Hello, I’ve been working almost a full day now on the upgrade from 3.x to 4.x I noticed A LOT of settings changed and styling code added (very annoying, it takes a lot of time just to disable the newly added styling code in my child theme). What I cannot get to show is the footer, even though I have one waiting in the Kuteshop Footer Builder. Is this not working anymore? Please don’t tell me it requires Elementor, because I do not want to use Elementor. Also, please do not tell me to submit a ticket for support. I expect proper documentation on how a theme is migrated or set up, but the documentation is incredibly poor. So my question is: how do I get the footer that was working just fine in v3 and was built in the Kuteshop Footer Builder to show up in v4?
I found it. It requires the Ovic addon toolkit. And it requires the Kuteshop toolkit uninstalled first, or the site crashes. And most of the styling is shot to hell again. Very happy about this update

The version 4.x supports Elementor and it’s made with new source code,... You can re-setup the theme and use Elementor if you want … You still can keep your current site.

As I said above: With the version 4.0, some of old layouts no longer be supported and more new homepages will be added… About WPBakery, I will consider to update it soon.
Pls note that: the theme has been re-made with a new and better source code. So with some pages which you customized, you can re-built them. About the data, it is not effected. You can do these changes via the child-theme.

How it’s possible to release a major update without proper documentation on how to migrate your existing configuration to new theme? All the other developers does that. After we updated the theme our site layout, design, everything broke. Very disappointing! As least you should have warn us about this!
