Can I set your main demo and disable all the booking fuctions?
Actually I just need a showcase site, where every property has a simple booking CTA that point to airbnb/booking url.

Hi. For each listing you add you can add a redirect URL instead of the book now button. But it is only the url that redirects user. You can remove the URL by editing each listing and the booking will happen in the site with the theme booking system.

I have some questions:
Option 1
To create a site where property owners can list their properties together with their availability calendars on my site against a yearly fee. The property description and prices according to dates are prominently displayed as is the owner contact details.
1a. Prospective guests cannot book through my site but will need to contact owners direct for any bookings. Is this possible.
1b. Once the yearly ends, would listing be automatically removed until owners pay again or does this need to be done manually ?
Option 2
To create a site which lists properties against a fee but will also charge the owners a small percentage per booking. Obviously in this case the booking of each property needs to be done from my site.
2a. Is this possible?
2b. Is it possible that in the instance above I as the owner of the site would not have anything to do with payments. What I mean is that clients book through my site, which booking is automatically sent to the owners, The owner receives the request and credit card details and then all payments have to be done with the property owner themselves. This would effectively mean that I as the owner of the website will not have anything to do with the collection of any booking monies. I will only get paid by sending owners an invoice for the listing fees yearly and the invoice for any booking fees as programmed,.

But to make a different system for current day only with on/off because for sure not all clients ask more than deposit it is extremely complex to plan and to be honest this suggestion is too complex to even add to wishlist as may require a complete re-coding of the entire booking system. Hello Tommy, Thank you for the interest in the theme. We have ICAL feed export and import. You can import calendars from 3rd party websites and export the calendar from wprentals. This Ical syncs the calendar availability. There is a cron that checks the feeds. In our theme we check every 3 hours

So if somebody book room “x” on website now, airbnb/booking won’t sync immediately that room, for those days, as unvailable? It will be unvailable in the next 3 hours?

There is wprerentals ical -> exported to airbnb. In this case the sync depends on airbnb cron timings, I do not know what that is but support can confirm for sure
There is airbnb ical -> imported in wprentals. The cron runs every 3 hours. If the booking is added between 2 runs, the booking is synced when the cron runs. It is not necessarily a difference of 3 hours between booking and syncing, but there can be a maximum of 3 hours. The cron timing in our theme can be edited, but the more frequent it runs the more hosting resources you need.

i have now been working with this fantastic script for 4 months now, i have tried with many different users and notice that when using woocommerce payment they all get confused as it not very clear at the checkout with Deposit and Subtotal.
it really really need to show that renter is paying for deposit when is deposit and or showing the total so they understand that they pay for deposit?
i think this is a very vital part, please give me an idea how this can be made.

hello, can you also recommended a third party cache plugin to be used with your system so is possible to control some pages not to be cached? i think this is a very important thing for wprentals to look in to as cache is a very big thing in todays website!

i am not using any plugin yet but i was thinking of w3 total cache, also i am using cloudflare but i have used my 3 free page rules, to not cache wprentals dashboard for users when they add new proerties.
So i was thinking to install W3TC but wanted to ask you guys first, i am so surprised that i have these issues and no one else?

Hi Birken, I do not know the Cloudflare options by heart. Send me your options and I will check their documentation to see if you can make by default only cache for not registered and then you can use the except rules for pages like checkout. We use cloudflare but I am not aware of the dashboard pages to must be included as exception. Maybe it can be managed from Cloudflare caching options.
i do not know W3TC as options to advise on that. But Cloudflare and cache plugin do not do the same.
Cloudflare is by default a CDN. And they have cache options extra.

i think i solved it by adding “cart” and “checkout” to bypass cache level in cloudflare. but i have removed the page rules for user-dashboard and edit-listing. because i need to pay if i want more then 3 page rules in cloudflare.
Anyway now cart and checkout seem to work fine i will make more test

Since version 3.2 of January 2021 there is a bug in one of the main features of the theme.
I have reported it since then. If you put any filter on the advanced search page when you click next page or to go to the third or any page of the search results, it doesn’t go.
It can be perceived as a code error that jumps like something is broken and goes back to the first page. I can attach a recording where you see it up to three times with the same result: back to page one.
You can test it with the advanced search page of your demo site: https://main.wprentals.org/
Click advanced search on the home page, then on the advanced search results page select one bedroom from the filters. Now try to go to the next page.
It’s a shame because the theme and support are great but this bug in one of the main features of the theme has been driving me crazy since January.
My only concern is if you are going to fix it for the next update. thanks.

The other file is elementor, I do not know where is use, perhaps a shortcode for map. But to remove it in elementor code, I do not know how. And for sure plugin updates (same as theme updates) override these changes. But elementor support would have to asked and as far as i know they do not give support to free version users, so I cannot help much with this one.

I have to see exactly the console messages and the response details from browser console to understand if there is something we can do as elementor pro support. I did not find Modal in free version, so I assume it is a specific widget you use from a different version of the elementor plugin. We need these details too to check the answer.

1)Is it possible to display price on per month option as rented house and other rental stuff all works on monthly rent basis. So if we cannot display price on monthly basis customer will loose interest to calculate. E.g. if customer book a house or any stuff on rent for 1 year then he have to calculate per day rent multiplied by 365.. 2)Also is it is possible to pay that user can pay 1 month rent to book the product and remaining payment later subsequently.

Payment is not done as payment for a rent either.

The elementor uses the theme global sidebar settings as you create a new template (in preview). And global hero media too.
We will check for a future update how to remove the sidebar for preview mode. The global header media is managed from theme options – https://help.wprentals.org/article/global-header-options/ That will applies to all pages and posts, including the preview.
For the sidebar, I think this workaround with css can help hide the sidebar for elementor template preview only

The only reason you could not see the features is if they were removed from properties.
