This is the basic requirement for running Avada. However, I would really suggest that you also check for a host that offers PHP 7x. This is not just a requirement by Avada but by WordPress too. This will help your site be more fast and secure too

We official require PHP v7.3 I’m afraid. While you could try running on older versions and perhaps it might work – that is an outdated PHP version both by Avada and WordPress core standard so we cannot really comment on that.

Hi, can I buy multiple Avada licenses under the same themeforest account? I have 25+ websites. I do not want to set up different email addresses for each website as that is just not feasible from a maintenance perspective. Thanks

Definitely, you can buy as many licenses as you want with your single ThemeForest account and they will all have their unique purchase code which you can use to register your sites, there is no issue in doing that at all

Thank you, I’ve 2 more questions.
(1) Will there be a way within the Envato account to determine which purchase code is for which domain, or do we have to manage that offline on an Excel document?
(2) We host our sites with WPEngine. Avada have a partnership with WPEngine and as you know, WPEngine provide 2 environments for each site (DEV, STAGE and PROD). However, Avada say that the purchase code will only work for a staging and live site. Therefore, does that mean we cannot use the development environment with WPEngine, as the purchase code will not allow that? That seems a bit ridiculous. If so, then I think you need to reconsider this.

1) You can manage this in your Avada support account. Once you do add your purchase code, the domain with the respective purchase code will get updated in your support account, Screenshot here → https://prnt.sc/13uh5xw (you can hit the refresh button to update this). This can be seen at https://theme-fusion.com/support/account/ in the registration tab, Screenshot here → https://prnt.sc/13uh88z. This will allow you have a note of which purchase code is use in which domain. In case of multiple licenses, if you do not have any domain registered against that license, you will simply see the domain area as empty and this will allow you to see unused licenses
2) Currently this will work on a single staging site. Having 2 test site for a single site is something that is limited based on the current licensing terms. However, if you can always update the site via FTP

I thought it’s normal to have a DEV, STAGE and PROD environment for your site. If we have a single license for 2 of the 3 environments, then are you saying that we cannot use the Development environment? Does this not defeat the purpose of having a partnership with WPEngine in the first place, if you’re not accommodating 3 environments?

Hi, I have taken over a website for a client that was built by another developer. I need to register the website since upgrading to 7.3. I am unable to contact the previous developer to get a purchase code and notice that it says ‘you must be signed into the same ThemeForest account that purchased Avada’. Can i just purchase a new copy of the Avada theme or how can i ensure I register the site correctly. thanks

When editing Avada LIve on the home page i get “Server Error 500” PLEASE NOTE this happen only on the Home page, if editing other page with Avada Live all work perfectly.
