Hi there, I tried to update the theme today because of WPBakery error (couldn’t modifiy any of my pages, it doesn’t show..). But when i tried to set the new Jacqueline folder, i get a “critical error”. Anyone knows why ? Thanks !

i don t find the disconnect button to install v2 and i am not able to report this via your support – ticket – system.
So if i try to enter purchase code it says Product in use with another domain. I d like to disconnect the Domain, but i do not see a Button.

“Disconnect domain” button is in the Theme Panel > Theme Dashboard > General. We have manually disconnected the license key on our end. Feel free to activate the theme again. Unfortunately I am not happy with the latest theme update 2.0.0 at all. My client’s website has only been up and running since January and I don’t have time to rebuild the website.
Unfortunately I will not be updating the theme anymore. But what are the consequences of not updating?
Will the “old” theme version (in a few years’ time) no longer work with the latest PHP version and WordPress?
You put a lot of companies in trouble this way. How are you going to solve that?

Hey there, Before I update. I got this message: Starting from version 2.0.0, there was a major theme update and migration to another page builder.
Now i do really love elementor. But this means i need to completely build up my site all over again. Is the visual composer fully fased out (not usable anymore/supported)?
If so, are you going to compensate these hours of work, as this is not something that i can expect my customer to be charged for.

Your update broke all my website, the worst update i ever seen for old users on approximatevely 30 websites and templates that i have. It’s a shame to not respect your users and change everything without taking care of compatibilities. You seriously thinked that your users will rebuild all their websites without saying nothing ??? Honestly it’s a shame !
Moreover, i paid one year ago for development by your team to match my requiremenets, and now these implementations are gone ! So i paid for nothing, really disappointed

To be more specific, we have updated the theme core to ensure better security and compatibility with PHP 8.x. The new theme version is set up with Elementor so you could take advantage of all its widgets and options. However, the new version still has basic compatibility with WPbakery Visual page builder. Anyone else having this problem read this: So after about 3 hours of trying to fix this. Here is the solution.
In your ftp software change file transfer type to: binary and then reupload the jacqueline theme. It now works. Have no idea why this works, or what the issue is with the theme but save yourself hours of troubleshooting. and upload as binary

i fixed it. It is an issue with the theme. Needs to be uploaded in binary transfer mode if you are ftping theme files
