Can you please advise if it’s possible to make the text or total view of the whole site smaller? The text, buttons and icons on our site are way bigger in comparison with the demo pages, therefore the header menu will not fit correctly.
It is possible to change the emoji’s when reacting on (for example) a post?
If we click on an icon in the sidebar menu, it doesn’t disappear automatically when being redirected to the page but we have to click on the menu to close. How can we change the settings or is this a bug?

7) The top search bar is not searching for products when woocommerce is installed.

Regarding point 7, because lots of people requested to user the search only for “community” things (members, groups, etc) we sepparated the option for including WooCommerce items in the search. You can use the “Customizer” -> “Vikinger Settings” -> “Blog” -> “Post Types – Display in Search” option to include any other post types you like in the site search, like shop items. From now on we don’t have an updates log because we don’t have pre-defined updates, but we’ll add stuff depending on availability/requests. Hi dmf1670, sadly the theme doesn’t have integration with those plugins that you’re mentioning. Due to the really custom nature of the design (that has things like a custom slider with icon tabs in the profile pages instead of the classic BP row of links in order to make it look different than the average BP theme) plugins that may work in a vanilla theme, may require some code customization in order to integrate them. Hi, I am looking to have a video library for members to access, they would pull from vimeo or youtube.
Would I basically need a video blog post for each one, and then it can just be searched and filtered like your blog example page?

Hi. The theme breaks when I use li – /li tags. There is no problem when I use ul-li-/li-/ul or ol-li-/li-/ol. Note: I just tried it on bbpress. I haven’t tried it on blog and buddypress. I hereby submit for your information.
You just have to format them correctly, put the LI items inside OL or UL:
- Ordered List V1
- Ordered List V2
- Unordered List V1
- Unordered List V2
Please keep in mind that this is handled by bbPress, not the theme.

As we mentioned in previous comments, we don’t have plans for front-end blog submissions The WordPress blog feature works from the backend and they have an already really powerful editor with lots of blocks and features (and constantly getting updates). If you don’t want to grant access to the complete backend features to someone, remember that you also have the option to give users the role of “Editor”, “Author”, or “Contributor” https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/ which allows them to write blog posts from the backend but “locks” some of the other features. Regarding reviews and ranks for groups, it’s not a feature that BuddyPress has, and the last plugin you linked us wasn’t even updated in 8 years. This seems more a customization work as it’s not a feature widely requested, for this reason, as we mentioned before, we don’t have plans to add this in the future. Best Regards

Frontend Post Submission i think frontend post submission for the community is perfect, they can make they own post sharing with each other.
Hi erisoktafiana, for now we completed all the planned features in the roadmap to reach the Vikinger “final” version, but we’ll keep maintaining the theme with updates, we’ll also keep adding features but with no roadmap. For example, we just released and update that includes lots of hooks.

Okay( My support ended because I haven’t used your theme for a long time. I waited for the functions to appear. It might be as simple as writing a manual, or simply integrating font support like most templates. Thanks for the answer anyway.

Hello. I’ve tried to download the new version as suggested above, but the problem continues. I mean, the blog page “crash”, and does not show in a proper way, This seems to be related to the Vikinger Widgets plugin, since without it, the theme continue working as normal.
I’ve clean cache, re-download and install, and nothing.
P.s: My support as expired. All i need is the widgets to start working again :/
I’ve had to disable the widget for now. Since it’s blocking major pages. But please, be aware of this :/

That’s strange! As you can see, other people are able to install it without any issues. First of all, please make sure that you have the latest WP version installed, and be sure to check your WordPress Site Health. Many issues you may encounter can be easily solved by ensuring that you don’t have any issues reported by your WordPress Site Health page, like errors or old versions of PHP. You can check your WordPress site health via your WordPress backend panel -> Tools -> Site Health.
After that, if you haven’t done much yet, we recommend you to do a clean install to start again to make sure that the things you’ve done don’t interfere with the setup (be sure to install the latest version of the theme!)
You’ll first have to install and setup the theme you can do it following the docs: https://odindesignthemes.com/vikinger-theme-docs/ inside “Getting Started” – “How to Install” “Theme Setup” (this is an important step as you need to correctly customize the BuddyPress setting to make sure everything works OK).
