You can insert shortcodes to footer widgets. Via “Customize / Edit Layout”. And you can fully delete text in the “Customize / Footer / Styling” if it is not needed, since it can’t have shortcodes.

Try deactivating all plugins. This looks like a conflict with some third party plugins or styles. Perhaps you are using some lazy loading tools, they may not work correctly with the masonry gallery.

The version of FontAwesome that is included in the Layers is used by default. This is not the latest version of FontAwesome and some icons may not be available. You can try to install third party plugins for support latest version of Fontawesome.

There is such plugins in the free WordPress repository. Keep in mind that theme is not tested with this plugins. Read plugin manual how to use it.

Skrollex extension should be activated in plugins. This plugin is included in the theme. You should see a warning about this and activation link after installing the theme.

This is not in theme presets. Such a section can be created using third-party plugins. All demo pages can be recreated from presets in one click. You can also create pages from scratch in the WordPress editor. Pages from presets can use plugins that are implemented as WordPress shortcodes. In pages that are created from scratch in the standard WordPress editor, you can use plugins that work as WordPress blocks or shortcodes.

Of course, you can reinstall the theme. Either overwrite all files or delete and install theme in admin panel. Content and settings will not change.
The logo is automatically scaled to fit the menu, no other options are provided. Images in content are usually automatically scaled to fit the column or page, but this depends on how they are inserted. Most often, you can set the size as a percentage. I did not understand the second question, but if this is not shown in the demo, then most likely the theme does not provide such a function. When you create a page from a preset, you should immediately see everything as on a demo site. Your layout has changed. Most likely there are styles that are added by some plugins or you added them. Try disabling all plugins and reverting style changes if you have done anything with CSS.
hi, i need support for a couple of problems: 1) blog: I can’t figure out how to change the title from “our blog” to “blog” and remove the subtitle “scrollex theme”. 2) I have some files that can be downloaded by approved users, but I noticed that when a user logs in via the classic wordpress login, these users (even if they are not administrators) will see the template color change gear, therefore, they can damage the site if they want, by changing colors. Is it possible to prevent non-administrators from seeing the gear box? thank you
To change blog layout, open blog page in WordPress Customizer (open Appearance / Customize then navigate to blog page) and change blog widgets via left panel (Edit Layout / Blog Page Widgets). Colors can be changed only by users with permissions to change theme files. Users with this permissions can see “Appearance / Theme Editor” in admin panel. It is simple way to check that this permissions granted to user.
Still having trouble getting the custom colours part to work. I’ve gone into my webserver configuration and altered the permission on that file to allow the colour panel, but it’s still not working. Still getting a 403.

Hello, I have purchased your theme today, and it is not functioning as expected. Also the content is impossible to change in places without further purchased layout pro or advanced coding… e.g, the “Skrollex Menu 2” has styling which encompassed words. so while i can change the title of menu , the additonal words i can not. I would to request a refund via Themeforest since its been just a few hours since purchase.

All theme features are available without Layers Pro. This plugin is not required and is not supported by Skrollex. Message about Layers Pro displayed by the developers of Layers because this extension may be useful for other themes, but not for Skrollex because Skrollex has advanced styling options. Please see video in the documentation on how to get all the features offered by the theme.
