. Can this be altered? For example, on hover, can you keep the images visible and have a transparent overlay to allow the project title to be read easily?
2) On ‘portfolio metro’ – do the images need to be square or can the shapes vary?
3) And finally is there an option to have no footer visible at all?

1) Yes, you can change that, you have the option to set the color on hover, or you can remove it all.
2) On the metro layout you can select the columns of a post, if you set the post to cover 12 columns it will be shown as one post per column, if you set it to 6 columns it will be displayed as 1/2 of the column and so on and so forth, so if you want to have 3 posts in a row with fixed height, you can set the columns to 4 for each post.
3) There are several ways to do it, so you can create a blank footer template via Elementor, and then go to Appearance > Customize > Footer and select that footer template for the entire site, or we can remove it via some CSS code which can be added at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

Hi, I bought a Bifrost license november 2019, trying to update via Envato Market in WP now, it installs Biforst 2.2.0 (is this the most recent version?) and I reinstalled the plugin Neuron Core but it gives me version 2.0.1 (I know this is not the latest version). Just leaving this here fyi: bifrost/woocommerce/cart/mini-cart.php version 3.7.0 is out of date. The core version is 5.2.0, bifrost/woocommerce/taxonomy-product_cat.php version 1.6.4 is out of date. Thank you for updating the theme recently but unfortunately, there is an error happening when I am editing my portfolio items the Settings panel appears twice and will not allow you to make changes – for example, the Portfolio Tab Item.

I’ve received an email from you, and I’ve logged into your website.
I saw that you we’re using an older version of the Neuon Core plugin, so I’ve updated it to the latest version, and now everything is alright.
So now please, everytime that you update the Bifrost theme, please delete the Neuron Core plugin, and install a fresh copy of it by going to Appearance > Install Plugins, this is how the plugin will get updated.

The Neuron core plugin that ships with the update is at version 2.1.6 – I’ve updated the theme, back to 2.1.6 and old issues.
Custom headers and footers created in elementor pro theme builder and selected under the theme customizer don’t show.

I would suggest you three things about how to increase the speed of your website.
1) Compress images to lower resolutions and smaller image sizes.
2) Use a cacher(we use w3 total cacher). https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/- Right after install go to general settings and enable page cache.
3) Install autoptimize to combine all CSS files in one file and all JS files in one file, just like we do in our demo.

Thank you, the bad testing-results I posted above are your website demo. You added all this but still bad results “F!” Without these plugins you told me the results are even worse. Eliminate render-blocking resources should take place to get fast loading websites. Can you change this in your Theme!

In the theme you can either use the header that comes as default where you can upload the logo from Customizer and manage it from there or via Elementor where you can create headers and assign them to different pages, so please hover onto button Edit with Elementor and see if there appears a header template.

Hi, First thanks for a great theme. I have question on the hamburger state of the Nav Menu. On a black background the three hamburger stripes remain greyish, and hardly visible. How can I make it 100% white? You have the separate Hamburger, which can be made 100% white.
