I’m trying to figure out if I should contact you, WPML, or unfortunately replace Zeen with a different theme if this is an incompatibility issue.
I installed WPML (multilingual version) and started working on a Spanish version of my website. However, while Zeen Options is available inside my posts in Spanish, my selections won’t load after updating/saving the post. I tried to select a new page layout and a new sidebar in Spanish, and it only loads whatever was chosen for the original language post.
I deactivated all plugins except for Zeen engine and WPML (because I wouldn’t be able to see posts in Spanish without it). I tried in 4 browsers, cleaned the cache… Is this something that happens with WPML Multilingual but wouldn’t happen if I upgrade to WPML Multilingual CMS version?

Zeen is definitely compatible with WPML – I’ve seen lots of users using Zeen and WPML together with no issues too so they are running together out on the wild on real sites too. The best thing to do would be to contact WPML and ask for them to investigate the cause. They might be able to help identify what the issue may be – if they can’t, open a Codetipi ticket and Chris can then also look into it for you

Hello codetipi, infinite post load in your theme is so nice and super fast! Can you figure out how to do the same thing with WooCommerce product pages? Also, when using a comment plugin, the next loaded post shows the original WP comments and not the comment plugin system (for example wpDiscuz). Thank you.
Noticed that although the URL is updated in the browser when a new post is loaded, Analytics does not show the user on the newly loaded page. Instead, no matter how many posts you scroll to load, it still shows the user on the original page they clicked on. While logged in as Admin, scrolling infinitely, after loading another post and clicking edit, the post being edited is the original post before loading new posts and not the newly loaded post.
It seems this would cause a decreased bounce rate for a post and make Analytics type trackers think the user is staying on the original post longer than they are? If so, without reloading the tracking scripts, it could mess up the data, such as exit page. You won’t know which post the user finally decided to exit the site on. They could read through every post on the entire site, but it will just look like they stayed on the original post for a long time then left.
Is the reason for this also why comments plugins aren’t loading on infinitely loaded posts?

Happy you like Zeen’s infinite post load – it’s definitely the fastest infinite post load on all of Themeforest (possibly any theme in the world!)
But I’m not 100% sure it will be possible on WooCommerce due to how WooCommerce’s cart works. Will be looked at though.
Re the comments – I’m not 100% but I think wpDiscuz works with JavaScript which runs after your page loads. It might be replacing/changing it all at that point. In Infinite Post load, the javascript of third party plugins doesn’t re-run again so might be why this is happening. Ask the wpDisquz how the plugin works and if it is like this, ask what JavaScript file you can refire to make it apply to “dynamically added comment forms”. You can then check the Zeen documentation which outlines how to refire specific JavaScript plugin files.
Re Analytics – the theme fires a new analytics call after each infinite post is loaded too. I’m not 100% sure it applies to admin users though as it might ignore logged in users.

Sometimes after posting stuff like this, I feel like I shouldn’t take time away from your development schedule. But then after you reply, I’m so glad I asked! Will look into all that you mentioned. You’re right, it’s the fastest infinite load. And it would be really nice to have this with WC if you can figure it out. Thanks as always for the thoughtful and detailed response.
wpDiscuz info related to their comment module only loading on the first post, but not on subsequent infinite post loads:
First of all please make sure other articles are loading the <?php comments_template() ?>. Then please make sure the post object exists when the ajax is loaded.
Some themes don’t use <?php comments_template() ?> WordPress template function, thus wpDiscuz can’t be loaded. You should contact to your active theme developers and ask them add this function in template files. More information here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/comments_template

I have Infinite Scroll for posts on my page and unfortunately only the first post have WPDiscuz comments displayed and the rest of posts load the original Wordpress commentsI’m sorry, but we can’t support this feature unless this is the wpDiscuz Lazy Load pagination. wpDiscuz has no chance to support 3rd party AJAX loading functions. This should be done from the infinity loader software you use. If that’s the current active theme function you should contact to the theme developers for support.

Ah that is a really bad response by them 
The theme does indeed use comments_template() which is obvious by the fact it works well on the first post load.
They mention their wpDiscuz Lazy Load pagination – so it sounds like they might have code to re-fire their scripts to make it appear again when the content is added dynamically via ajax (which is what happens during infinite post load).
Please respond to them and just say the above + that you do have access to each post id whenever a new infinite post loads.

Zeen has on average received at least one update every single month since it was released. That’s a huge amount of updates. But when it comes to major updates (v2, v3, v4) these take longer as they aren’t simple or just “marketing” (like other themes do). Zeen major updates are real and genuine milestones
Zeen v4 has been in full development since December, and it’s already practically finished, it just needs some final touches finished before it can be launched.

I have installed the last version of wordpress (WordPress 5.7) I have a blank white page appearing when I click on any link of the website.

