hi, i need to update my theme, how can i download the last version?
We recommend using the Envato Market plugin. After you setup that plugin, if there is a new update available you will see a notification with the link to update the theme under Appearance -> Themes.
Also, if you’d like to update it manually you will need to download the new update under the Downloads tab on ThemeForest. Then upload the theme zip file under Appearance -> Themes -> Add New.
You can find the instructions on how to update the theme in the documentation: https://wydethemes.com/flora/documentation/#update

My apologies for the late reply!
However, everything seems to be working fine on our demo site that is also using the latest update.
It might be a caching issue, please ensure that you have purged all caches after updating.
If it still doesn’t work, try to deactivate your caching plugin to see if it works.
Also, if you’re using a CDN to cache your web resources. You will need to clear the caches on your CDN too.
i tried out with no cache and no plugins activated, still no display of the specific elements.
My apologies! After inspecting this, there is an issue with the slider in Testimonials slider that requires JavaScript library from the Slider Revolution plugin. That is why it doesn’t work on your site but is still working on ours.
Thank you for reporting this issue, it has been fixed in the next update that will be released in a few hours!
i made the update but the issue remains
Your site is still using the Flora theme 1.7.3. Try checking the Flora theme version under Appearance -> Themes. If it actually is 1.7.3.1. You will need to clear your server caches because it is still loading the old version on the frontend.
Hello, I have updated Flora to the latest version and the website is not loading. Error message as follow: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function flora_get_social_icons() in xxxxl/wp-content/themes/flora/admin/class-flora-theme-options.php:1903
It sounds like that the updating did not complete successfully. Try to reinstall the theme update to see if it works.
Also, if you’ve edited any PHP file in the theme directly. Please move your changes to the child theme instead. All files in the theme folder must be updated to the new version to make it work correctly.
Hi,
I’m trying to have a best SEO for my blog and i just realized that with your theme, the single post template does’nt have an H1 title but H2 and that is a big problem for SEO. Please can you tell me how and where can I change It and put H1 tag instead of H2 for every blog post title ? I think it is a really serious problem you should improve for later.
Thanks a lot for you help
The H1 title is already included in the page title area, you have to display the page title under Flora Options -> Title Area on the post edit screen, change the “Display Title Area” option to “Show” so your blog post title will be H1 instead of H2.
Perfect, it works ! Thanks a lot ! Juste 2 last questions :
1/ With my Chrome extension for SEO “Web Developer”, when i want to check all the Hn tags, it displays ” < h1 >(Missing heading) < h2 >(Missing heading) < h3 >(Missing heading) < h4 >Minify cache ” And just under, all the Hn tags again with the reel content of the Hn (not empty this time). Do you know why is there first for Hn tags with “Missing heading” mentions ? Is there a bug somewhere ? A empty h1 / h2 / h3… tags somewhere, or something like that ?
2/ I just want to change the appearence of my H1 title in the single blog post ( I don’t want capital letters at the start of each word) So I tryed to add additionnal CSS with the code bellow, but nothing happened :
/* For blog single post */ .post-detail h1 { text-transform: lowercase !important; }
May be I did something wrong ? Do you know a better way ?
Thanks a lot for your help. I love this theme I bought so long time ago ! For me It still looks great, even 6 years after !
Kind regards,
My apologies for the late reply!
1 – I’m sorry but I’ve never tried that extension before so I have no idea why it couldn’t find any heading tags on your site.
However, the H1 is only available in the page title area. If you’d like to include H1 on the page, you have to show the page title area.
Also, you can manually add H1 and other headings (h2, h3…) by using the Custom Heading element. With that element, you can choose the “Element tag” to use as the heading.
2 – Here are the CSS snippets to disable the uppercase in the single post titles:
.post-detail .post-title {
text-transform: none;
}
However, when you show the page title area on the single post, the post title will be inside the title area, then here’s the snippet to adjust it:
.single-post .title-wrapper .title {
text-transform: none;
}
I am running the Flora theme for my office website and there seems to be an issue with the Portfolio function and the “Media Options” and the “Gallery Options” are no longer present.
Thank you for reporting this issue. It has been fixed in the latest update of the theme that was released a few hours ago.
