Unfortunately, the values for PageSpeed inside have also gotten worse Your own example https://kalles-demo.myshopify.com/ has one Mobile value of only 55 and at Value “Time to Interactive” 6.6 s are very high
Another very popular theme from here that I use has a mobile value of 89 and a value of “Time to interactive” of 3.3 s. All other values are better there too.
What’s happening? Kalles’ stats were excellent prior to Shopify 2.0. Please improve I’m counting on you.

Sorry to get back to you, but I have to report an error again:
Since version 3.0 is in the theme settings for layout the Custom Width setting: without effect on footer top and block “Image with text overlay” – just for example.
Other settings also have no effect here!

Gmetrix has updated the scoring criteria, so that’s why it is B and not A. However we will test it more closely in version 4. For the problem with “Custom Width” option please try to use 3.1.1 and see how it works. If the error still exists please use our support system. we will help you accordingly. Thank you!

Of course we use 3.1.1. Our stats aren’t good either. By the way, we measured the values without apps and only with a minimal start page with only two 45kb images

Besides waiting for an answer for the above question, after changing to kalles my site speed is down to 8 on Shopify!!! I have done every possible optimization and I have only 2 apps installed. What’s wrong?!!!

I wouldn’t really much on Shopify’s score too much. Just make sure you cover all PageSpeed Insights recommendations https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
From theme side we optimized the code a lot. Also version 4 coming soon hope it will have better performance.

Thanks for trying to be helpful but I would like to bring the following to your attention:
- I can guarantee that there is no function or feature in Shopify that I don’t know about. I am quite aware of adding or editing tags, products, variants and … in bulk. That being said, the bulk tag generator was a very handy tool which created tags for color, size, brand and other variant options. These tags are used in filtering feature. The tool is even more useful when you have to manage more than 9000 variants and new products are added to the catalog every day. So instead of manually controlling everything, we just run this tool once a day and make sure all the tags are in place. So if a visitor is filtering the products, nothing is missing.
- About the page speed, I am not relying on Shopify’s speed indicator. My Google test has dropped from 46 (Molla) to 6 (Kalles) which is horrible. The main and biggest reason was Unused JavaScript and CSS with 4.2 seconds!!! As said before, I do not have many apps since the template has almost everything I need, (the reason to choose it in the first place), so I did some Deferring and Async manually, combed through the CSS with combining, minifying, and removing the unnecessary code, also added and activated the Instant Page functionality manually, optimized all the images to the least viable size (AVADA optimizer) and turned off all unwanted features in template. After doing all the above, my Google speed test has raised from 6 to 15 already but still very disappointing score to be shown on the search results.
I think Kalles has EVERY feature necessary for a serious webstore already and I really hope you pay more attention to the core structure, SEO features, optimization and customization for the version 4.

Hi there, If you use the Kalles 2.7.4 and earlier you can’t update theme to 3.x because the core of theme for Shopify 2.0 is completely different, entire file structure changed in so need to do the work on the whole theme again. Regards

As i mentioned above, if you use the theme version for SO 2.0 then you will have to configure theme from the beginning. No way to update it from 2.0.2. Thank you!

I have a question about your themes and specific your filter.
Is your filter working when there are more then 1000 products in a collection? The default Shopify filter is not working with this amount of products in a collection.
Filter product options will be empty for collections that contain over 1000 products. I recommend you try this app: https://apps.shopify.com/flash-search. It is really good app for big store and especially it’s compatible with Kalles theme. Hope it helps

The theme looks great. However, there’s one feature in filter which I need it to work. Is there a possibility of selecting multiple filter attributes together and then applying the filter? For example we select Size “Small” and size “Large” together and then filter through the website?

Product Tab Accordian sidebar in 3.11, i have my accordian listed on right side of image prior in v2.7.3 but cannot find the option to have it selected.

Hello! Is there a way to change target address for different language? When I click on another language in language dropdown menu, I get subfolder address like http://store-name.com/fr (for French for example), but I would like it to be http://fr.store-name.com. Is it set somewhere in Shopify or within theme?
P.S. Just found there is option to manage subdomains within Shopify, but that doesn’t work on Shopify Basic plan (I am currently using this plan). Any way I could change address within the code? Just to set correct address of different language.
Sorry there is no option for this, it’s simply language switcher option and cannot link to another site.

Hi Thanks, I have tried the support system but not getting any results on this, I have people complaining about the drop menu issue, the main shop drop menu is replicating on other tabs which it is not supposed to do and it all looks messy. I have had more than three separate people comment on this from three separate websites using Kalles.
