Implementing something like this would be a major project. If it becomes highly requested it’s something I would consider adding, but otherwise you would need to find plugins that add this or hire me to add this for you.

This theme is built with the Elementor page builder plugin, not WPBakery Page Builder. It fully supports BuddyPress. The theme also supports bbPress which adds a discussion forum.

Since I saw your socialise theme seems to be using WPbakery page builder but you have mentioned this theme has almost the same feature to the socialise theme. Can I have an idea of the difference between both of the theme? Thanks for the reply

Magzine has all the features of Socialize plus tons more. All the major features are listed on the item page. Socialize is much more limited in how you can customize the style and layout of pages. If you’re just wanting a basic theme that works with BuddyPress and bbPress, Socialize is a fine choice. If you want more control over editing the appearance of the theme, with tons of reviews features go with Magzine.

1.3 No, you need to create a forum/topic manually and you can associate this with a hub.

2.1. You can create any tabs you want for all tabs globally or for individual hubs. However you can’t create global tabs that automatically link to forums/groups, you’ll need to add the URL for these tabs on each hub you create manually.

2.2.Yes you can keep the hub header with tabs on associated reviews/posts/forums (not BP groups though).

3.1 There is no award system, but you can easily assign a custom field to a post and then display this custom field in the style of an award using the Post Meta element.

5) What do I mean by custom fields is : To display a button “Visit website” you need to have a field in the post admin “visit website link”, to show it dynamically on the page.

Also for the filter “released date” / “platforms” / “publishers”... How are they added? I guess you created a custom field to be able to add them to post and filter with the search feature… (screenshot: https://prnt.sc/213g1o6)

5) You can insert a button into your page template which says “Visit website link” and each page can use this template. This doesn’t require a custom field. If you’re wanting to use a different button URL on each page then yes this would require a custom field, which the button can easily be linked to.

Platforms and Publishers are attributes which are basically custom taxonomies. You can create/edit these via the theme options. Release date is an option field on each post/page – the value is stored as a custom field.

You can create custom fields just like you would do with any WordPress theme, as this is a core WordPress feature. You can display these custom fields using the Post Meta element and filter by these custom fields using the Attributes Filters element.

3) There are no plans to stop updating this theme. An update only a month ago is pretty good – you don’t want updates coming out all the time! There is a new update on the way that will be adding some new features.

The theme doesn’t have exactly the same options but you can do any in Magzine that you could in Gauge.

1) This theme comes with it’s own review system so it’s recommended you disable Ultimate Reviewer. The theme comes with a converter to transfer all your rating data from the plugin to the theme.

2) No this shouldn’t be, reviews and ratings will work with any custom post type.

WordPress doesn’t have a primary category option. But you can choose to exclude categories from displaying when you show categories over thumbnails.

So you want a user to add a rating for a product that doesn’t yet exist on the site? In that case, the user would need to create their own post/page that is being reviewed. This can be done with the theme using the post submission form, which allows a user to write a review from the frontend which create a page/post that can be approved by the admin.
