How can I edit Logo URL for Definity?
Hi there,
the theme comes with documentation where every theme option is explained in great detail.
Logo can be chanced from the theme options > general panel, but if you having trouble changing the logo, you should definitely read the full documentation.

Ah, I see what you are talking about.
On mobile the nesting level for the sub menus is limited for better visibility and to prevent what you are trying to do – for better user experience.
But, with some additional css you can add more left padding and nest it indefinitely, you only need media query (max-width: 992px) and padding-left: 25px; for the sub sub menus.

Hello, quick question. Do i need to open a Word Press Pro account to manage this template? I just bought the template and now Word press is telling us we need to purchase an annual subcription with them to manage the functionality of the template. Is that correct? I didn’t want to have to pay an annual cost for using it, on top of the purchase. Thanks for your clarification or to your feedback on how to avoid paying that WordPress pro account. Thanks

there is no need to purchase anything more than this theme, to build a similar-looking website like the ones shown in the demo.
You maybe are using wordpress.COM and not the wordpress.ORG (which is the free CMS). The theme can run on both.
Also, you can ignore and dismiss any third-party upsell notification for any registration, activation, pro, or other types of marketing upsell – offers.
The theme is a one-time purchase. The support is renewable if needed.
P.S. make sure you read the documentation for demo import.

We have had many problems setting up the template. We are not able to set it up un any hosting environment. Many pages or plugh in don’t load. My programmer is telling me that the template has not been updated since 2020 and maybe it is not compatible anymore with the new Word press updates. Can you please help us? What do we need to do to get it functional and make it work? I already asked for the help of 3 programmers and none of them were able to set it up. They always get errors. Thanks

I’m not sure if it’s a bug on my site, large image files or an issue with my theme set-up. The site has been working for a couple of years without issue and for the last month or so 3 of the 5 pages with won’t load. I’ve scanned for malware. Is there anything else that I can check to troubleshoot it?

usually cases like “it worked before now it does not” are not theme related and is probably some plugin conflict or some user error.
Its best to remember what you did before the problem happened and backtrack your steps.
Can you tell me what is the site url and what pages don’t load?

I have recently purchased Definity Theme because of its features and good ratings and mostly because I wanted to add the “Show Your Story” demo (https://ajdethemes.com/definity-wp/op-fullscreenvideo/) in my website’s landing home page to be able to edit it. My hosting provider technical support team member was not able to download the above video and add it as the main header of my website’s landing page, with same content as this demo and I was informed because demo 1 is an old version and demo 2 doesn’t have the above video and same content as its demo.. They informed that I have to choose from the Architect, Engineer, etc… but this one is not there…. They have downloaded a blog as the landing page.. I got confused and wasted almost a week trying to guess how to answer their questions… In your email reply, you requested to share my admin credentials for your kind support to resolve above-mentioned issue. Do you mean My dashboard admin details (username and password)? :

I recently purchased the Definity template to use on my website for providing freelance servies and mainly because I wanted to have the “Shoe Your Story” video in my website’s landing page. However, upon resorting to my Siteground technical support team member, I was told upon downloading the demos in the Definity and Fefinity child folderd that there is no freelancer option i think in demo 2 and they couldn’t neither access the above video for my home pagd set up..
Can you please inform me about the steps to access above mentioned?

I recently purchased the Definity theme mostly because I liked the video story heading but I am not able to add this page as my main website’s heading. I have a Startup hosting plan with Siteground.
I contacted their technical support service and in order to help me out to add it to my main website’s landing page, I was asked to check with you the following : “As for the demo content, please consult with the theme creator and ask him which is the demo that is present on https://ajdethemes.com/definity-wp/op-fullscreenvideo/ so that you can import it.”

Hi. I have a little problem with the social icons in the mobile menu. Although I have only filled in one field (Linkedin) in the Theme options > Social Links section, all icons remain visible (with no link apart from the linkedin one of course). How can this be sorted out? Many thanks in advance for your help. Best regards

those plugins are bundled with the theme and you don’t need to activate anything, just click ignore and use the plugin.
There is a documentation that explains how to install a demo, depending on the demo, if is from v2 or v1 of the theme.

This theme is broken, specifically under the theme options. This area is full of errors on a fresh install, and you cannot make changes in this area because half of the buttons do not work. This theme needs to be fixed.

please follow the installation video tutorial in order to setup the theme and read the documentation that comes with the theme.
Everything works fine – 1. activate the required plugins, 2. import a demo, 3. add your own menus, that’s it.
To see the color changes from the Customizer, you need to do hard broswer refresh after you change color (ctrl/cmd + shift + R in Chrome).

Hello, I bought your template, followed all the steps mentioned in the guide to import demo, when importing through tools>import>wordpress gives error when importing all multimedia files, how can I solve this problem? The options are not being applied to the template either because menus and home page are not automatically defined.

Hello again, i have an issue with my site is not full responsive in particular the head does not adapt to the intermediate dimensions of mobile and computer, in some smaller laptops for example 13 inches not fitting properly and cutting part of the image. you will find the problem by entering the following page and manually shrinking the browser window https://eco-solutions.gr/ Could you give me some solution to this problem;

this fully depends on the settings for the Slider Revoultion slider.
In order to achieve perfect image position for multiple sizes, I would cut the image for multiple different resolutions that I need, then load each image for each size via the SR settings.
Also, there are many other settings in SR plugin that you can try to achieve better result – be sure to check this link for more detailed information.

Hello, I’m having trouble finding which css rule to change the top video image in template “index-fs-video-mp.html”. I looked in main.css and saw other images, but nothing that looks like this one. Thanks so much for your help, in advance.

Hi, i am having issues with importing the demo V2 content from the documentation I am importing from the Import/Export option from the Themes section – the Import from File doesn’t allow me to browse for a file on my computer – the Import from URL also doesn’t seem to work.
What’s the process on this screen to import as clicking import seems to only show or hide a text box – then the “Save settings” > it seems very unintuitive

“the Import from File doesn’t allow me to browse for a file on my computer” – this might mean that you have incorrect permission settings on your server.
