Can user edit on front-end – polls and trivia, or is it only available for posts?
we don’t allow users to edit trivia quiz and polls on front-end but if you like it’s easy to enable , need little customization

My settings are like this. when I post a story, it is not displayed on the homepage for other users to see. Even I can’t see.. where can I be wrong?
You can uncheck display featured stories , or you can select featured stories in wpadmin > stories > edit story , which one you like to show on homepage
Right. Your explanation works fine. Do you have an option to put stories to appear automatically without moderation? The story appears and stays for a while and then goes out. Does that make sense to you?

I followed your guidance and it didn’t work. I cleared cache and cookies. I tested in different browser and mobile. The story appears in thumbnail, but when you click on it to expand, the screen is dark.