Everything is working perfectly now – thank you so much!
Glad to hear it has been solved!
Hi I recently updated my Flora theme on my wordpress site. And now all my portfolio pages are not working properly. They give a 404 page not found message – you can see here http://www.smdempseycomics.com/portfolio-item/arrow/ – and even when working on the page on the backend the page preview also show’s a 404 error message. I haven’t updated anything on the site other than the theme and plugins and didn’t even notice until I went to one of the pages today. How do I fix this so my pages work properly again?
This seems to be a permalink caching issue. Try visiting the Settings -> Permalinks, then click on “Save changes” to see if it works. This will refresh your WordPress permalink setting caches.
Hello,
in the portfolio the category “Flora options” does not work anymore. There I usually enter the customer name, a domain and other images for a gallery.
I have already deactivated all third-party plugins, but unfortunately that does not fix the error.
See here a screenshot, I can’t expand the box: https://prnt.sc/12gsnrrThank you in advance for your effort.
Many greetings, Tamara
Try to update the theme and Wyde Core plugin to the latest update to see if it works. Please check out the changelog here: https://themeforest.net/item/flora-responsive-creative-wordpress-theme/12038776#item-description__update-log
Thanks, the theme was already updated but the plugin still had an old version! Thanks for the quick and easy help!
I still have a small problem. Where did the field move to, where I can specify the gallery images per portfolio entry? I just can not find it ?
All fields and options are still there, in the same position. You can add the gallery images under the Portfolio -> Gallery Options in the Flora Options box.
However, if those fields don’t show up, it might be a browser caching issue. Try to press Ctrl + F5 (Command + R on Mac) to clear your browser caches to see if it works.
hi,
there is the option gallery no longer, tested in several browsers and also cash emptied, see here: https://prnt.sc/12kl8zr
Hej, the problem still exists….Can you help me?
My apologies, there seems to be an issue with the portfolio options in the recent update. We’re working on it and will release the new update ASAP!
Hello Wyde! Can you tell me why I am having the following errors when accessing the theme options?
Redux Framework Warning select2-css CDN unavailable. Some controls may not render properly. Please wait a few minutes, then try refreshing the page. Unable to load some remotely hosted scripts..
Redux Framework Warning select2-js CDN unavailable. Some controls may not render properly. Please wait a few minutes, then try refreshing the page. Unable to load some remotely hosted scripts..
Redux Framework Warning ace-editor-js CDN unavailable. Some controls may not render properly. Please wait a few minutes, then try refreshing the page. Unable to load some remotely hosted scripts..
Thanks!!
It might be an issue with the old version of the Redux Framework.
Try to update the theme and Wyde Core plugin to see if it works. I’m using the latest update of the theme (1.7.2) which comes with Wyde Core 2.7.0, everything seems to be working fine.
I am using the latest version of the theme, but the server is running on PHP 7.3, could this be the reason? Thanks Wyde!
We’re sorry but we have never seen this issue before. If you’re using Wyde Core plugin 2.7.0, try to re-install it to see if it works. After you delete it from your Plugins screen, you will see a notification message with the link to install it again.
Bonjour,
You can edit your content using the WPBakery Page Builder.
If default WordPress editor is active on the page/post edit screen, you will need to click on the WPBakery Page Builder button at the top of the edit screen so you will be able to edit your content with the page builder.
If that button is not there, please ensure that you’ve installed the WPBakery Page Builder plugin. Also, try checking the settings under WPBakery Page Builder -> Role Manager and make sure it is enabled for your current role and the post type you’re editing.
Hello,
A client of mine is using your template on https://zoeteliefde.com/. The version of the theme she is using is FloraVersion: 1.5.5.
As you can see there the site is not loading correctly *this after we switched to another hosting.
Question: 1. which version do you currently have released? 2. do you recognize this error?
My client really wants this to be fixed.
Your support is appreciated.
KZM
My apologies for the delayed response!
1. The latest version of this theme is 1.7.2, you can find more details in the changelog: https://themeforest.net/item/flora-responsive-creative-wordpress-theme/12038776#item-description__update-log
2. This is a compatibility issue, the Redux framework that was included in the old version of the theme was not compatible with PHP 7.x. You will need to update the theme to fix this issue.
