This guy is the rudest Author on ThemeForest. I pointed out an issue in the Starter template, he called me rude, and closed the thread on the OS repository without considering my feedback. Are we in high school?

FROM AUTHOR ON PULL REQUEST:

“Not every “best practice” is the “best performant” one. Did you do extensive testing with and without 250 NgModules just for routing? Did you build an enterprise level e-learning system with 3 separate applications running on same codebase and same routing using a dozen different levels of authorization based on those routes? Did you ever build something for other developers?”

- Why would you need 250 routing modules? That’s another problem. Similar routable components should belong to the same routing module (e.g. “Auth”). Instead, he has separate “Routes” for each “component”. That doesn’t make sense. In fact, if you make certain changes to the existing routing scheme, it will CRASH your browser.

- He also suggested I have never built a production-level application. Haha… this dude is a joke.

THE BAD

1. The routing implementation is wrong. He does not use routing modules, instead he exports routes from a constant, and imports them into the “AppModule”. He says this has better performance than using a RouterModule, EXCEPT, he imports the RouterModule into the main module anyway

2. He asked me why I purchased the template, why not do it myself. Haha… that’s excellent customer service . I bought this template for the DESIGN!!!! I was looking to save a few hours of boring CSS. I didn’t expect to code around a bunch of useless garbage.

3. The Starter is overly-opinionated.

THE GOOD

1. I do like the design of the template and the overall organization. 2. I still think its a good template, but it would be better if the Author was more receptive to constructive criticism.

One more quote from the author on the OS pull request (Github), which he closed to stop me from responding:

“Why are you using Fuse, if you think it’s buggy and not following best practices? I don’t get this, really. If you this unhappy about something, don’t use it. We don’t force you, nobody forced you to buy Fuse. You can spend couple months and create your own perfect bug-free system if you are that good.”

- Wow, where to start. First, how does a prospective buyer know whether there will be issues with the template until they purchase it and try to use it?

- This guy needs to retire from ThemeForest if he cannot accept customer feedback.

- He knows nothing about running a business or customer service. And no, I don’t care how many templates he sold, or whether he is an “Elite” author. The whole idea is to delight your customers and convince them to buy from you again.

I will never buy anything from this Author again. However, I will not ask for a refund for this template, because I know he put in a lot of work.

I will say it is worth the ~$26 for the design, but the rest will have you frustrated and pulling out your hair.

-

“Are we in high school?” Proceeds to write 3 pages long comment and gives 3 stars review.

Pull Requests are not for discussing something. If you want to discuss something, we have Slack for that, we have support for that and we also have comments for that. If you bought Fuse for the design, then use the design, replace all the code and you are good to go.

Why didn’t you include some of your responses to other people that gave their opinion against yours?

You clearly don’t have enough experience on Angular to understand some of the stuff we did. I’m not going to explain them to you because that’s something we charge people for. And I never said you never build something that goes into production, I said you clearly never build something on enterprise level, otherwise we wouldn’t be doing this conversation.

I’m open all kinds of criticism as long as they are constructive, but if you open a PR and proceed to write a long paragraph about how bad something is because you didn’t like it and we must remove that “buggy” code, then sorry, that’s not a criticism. On top of that, you act rude to other people on the repo that goes against you, again, that’s not a criticism.

Also you can keep copying/pasting stuff here, everything I said to you, I can say it here as well, I’m standing behind my words, every single one of them.

Anyways, as I always say, Fuse is not for everyone, if you are not happy with it, you don’t have to use it. You can always request a refund, find another template and use that with your own way.

As this conversation is not going to add anything valuable, I’m not going to respond you further.

Have a nice weekend.

Here’s the link to the PR, people can read for themselves (if they can access). My initial PR was not for a discussion, it was to remove the “NoAuthGuard” from the routes that do not require an AuthGuard.

“You clearly don’t have enough experience on Angular to understand some of the stuff we did.”

I don’t think you even understand it. But you’re right, this is going nowhere.

You have a good weekend as well.

Hi, i’m looking last v13.5 and i see that all @fullcalendar packages are not updated, are there some problems with latest versions ?

Hello,

FullCalendar Angular component for FullCalendar v5.x uses a single config option for both calendar options and events which require a pretty much complete rewrite of the Calendar app.

This also causes issues on event updating. Simply updating the event array doesn’t get caught by the component because it resides within an object so you have to manually update the reference of the object every time you want to update the events which is a huge backward step compared to v4.

I haven’t decided what I want to do with the Calendar app just yet.

Cheers

ok thanks for info

Hi,

I’m using asp.net core + angular the project will install angular automatically there is any documentation to install fuse on fresh angular, becuase its make issue when i using your starter verion

Hello,

Since Fuse is more of a starter setup, we don’t have any installation guide for an existing Angular app.

