I’m having a problem with my minicart icon in the header. When I add products, the little product count number in it jogs up and down, but the number itself does not increase. I’ve seen it increase but only the very first time after an upgrade, and never again. Ideas?

That is because of the cache or any third party plugin confliction, so please remove your server cache and then deactivate it till you are in the development process and then deactivate all the third party plugins from your site and Activate the Parent Theme if you are using the Child Theme, and finally check back your site after removing the browser cache, I am sure you will not finds this issue anymore. Lots of bugs since the last update … New header system which does not work and which breaks the old one suddenly having to go back to an earlier version. I strongly advise against this theme I had only concerns right now.

Sorry to say that but there is no such issue with our latest Theme, the issue must be on your site only and that might be because of your own Customization, so please follow the below listed debugging processes one by one, I am sure it will help you in finding the cause of the issue.
I. Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
II. Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
III. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
IV. Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V. Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it
VI. If you have setup the Porto Speed Optimization Wizard, then please reset it and set all the options to default, uncheck all the options and save changes/compile and check back your site after removing the cache of the browser.

Can someone get back to me on my emails ?? The child theme is not working . The child theme is somehow overriding the parent theme and giving me the error Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page , parent theme is missing. I’m installing it on a fresh wordpress website with no plugins. So the error is coming from the theme.I’m using the latest wordpress version. I don’t see how the problem is coming from wordpress
I think there are a few serious problems with the theme. First I thought it was a site problem. Did a fresh Wordpress and theme install, but still remains the same. These are the issues:
1. Live Option Panel > Header > Header Builder > HTML section: Can’t do any changes. Error message when I press on Publish: Looks like something’s gone wrong. Wait a couple seconds, and then try again.
2. New page > Porto Studio Icon: I select and import the section through the studio that I want on the page. The layout then shows on the page with all the info and sections. But, it can’t be saved or previewed. As soon as I click on save draft, previews or publish is opens a page saying “Page not found”, then all the info is gone.
I have lost a lot of work due to these issues. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same.

since a few days, there is a whitespace between the top banner and the hero image on product categories. The banner and the hero image are integrated via blocks build with elementor and I could find out, that there is no padding or something else. How can I fix it?

the problem is the elementor scrolling effect, which adds a whitespace above the image – the whitespace is no spacing itself, it is part of the image/animation. You can find the image here:

I am not able to check that space for now, as I think you have already turned it OFF, and you can not fix it with Custom CSS, which requires a more large image to cover that part when scrolling, so whether you can go with turn OFF that scrolling or try to set the large image for it, hope that makes sense.