I was active AMP on my site by using official amp plugin, but:
1. Subtitles didn’t show on AMP version; for example view these pages: original: https://memari.online/16462/how-trump-made-architecture-and-cities-worse/ amp: https://memari.online/16462/how-trump-made-architecture-and-cities-worse/amp/
2. Custom font didn’t use for AMP version (look to difference of previous links).
3. AMP version of gallery post didn’t show the carousel of gallery and just show featured image. As you know AMP support carousel galleries and you can force theme to show featured gallery in carousel mode.

As I search, AMP standards (https://amp.dev/) are mature now and have various solutions like carousel galleries, web stories and etc; So I think it is the time to update theme to compatible with latest version of amp plugin and latest standards and features of AMP like web stories and etc.

How to change sidebar widget title colour? When I change sidebar colour to light the title colour is white so it becomes invisible.
I managed to change it using this .sidebar-widget .widget-title { color: #181818!important; }
Maybe you should add the option to change colour for widget title too

Hi there – I now need a scrolling banner ad function in the Tipi Builder as I’m starting to ad banner ads to the site and I need them to rotate randomly across and/or down (e.g. sidebar and middle of the page).
Did I read somewhere this feature is coming in Zeen v.4???

The new scrolling block coming in Zeen v4 is for normal text, it can’t be used for ads I’m afraid. I’m not certain that ad services like AdSense even allow for that in their terms of use – so make sure to check up on that before attempting something like that.

HelIo, My client has bought you theme but there is a big issue with the theme, the tipi builder does not function properly and will not load.
When I click to open any section in the tipi builder the window freeze to a white frame.
I have tried to disabled all plugins but the problem persists. Zeen Version: 3.8.1 WordPress version: 5.7 PHP Version: 7.3.27
I could not contact support even though the theme does not function. Please help me solve this as soon as possible so I can work with the theme.

I have also tested it on wordpress 5.6 and the Tipi Builder still crashes every time opened.

I’m sorry to hear your client had issues, but I can confirm that the theme and Tipi Builder are working completely fine in all modern WordPress versions, including 5.7, so it is definitely an isolated issue on your site.

Yes, it is very unfortunate. And I can see that it has been taken up in the documentation so it does not seem to be an isolated case at all.
Since it is a recurring issue with the theme, it is strange that we have to buy the theme for a second time around to receive support and get it to work.
When I tried to get support, the support and extension limit has expired since they bought the theme before but didn’t launch the project until now.
I hope future client take into consideration that you have to buy the theme again for getting help even when there is a big problem with the function of the theme and major aspects such as the page builder.

You do not need to purchase the theme again to get support and there is definitely no problems with the theme or the builder. If there were, you’d see it flooded in the comments here, as there are thousands of active Zeen sites running in the wild, including huge publications using Zeen.
The account you are using has not purchased Zeen which is why I mentioned that your client should login to their Themeforest account ( the one that purchased the theme) and open a support ticket in the official Codetipi support system. He/she will receive help and I’m sure whatever the issue is will be figured out
The documentation simply outlines possible issues that would break modern WordPress apps (Such as the builder), which includes disabling the WP REST API. Some plugins can disable that API, but that is bad practise and would make certain apps break.

I am currently thinking about buying Zeen, but there are a few open questions which I hope you can answer.
1. Is there an overview of the blocks that are currently available in Tipi Builder? For example, I would be interested in things like before/after sliders and image hotspots similar to ultimate addons for elementor.
2. In the demos I have seen some alignwide-style images but no alignfull-style images. Are they supported as well? Or asked the other way round: How far are Gutenberg alignments supported?
3. Is there schema-support for FAQ and How-Tos?

Thanks for the interest in Zeen
1- There isn’t a full list anywhere, but currently there are around 70 blocks. Blocks are added all the time too, for instance in the upcoming Zeen v4 there is a stylish new YouTube playlist player, collapsable/foldable text, scrolling banner, among others. Most new blocks are user suggestions, so if something is missing you are free to suggest it and if it’s one that benefits a decent percentage of Zeen users, then it will likely get added
Currently there is no image hotspot block, but after seeing how Elementor does it, well, let’s just say I’m sure Tipi Builder can 100% do a much, much easier/cleaner block to achieve that. I’ve added it to the dev log so it will be considered for another future theme update.
Same with a before/after image slider, this one in particular is quite an easy block to make – I think this one could be added fairly soon.
2- The theme is indeed fully optimized for Gutenberg so you are able to use all the Gutenberg alignments. Here is an example of an image set to align full: https://demos.codetipi.com/zeen/artistic/oxford-shirts-and-shoes/
3- There isn’t any FAQ schema in the theme, as popular plugins like Yoast have a FAQ block with that schema already, however, as the new Tipi Builder Collapsable block is ideal for FAQs, if users ask for a FAQ schema option to go with it, I think that could be looked at too.