Thanks and is there a way I can update the theme without losing my current content?
We recommend installing the Envato Market plugin so you can download and install the new update under the Themes screen on your WordPress admin. You can find the instructions on how to update the theme in the documentation: https://wydethemes.com/flora/documentation/#update
works again after installing the latest files. TY!
Dear Flora-author,
great work with the theme! Thank you! Just one question: We are trying to build a responsive version of the site on http://4.citizendata.de, but the responsive options of wpBakery only show reverse columns and do not show the classic hide options for different screen sizes. Also, the frontend editor is not showing up. What do you recommend to build a responsive layout for the theme (Hide some boxes for some screen sizes and show them on others).
Thank you, best from Germany,
Timo Spinde
My apologies for the late reply!
We’re sorry but when this theme was released in 2015, the Visual Composer (or WPBakery Page Builder today) didn’t have the hide options for different screen sizes, those options have been added later. So, we added our custom responsive options for this theme as seen in the column settings.
However, you can add the following CSS class into the Extra CSS Class field of the row/column settings to hide it on specific devices instead:
hidden-xs = Hidden on mobile hidden-sm = Hidden on tablet (portrait mode) hidden-md = Hidden on tablet (landscape mode) hidden-lg = Hidden on desktop
Regarding the frontend editor, this theme comes with additional content elements and features. Some of them are not compatible with the frontend editor so it was disabled since the initial release in 2015, as you can see in the theme features section on product details page: https://themeforest.net/item/flora-responsive-creative-wordpress-theme/12038776#item-description__theme-features
We would recommend using the backend editor instead.
I had problems with blog pages, none were displayed and it kept loading forever from versions 1.7.1 and 1.7.2. The error in my case is that I had copies of the blog files in my child theme with the structure and requests of the previous versions of the theme. All this has changed, in fact some files are even in other places so the pages are constantly loaded. So check out your child themes and all the customizations you’ve made. I hope it helps you !!!
My apologies for the late reply!
Thank you for the helpful information!
There have been a lot of changes in the new versions, 1.7 and greater, to make it meet the new WordPress Theme Requirements for Envato Market.
If you have made changes to the templates in your child theme and it doesn’t work correctly after updating. You will need to check your customizations in the child theme.
Hello,
This is the website with Flora theme now – https://dila.com.ge/ It is a one page website in Georgian language.
I want to add the English version (exactly the same one page version) and have a button to switch languages in the menu bar (far right).
What is the shortest way to do that?
You will need to install a multilingual plugin (e.g. WPML) to create a multi-language site.
Another way is, create a new site as a subdomain or subdirectory with the same design and settings in another language.
Thank you.
WPML I understand
So, another way is to install a copy of the website on dila.com.ge/en/ subdomain and install a switching button in the menu upstairs to switch from EN to GEO
OK, The only question remains: What to edit in order to install a small button at the far right corner of top navigation menu?
My apologies for the delayed response!
Try the language switcher plugins below to see if it works:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/language-switcher/ https://wordpress.org/plugins/multisite-language-switcher/The plugins above include a language switcher widget so you can add it to the navigation menu or the footer widgets area.
thank you
Hello
I found that the GRID option for posts does not work. This was true for the last update and also for the current 1.7.2. The page is loading endlessly. As soon as I switch to the most basic view, I have the page back again.
We’re sorry but it is working fine on our demo sites that are also using the Flora theme 1.7.2, please check out the links below:
https://wydethemes.com/flora1/blog/ https://wydethemes.com/flora1/blog-grid-2-columns/It might be a caching issue, make sure you’ve purged all caches after updating. If it still doesn’t work, you may need to send me your web address so I can check it.
Hello,
I bought the flora theme and im very happy with it, everything works great! I have only one question and hopefully you can help me with this problem. Our titles are not responsive on a mobile phone. I tried a couple of things but i can’t figure it out. Our website is https://luisterdan.nl
Thanks!
Hugo
Thank you for choosing our theme!
