I am developing a website for a client who bought this theme from you. At the moment I have set up everything and the website is ready. However I am having trouble enabling the captcha on your Lucille contact form. I tried to embed the captcha code snippet from Google but it’s not working. In addition, when I opened the “ajax_contact_form.php” to edit the file you have a comment in your php code: <?php /*TODO: add recaptcha */?> line 25. Does this mean that you will provide a future update which will make it a lot easier to implement Google’s Captcha on your Lucille Contact Forms? Please let me know, as I do not want to break the functionality of the website. If you require any more info regarding the purchaser’s details, please let me know. Thank you.
Just discovered that you have input fields for the Captcha Site & Secret Keys inside the contact form settings. It works fine with Captcha v2 but it doesn’t work with Captcha v3.

hello, we set up demo lucille 4 and the homepage is editing only with elementor. Dont you support it with WPBakery page Builder?
Also Some elements from the homepage are missing such as the “single player” tracks that you show on your demo.
Hi, the WPBakery widgets are still available, but the demos are now built with Elementor page builder. If you want to use WPBakery, you can create a new page, edit it with WPBakery and use our custom WPBakery elements. Also, the single player shortcode still exists and is called “Player Entry”.

Another issue involving WPML. On each video page, one can add a description – which is then displayed below the video.

Hi. I have been having a problem with the Lucille Contact Page since the beginning. Said page does not seem to be fully compatible with WPML. Said page has a setting “String to replace [SEND ME A MESSAGE]” and a setting “String to replace [WHERE TO FIND US]”. The settings of the page in the main language seems to override the settings of the page in the other languages. Album list on the discography page is sorted correctly by release date.

Indeed, in the WPBakery element, the albums are sorted by album release date. I will add a new option to this element for the next update, to choose the sorting based on the two options.

What happens regarding a WPBakery version if you now build with Elementor? is there a switch method?
Using Elementor, you can recreate and replace the pages that were built with WPBakery. Then, you can simply delete the old pages and remove WPBakery. Please let me know if something is not clear or you have more questions.
Hello everyone. The home page of the lucille theme allows you to customize the logo in the menu bar. a link is active on the logo that takes you back to the home page. I can’t disable the link or customize it. how can I do?
Hi, is there a special reason for disabling the logo link to the home page? This is the default functionality for 99% of the websites because the user expects this link to work. Please offer more details about your reason, this will help me understand the situation and provide a solution.
I try to explain myself. Within my site I have created a second home page. it is a subfolder in which there will be a number of pages with a different SEO than the main site. On this page I managed to put a different menu from the main home through the conditional menu plugin. The logo inside the menu bar, however, has the link to the main home. the thing I would like to do is change the logo link only for the secondary home, but I don’t know how to do it. that’s why I thought about removing the link.

exact, but only for the pages belonging to the subfolder of the site. the pages belonging to the subfolder should have the logo in the Menu bar which leads to the parent page of the subfolder. the other pages outside the subfolder must have the logo in the menu bar which takes you back to the main homepage of the site.

Ok. The site is still under construction. so there are still many default elements of the lucille theme. Here are the links:

https://www.armandopolito.com/vocalcoach/you will immediately notice that the menu bar logo in the second link leads to the main home page. For me it would be useful instead to bring it back to the home of the subfolder.

While I can introduce a new theme option that you can use to set a custom URL for the logo link, it is really difficult to identify the main folder/subfolder and automatically generate the proper URL. What I suggest: for the vocalcoah, use a new WordPress install, either as a subfolder of the main folder (like armandopolito.com/vocalcoach/), or on a different subdomain (like vocalcoach.armandopolito.com). Let me know what is the best solution for you so I will know if you need a new page related option.
Some questions:
- To install WordPress I didn’t use an ftp client but I installed it online through my web space provider. the new installation of word press in a subfolder can I still do it online?
- In the new subfolder will I have to log in with a new if and password?
- Will I have to install lucille again within the new installation?
- Does this mean buying the theme again?
Yes, you can install a second instance of WordPress to a subfolder of your main installation, or to a subdomain (if you choose to put your new install on a subdomain, it must be created before installation). Yes, you will need to login to your new WordPress with a new user/password combination (you can use the same combination if you want) and you need to install Lucille again. Since you are using it on the same domain, I don’t see a reason for buying a second license.

Hi, at this moment it is not implemented by the theme, I strongly suggest to use a dedicated plugin for that. Let me know if you need a specific functionality that should be added to the theme.

Hi, This page here shows that lucille is at version 2.2 but when i download it from my envato downloads, and look into the functions.php, it says: ‘SWP_LCL_VERS’, ‘2.1.4’ does that mean that i’m only getting to download the 2.1 version and have to buy it again to get 2.2? thank you.

Hi again. Currently i’m using white on black color scheme. But in some cases i need to turn the bright grey color to full white. Ok. glad i can change the title color but there are other critical issues. Hi, I am not sure I understand what you need, do you need custom CSS code to make the menu items use your custom CSS? Also, please remember that you can change the default fonts used by the theme from theme settings (Lucille Settings – Fonts).
Perhaps the simple way is just to use Lucille Settings – Fonts. As always, thanks for your incredible support. It’s been a great help for us.
Just one more thing. You could consider in the next update to include fonts controls and options in the customize menu. Like a typography tab where we can change font family, colors, size, etc.

Hi, how can I edit the contact page layout. Your ajax contact form does not work. I have SMTP setup properly through SendGrid and it never sends an email. I was able to get around that with a Contact Form 7 in the homepage, but the contact page I have not control over what form to use.

Hi, most probably the new line character is stripped and that is because, for security reasons, the data that is coming from the contact form is sanitized before being processed.

is there a way to set permanent links to certain pages such as Album, Artists, Events and Videos (similar to the way it works with blog entries)? They all have the somewhat ugly “js_” prefix in the URL and no customizable slug.

Of course, you have the option to edit the permalinks for custom post types according to your needs. Please go to Settings – Lucille Music Core Settings and change the permalinks for custom post types and for custom taxonomies. Let me know if something is not clear!

I have a small feature request: Could you extend the customization of widget titles (i.e. in the footer sidebars) to include a URL?
I have set up the footer to display the upcoming events widget and I would like the title to link to the upcoming events page. Currently only the listed events each link to their detailed post page.

Is there a way to use the WPBakery template library or is this not included in the WPBakery license that comes with this theme? Is says ” for activated versions only”.
Unfortunately, the WPBakery template library is available for individual WPBakery purchases. Since you got the plugin bundled with the theme (we’ve purchased an extended license for the plugin to able to distribute it for free to our customers), you cannot receive an individual plugin license. But you have full rights to use the plugin. Please let me know if something is not clear or if you have more questions.
