Hello, I am using the ‘default product’ style for my product page. I am having the following issues with the product page:

1. I have gone through the Product Quickview setting and unticked Vendor, SKU, Availability, Product Type & Display Customers viewing. However, they are all still showing on the product pages.

2. Where do I go to edit or remove the following information (a-d) which are showing just below the “Subscribe To Back In Stock Notification.”

a. Free Shipping Free standard shipping on orders over $99

b. Estimated to be delivered on 12/01/2022 – 15/10/2022.

c. Free Returns Learn More.

d. Covid-19 Shipping Delay Notice

3. Where do I go to amend or add text to the following default tabs in the product page?

SHIPPING & RETURNS

CUSTOM PRODUCT TAB

Right now, the SHIPPING & RETURNS tab contains the Latin text that comes with theme.

For the CUSTOM PRODUCT TAB, I want to edit the tab name and input my own text.

I am sorry but the response has not been helpful for question 2 & 3.

Question 2: this link https://image.prntscr.com/image/ajXgmN4qS72U0hmfclQdCA.png which you have directed me to multiples of times, show no instructions but only comes up with blank black page with small icon of a purple leaf. So, questioned 2 still remains unresolved.

Question 3: before contacting you, I looked through your user guide. Your theme is missing the product page on my dashboard that would allow me to follow these steps > Product Page -> scroll down to Custom Product Tabs and put the content you want to show for all products here. Question 3 sill remains unresolved.

I have now sorted the issues. I just noticed you have to click the drop down menu at the top & select the sections to edit. So please ignore my requests.

I am so dissapointed with the support of this theme. I always have to write on here so that you give me an answer. I wrote you and email 17.2. asking to help me with the speed of the store – my score is very low and I think the theme is the problem. You respond 21.2. that you team will look into my problem. So basically, you need 5 days just to tell me you need more time. I am still waiting for the response. I hope you can answer as soon as possible…

Now, we don’t have a trial version for customers before purchasing because we are selling theme on Themeforest and it doesn’t have a trial system like on Shopify market.

We provide the Virtual Products (Website Templates / Add-ons). You need to purchase theme to download theme source and upload to your store.

Hi! I’m longtime Ella user, but I’m super annoyed that even with Ella 5 there is no way to do a bilingual page without installing another plugin that eventually will charge money – just for showing a second language. I expect top be able to do the translations myself in the product editor – like on Etsy – why are translations in Shopify such a nightmare in 2022!?

Thanks for your quick reply – the fault is not really yours, but Shopify’s business model’s. As with many other very basic features (i.e. Ratings) on Shopify you need additional apps, that cost insane amount of money as soon as you have professional volumes. I was on Weglot for a year, but my revenues did not justify to pay the 19€/mo for the Weglot plan i had to use, because of number of words in my store. It is insanely expensive to sell on via Shopify! If I want to translate myself I have to go through a .csv export/import nightmare in the Shopify backend – this is what I call not acceptable for 2022.

I wish to have a theme that allows me to edit my product details in the translations in place, in the frontend, as a you would do it if, you asked a good UX designer.

For the click on menu, our theme doesn’t have this option for available and we need a custom code. If you use this type, you also need to change menu structure, menu level 1 cannot click to go to page, click it will open sub menus. There is a Shop… in the sub menu to help you go to Menu Level 1. Email us at support@halothemes.com if you want to do this custom work or ask for the cost and how menu will change.

You don’t need to buy any other apps to create page layout. Our theme supports sections on every page. You can use the available sentions of theme to create your pages. You only need app in case you want to have the blocks or sections which are not available in our theme.

I added the product with product variant. And added some variant also. But when i browse the product it shows the product variant in the end of url like this

I checked the product variant on any other shopify store and found that there was product with variant but the product variant was not in the end of url.

How do I choose the demo11 theme?

For the demo 11, I have imported this setting, but I can’t seems to find where to edit the “Shop by categories” area. It’s empty after imported

To edit this section, you need to create one menu in Navigation: http://prntscr.com/26tjvf0.

Then, you go to this section to add menu you have just created: http://prntscr.com/26tjztn

To add icons for this menu, please follow our instruction here:

Please Upload Icon image with the same name as the menu name (please use PNG image). You need to go to Settings—> Files, upload images here.

Naming convention: Lower cap and use a hyphen ”-” to replace white space if your color image name has the white space.

For example: with the menu name “Pellentes Habitanto” the image name will be pellentes-habitanto.png

Recommended size for icon image: 24×24px

Problem with Swatches

1. I would like to show the color swatch on product detail page only, not the product card. The current setting doesn’t allow to control this setting separately.

2. I would like to have the default product image shown on product card, the problem facing now is since I can’t control to only use swatch on product page, on product card the product image is always set to the image of the variant pre-selected (the first option)

You consider it a custom work that require $$$$, but I consider it a bug. I have purchased a numbers of shopify theme, almost all of them show the primary product image on the product card. Usually store owner choose a nice product cover image and set it up as the first image to attract customer. and for the product variant image, some time in order to make the spec clear it is a product with white background and some text to clarify the option. Your theme CAN NOT allow store owner to show primary product image on product card… it’s a bug, and for a high-selling volume theme like your… it’s a shame