To fix this issue, you will need to add the following CSS snippet into Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS:
@media only screen and (max-width: 559px) {
.w-custom-heading h2 {
font-size: 30px !important;
line-height: 1.2 !important;
}
.w-custom-heading h3 {
font-size: 28px !important;
line-height: 1.1 !important;
}
.w-custom-heading h4 {
font-size: 24px !important;
line-height: 1.1 !important;
}
.w-custom-heading h5 {
font-size: 22px !important;
line-height: 1.1 !important;
}
.w-custom-heading h6 {
font-size: 18px !important;
line-height: 1.1 !important;
}
}
Also, you may need to choose the “Element tag” option for the Custom Heading element to make it fit to the length of your titles. For instance, if you are currently using “H2” but it is larger than the screen, you may need to choose H3 or H4 instead.
Anyway, thank you for reporting this issue. We will also include this snippet in the next update of the theme to fix this issue.
I have installed Wordpress 5.7 and Flora 1.7.1. I tried to add a portfolio item but got a PHP error: Fatal error: Cannot use isset() on the result of an expression (you can use “null !== expression” instead) in /home/customer/www/oxdes21.digitaldifference.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/themes/flora/inc/metaboxes/wyde_portfolio-options.php on line 28. There are no plugins installed apart from Wyde Core 2.6.9, WPBakery 6.6.0 and CF7 5.4.
Any ideas what’s going on?
Thanks
Thank you for reporting this issue. It has been fixed in the new update of the Flora theme (1.7.2) that will be available for download soon.
after installing wpml the theme settings have been reset, totally: no logo, no color, all off! and thank goodness you tell us it’s compatible!!! no words to describe this situation…
I tried to deactivate all plugins, except flora’s plugins, but nothing
Now I see that “wyde_options”, in wp_option table, was overwritten with a string “A”, instead the JSON with all configurations… this thing is really hallucinating.
We’re sorry but we’ve never seen this issue before. Actually, the WPML won’t change the theme settings so you will have the same theme settings for every language on your website. I have no idea why they have been reset.
However, please ensure that you’re using the latest version of the Flora theme (1.7.1) and have updated all bundled plugins to the latest version to make sure they will be working properly.
If everything is up-to-date but still doesn’t work, you may need to send me your web address with the login details so I can check it. You can send a private message through the contact form on our profile page: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact
Hello! I am sorry to report that version 1.7 is not working as it should. I have wp 5.6.2 and with the new version it is not able to load the web, it remains in a constant state of load ..
Everything seems to be working fine on our demo sites that are also using the latest update of the Flora theme (1.7.1). Please check out the links below:
https://wydethemes.com/flora1/ https://wydethemes.com/flora2/Please ensure that you’ve purged all caches after updating the theme. If it still doesn’t work, there may be plugin conflicts on your site. Try to deactivate your plugins to see if it works.
Thank you! I have reinstalled everything and purging the caches seems to have fixed it. Now I have discovered another terrible mistake for me. There is no responsive option in the rows !!!! This text appears: “Reverse Columns Order. Displays the columns in reverse order vertically. ” But there is nothing to do!!!! Please help.
My apologies for the late reply!
There should be the checkbox options to display the columns in reverse order on specific devices. Thank you for reporting this issue, we will fix it ASAP!
While the problem is being resolved it may help someone to know that you can use this:
xs-column-reverse sm-column-reverse
In the Extra CSS Class section of the row settings
Very useful information. Thank you for sharing this!
Hi,
My hosting agent tells me that the latest versions of my theme Flora and “WP Bakery Page builder” are not compatible with the latest version of Wordpress 5.7 that was updated on March 7th, 2021.
Is this the case? And if so, are these themes and plugins going to be compatible with WP any time soon?
Which versions would that be and when?
Please advise asap as my website doesnt work at all for the time being.
Regards, Maria Mattsson, Stockholm, Sweden
The latest update of the Flora theme (1.7.1) is compatible with the latest version of WordPress (5.7).
Our demo sites are also using the latest update of the theme with the latest bundled version of WPBakery Page Builder (6.6.0) on the latest version of WordPress and everything seems to be working fine. Please check out the links below:
https://wydethemes.com/flora1/ https://wydethemes.com/flora2/Please ensure that you’ve purged all caches after updating. If it still doesn’t work, there may be plugin conflicts on your site. Try to deactivate your plugins to see if it works.
