You should be logged in as admin. Also check your permissions to edit theme files. If you have this permissions, you should have “Appearance/Theme Editor” in the admin panel.

Hey there! I do have that yes, but the menu with the cogs that suppose to be there to pull out isn’t there. If I click, “Custom Colors” under appearence it just loads the site without any options to choose from.

Please see error messages in the browser console. To see console in Chrome press Command+Option+J (Mac) or Control+Shift+J (Windows, Linux, Chrome OS).
Most likely remote request is disabled in the your server configuration and you will see message about this.

I am getting a 403 Forbidden error when it tries to get /wp-content/themes/skrollex/includes/generated/colors/color-panel.php. I tried opening up the permissions on that file but that doesn’t seem to be doing the trick.

This error code means that the client is not permitted access to the resource. It should be fixed in your web server configuration to allow color panel.

All demo pages are created using the Layers editor, which runs in the Customizer. But you can also create pages with the standard WordPress editor and use blocks from the WordPress repository. Bubbles can appear in any section of a page created with Layers. But keep in mind that Layers widgets cannot be inserted to a page created with the standard WordPress editor (Gutenberg). Thus, a standard page will have the same frame (logo, menu, border, footer), but its content should be created using Gutenberg blocks. The free WordPress repository has many such blocks for various purposes.

Thanks for your quick reply. Basically to edit/build the pages through the design we see in the demos, this would have to be done through the customizer section.

If you create a page from a preset, then you should immediately get exactly the same page as in the demo. Make sure you have the latest version of WordPress and Skrollex installed. Try to clear cache on server side if caching is used. Try disabling all plugins. Try to create the page in a new clean instance of WordPress, maybe the problem is related to your WordPress settings. If the problem is related to the limitations of the hosting provider or any other server limitation, you will most likely be able to see this in the messages that are written to the error log at the time of page creation. Ask your hosting provider where to see error logs.

Ok Iam believe I try all your tricks Four time in one day I completely remove my WP with database and install again. Now Iam almost sure Layers dont start and dont work instaled page editor.

When I check for info Layers 2 has last update somewhere in 2019 and after that is Layers with Elementor. I try Layers 2.0.10 from git hub / from you link / from official old web of layers. No one working.

We using last version of WP 5.8.3.cs I must asume there is conflict with this. If you want we can call via Teams or something and I show you how it doesnt work. And maybe you can find a solution.

Please see what is written in the error log at the time of page creation. Layers should only be downloaded from the link in the documentation. This is the patched version. Skrollex not work with other versions. If you provide a link to the page that you were trying to create, it will probably be clearer for me what happened.

You need the error log of the web server. The path to it is set in the web server settings. Ask your hosting provider or system administrator where and with what tools to view it. Typically it can be seen with WordPress plugins, but you need to make sure the plugins are get it from the right place. Hosting providers usually describe it in their documentation. If you do not have access to the current server settings, then I do not advise you to search for it, because there may be several such files on the server. You need a file that is current active for your WordPress instance.
And I didn’t really understand what exactly you did on the server. I didn’t understand what you mean by “switch not by reinstall” and “activate Lynda scheme”. Do you currently use the latest version of Skrollex and the only version Layers which downloaded by link in the current documentation? Did you create a new page from a preset?
