Hi, website FitnessZoneVersie: 3.8 is giving errors after I update to 5.0. I also noticed the page builder is gone. Is it possible to update from 3.8 to 5.0 or will this break the website because I am missing a version? I also see a map fitnesszone-old. Anything I have to do with this or can I remove this?

We have two version Old & New – https://prnt.sc/utv8y3 So if you want to move our new version, you need to rebuild your site again because in our new version we used “WPBakery Visual Composer” page builder and in our old version, we used our inbuilt page builder.
So if you are using our old version, please update to version – 3.8
Note : We generally do not provide support for older version of the theme (version 3.8) and instead suggest that updating to the latest version of fitness will be best practice

2) For site slow, most of it depends on the page content which compromises images. If images are properly optimized and you’re using a cache plugin and a good fast host, the speed issue shouldn’t happen on any theme.

Just updated my site to latest version of wordpress, updated the theme via adding new theme under appearance. Wordpress replaced the existing theme. I then updated the “DesignThemes Core Features Plugin”. I now have short code all over the website like this [dt_sc_fullwidth_section]. My menu is in the wrong place, my icon for browser tabs is missing, my Logo is replaced by the default, the colours are back to the standard theme. It also appears as if I have 2 versions of the the site under my host file manager.

in 2017 i installed version 2.8. Now a few years later i want to update WP and fitness zone. Is there any possibility to update without loosing content and settings? I do not want Visual Composer because i would have to recreate all content. I tried with fitnesszone-old.zip (v.3.8) and WP v5.7.2 | Unyson 2.7.24. After uploading fitnesszone-old and designthemes-core-features v.2.5 i get a 502 error. I tried a brand new installation of WP 5.7.2 with fitnesszone-old but there are many jquery errors in WP Backend. You can not use any settings toggle (yes/no) or Button like “Update page contents for latest page builder” (Update Content Button)
Is fitnesszone-old v.3.8 compatible with WP 5.7.2? Do you have any solution update to a working version?

Hi, Version 3.8 works but not with WP 5.7.2. After updating to 5.7.2 you have jquery errors, backend is very slow and frontend is not available. (Error 503) Up to which Wordpress version is Theme Version 3.8 compatible?
Ok, theme version 3.8 works up to WP version 5.4.6 (last version before jquery migrate). The problem in frontend was due to the yoast seo plugin, which is not compatible in the current version. Now everything is fine, except for the fact that version 3.8 is not compatible with the current WordPress version.

Hello, We have FitnessZone 3.8 (and DesignThemes Core Features Plugin 2.5) and are having issues with updating certain settings through the Appearance -> FitnessZone options Buddha Panel Screen. Clicking “Upload” for a logo or changing items such as the header or skin do not do anything (though all this can be done through the Theme Editor successfully. Is this something that can be fixed? We are happy to renew support if so. Thanks.

We do not update the older version of our fitnesss zone theme. We do advice all our theme users to switch over to the newer visual composer version for latest wordpress and security updates. Let us know.

How to get icons in the footer headings? The demo has ‘Simple Heading’ with Extra class name ‘heading-with-icon house’ and ‘heading-with-icon clock’ but there is no custom css. What’s the css that belongs to these extra classes?

Hello, we updated our site from 3.8 (which had broken) to 4.6 and have had multiple issues. We resolved most of them, but are unable to get the header looking right at all. We see no options for placing the login/logout buttons or the social icons or others in that section. Should all code go in the ‘hook’ section? And is there default ‘hook’ code that we can modify?
