Lawyer demo is from version 2, so locate the import files in assets folder under demo2, after you import the theme options the one page system should be setup automatically.

Hi there, the support does not include “fixing” anything for you, all I can do is point you in the right direction, which i did numerous times. The problem is your lack of basic skills, including reading. I would recommend hiring a developer for your case. Ask for refund if you want, stupidity does not qualify you for a refund but I will cosider in your case.

Hi there,
you should enable one page (sticky menu) in theme options (dashboard > theme options > navigation). This is all explained in great detail, in the documentation that comes with the theme (help file) – that can also be accessed here.
Also, I have responded to your initial message, and if you’d kept the access open to your website I would have fix this all issues reported.

Hi,
For blog posts, when assigned a category, it is possible to have URLs that look like this: “mydomainname.com/customizable-category /article-name”
For portfolio pages, currently, even if I assigned categories and tags to my portfolio pages, the URL keeps the word “porfolio”: “mydomainname.com/portfolio /page-name”
So, how is it possible to change the word “portfolio” in my URL please?

Those words are the slug’s of the post type and they are mandatory.
You can’t change that from the theme if you use the default permalink settings.
But I am sure there is some plugin that can help with this, I just never had a case that need this words changed, so I can’t point you to it.

Hi Guys…. looks like there is something wrong with this theme working with Php 8.0. Can you do an update please? Not sure if It’s to do with the older plugins on the site? Quite urgent please as I won’t have an option to downgrade to PHP 7.3 for much longer…Thanks.
PHP 8 is not supported and is not recommended to be used with WordPress in general. Recommended theme version is PHP 7.4
HI GUys… actually the errors are all to do with your definity elements and the ReduxCore? It is necessary to update your php system otherwise you will be vulnerable to seucrity issues for one reason amongst many others like eventually everyone will need to upgrade to keep up… Kindly advise thanks.
You can try the following – this is not fully tested and do a backup of the folder described below – if something is wrong restore the backup.
1. Download the Redux plugin from here;
2. Unzip the download > located the folder “redux-core”, (*NOT “ReduxCore” <- ignore this folder);
3. With the theme comes plugin named “definity-elements” open this folder > options > ReduxCore (backup this “ReduxCore” folder – copy it somewhere and if something is wrong just revert back to this);
4. From the downloaded folder copy the content of “redux-core” inside the theme plugin folder from step 3 “ReduxCore”;
4.1 If there is something wrong with the theme options, delete the new ReduxCore and add back the old one from the backup.
This will fix the warning if you don’t want to wait till the update.

Hi – i am having issues with importing the demo V2 content – from the documentation I am importing from the Import/Export option from the Themes section – the Import from File doesn’t allow me to browse for a file on my computer – the Import from URL also doesn’t seem to work.
What’s the process on this screen to import as clicking import seems to only show or hide a text box – then the “Save settings” > it seems very unintuitive
I also attempted to import demo V1 content unsuccessfully via the Import feature of wordpress.
When checking the XML file also some of the assets in the XML also aren’t available – for example below:

1. I downloaded your DEFINTY theme demo pages and articles to have an easily editable base. Everything went well for the pages. But for the articles, when I want to modify the text, it goes beyond the screen (even when I am in “Row Type: Normal (boxed)”). 2. Also, the width of the column where the content of the article appears is really not big (66,66% of the screen), is it possible to increase this width a bit for computer screens please?

can you send the actual URL of the site so I can see in more details. Maybe your images are too big?
The style of the blog single page is “centered” and that’s the width, it’s not easy to change but can be done by modifying few theme files or with additional CSS.

If you are talking about the blog single page – it should be like in the demo. I can’t change the layout because theme customization is not part of the support.
If is not like in the demo that means is a user created error – if that is the case I can only advise you to back-track your steps.

You don’t need subscription to download the latest version.
It’s v2+ I can’t tell from top of my head. Also, the plugins are updated and there is additional plugin portfolio.
You or your client can download the latest version, you need subscription for the support only.

For information, I am in PHP 7.3 version to have a secure site. However, if I upgrade to 7.2, the last of the three messages disappears but this version of PHP will soon be obsolete and vulnerable, so it is not good to use it. If I upgrade to 5.6, all the messages disappear but my site has major security flaws.
Your Theme Forest package (https://themeforest.net/item/definity-creative-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/20259333) does not specify which PHP version to use.
Do you have a solution to make your “definity-elements” plugin compatible with a more recent PHP version?
Also, the Wordpress version compatible with your theme is noted in your Theme Forest pack as 5.5 while the latest version is 5.7. Do you plan an update soon please?

this is a PHP version-specific error that the redux plugin (theme options) throws.
The theme demo runs on PHP 7.3 without any errors, and I recommend PHP 7.3 version, but, try upgrading to a newer PHP version PHP 8+ or PHP 7.4.
If you see errors on PHP 7.3 that means your server is configured differently.
Yes, there is a big update in the works that updates the Redux plugin to its latest version and many other things, there is no specific release date but, should be out soon.

In the main folder (that you have downloaded from ThemeForest.net) locate the file assets > demo > demos v1.0 > definity-wp-demo-data.xml this will import the demos and all pages from version 1.0
Then follow the documentation – install guide from step 2
tldr: import the “definity-wp-demo-data.xml” file with WordPress importer, this will import all demos from v1, including the freelancer, then simply delete the other pages and keep the one you want.

1. Create your own menu and set it in the main menu location;
2. Settings > Reading > home page to static page – Freelancer OP, blog post page to page named blog;
3. Edit the home page with your own data and connect it to the menu using custom links with # – see the documentation about one page for this;
4. Delete the pages, posts and media that you don’t need;

the demo Impact has all the pages, other demos have some of the pages related to that particular demo.
Don’t import two demos via the One Click Importer plugin
You should manually import the demo Impact by following these steps:
1. Navigate: Dashboard > Tools > WordPress Run Importer – install, activate and run.
2. Locate the demo .xml file in the main download folder > assets … the file ends with .xml, this should be uploaded in the WordPress importer from step 1;
3. Important: select that you only want to import the pages;
4. When is compleated you will have all pages in Dashboard > Pages, and you can copy whole sections via Elementor right click – copy & paste.