Cheers

Hi guys, Can you give some instructions to include FontAwesome in Fuse? Thx

Hello,

You can install their Angular library to use it within the Fuse.

Hi, is this angular +12 or AngularJS based on?

Hello,

As it says in both item title and description, it’s Angular 12.

I bought your Treo template, but now I found that it is removed and I will not be able to access its latest versions. I also found that this Treo has been merged into Fuse. Please either give me Fuse or refund my money. I don’t have money to buy Fuse too. I also sent a refund request but you did not answer there. I was about to buy Fuse back then but I did not. Now I thought I made mistake. I did not use Treo because it is no longer supported. I would like to take Fuse. I will be very thankful to you.

I no longer have control of that account so I cannot help you, unfortunately.

I have purchase code would not that help to identify my purchase?

I would love to see a Vue version of this, even if it were a separate project. I would buy again.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest.

We have plans for the Vue version but currently it’s way too early to talk about the release date.

Cheers

Hi – I want to create a thumbnail gallery of images. Do you have any or recommend any plugin for it? Let me know. Thanks.

Hello,

We don’t have an image gallery in Fuse but it’s very easy to create one. I don’t think you will be able to find a up-to-date gallery component for Angular. There may be some native javascript image galleries with an Angular component but I think that would be an overkill.

I suggest you to create one unless you need on the fly image editing capabilities.

Cheers

Please share the Figma design files

There is no design file available to share.

please add SagarFinFlux to Github repo

You can request an invitation from here, it’s an automated process: http://www.withinpixels.com/themes/fuse-github

Hi,

I have purchased this theme as well as the Treo theme which I can see from a few of the other comments are by the same developer. Why was the Treo theme removed? I no longer have access to it on themeforest or github, and the website has completely gone. Meaning I can no longer access the latest version of that code.

This also makes me very concerned that the same could happen for this theme as well, for one day without warning for it to just completely disappear.

There were some problems with Treo and it got removed, same thing won’t happen to Fuse, it’s here since 2015 and will still be here for a long time so don’t worry about it.

That’s a shame about Treo, but understood.

Is there any chance of getting a copy of the latest Treo code before it was removed? While I plan to build my project off of Fuse there were certain design elements from Treo which I preferred and would like to implement within the Fuse theme. As there was no warning about it being removed, I didn’t grab the latest version and the version I had was fairly old.

Sure send me a message through my profile here and I’ll get back to you.

I create somthing like gmail and google drive advance search with overlay, but i have one issue i want make oveley width with input have same size.

I have issue with resultion 1366×768 the design will be larger to much there is any way to change it ?

https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/10779888?key=d8de789b5b88a72cace12ba915ae51f6

Well, if your target user uses that resolution mainly, you can re-arrange things and make them smaller to make more room. Other than that, there is no magic way of making everything smaller, unfortunately.

I’ve purchased the treo theme, now that I know both belongs to you and this is more feature rich / frequently updated I to port my application to this theme, I had 2 question before proceeding

1. How heavy do you think the upgrade process will be provided that I did not change anything in the @treo directory

2. Does this theme has resolved the out of memory issue while running ng serve ?

There is no correlation between the two so upgrading is not an option and it won’t be an easy task.

Out of memory issues has nothing to do with Fuse, they are solely caused by either Angular CLI or simply using the wrong NodeJS version.

i’ve purchase your fuse theme and i want to add datatable in it but it is not working package is not installing in this theme.

there is no built in example of datatable in it and it is not supportable please help me to add datatable in this theme i have search alot it is saying that theme is not supportable for data table.

another thing that when it is updated for LTS version because we cannot add package of datatable in this version

Brother i’ve tried what you suggest it is not compatible for this please reply to my ticket i am waiting. please provide example of datatable using in this fuse theme of angular 12

Replied to your ticket.

Thanks

Hey,

You have a plans to add firebase auth ?

Hello,

I don’t have an immediate plans for adding a Firebase Auth examples but it’s really not that hard. You can simply follow an Angular Firebase guide and apply that to Fuse since Fuse is nothing more than an Angular application.

Cheers

Hi, sorry for a stupid question but how do I change the layout if I want. Is it easy like Wordpress or must I be able to code myself? No drag and drop I mean?

Hello,

Fuse is an admin template, you need to be able to code in order to create things with it. It has no value or functionality by itself, and cannot be installed to anywhere like a Wordpress theme. It’s a template that you can use to develop your own application.

Cheers

Hi – do you have a file upload/file manager component in Fuse Angular? If not can you suggest a good one that will work well with Fuse? Thanks.

Hello,

We don’t have one in Fuse but you can use https://github.com/pqina/ngx-filepond with Fuse.

It’s a very powerful and beautiful file upload library.

Cheers

there is any plans for adding RTL support.

No, there is no plan for adding an RTL support to Fuse.
