Hi :- )Im trying to show listings by category on the front page. So im using the Listings By block. Unfortunately it only show the letest listing. I need it to be random but there is no option for this. Same with the Listing Entries Block, its not random. Is there a solution?

Hi, please can you tell more about the in-built booking system seen here https://docs.listingprowp.com/knowledgebase/how-appointment-booking-works/ For example if a booking is pending for the 12:00 – 13:00 slot and then I approve the booking, will the same timeslot become available again on the front end of the website? I ask because you are marketing the theme to build out a restaurant listing website and obviously the booking system needs to be able to cater to the needs of restaurants which potentially have multiple tables free for the same time slot. The built-in FREE Booking system is only for booking Appointments and currently, it doesn’t support reserving a table at a restaurant.

People looking into this product, if you are selling listings to people with coupons, bear in mind that the coupon form will not properly remember what you had entered before when you go to edit it later and it will set the end-date to 1969 so make sure you go in there and re-edit it to fix. This is a very powerful app but it is very, very buggy.

I do love this software overall but there are some issues with it that you’ll want to consider when looking into it. One of them I discovered today is that when you are on a subsequent page of listings (which the developers of this software apparently don’t want to call a page even though it technically is by any definition of a website), and click into a listing, and then click back, you go to the first page of listings. This is bad usability and their support staff tells me that this is by design and is Ajax’s fault. I find that very hard to believe and am not fond of developers blaming their shortcomings on the software libraries they choose to build on. If the user is on the third set of ten listings in the search, picks a listing, and clicks the back button, they should then be back on the third set of ten listings in the search. That is how the back button is intended to work and anything else is bad usability.

It is very strange to me that you can restrict free accounts from having a web link on their listing but free account users can just add links into their business description. I wish there were a way to restrict that for free users.

Hello, I’m thinking of buying your theme, but I would like to know a few things first.
1 – I have seen that you have several designs and styles according to the directory. But, for example, if I want to use the “Happening Cities” style for one section and the “Featured Pets for Adoption” style for another, it is possible. Work with multiple styles within the “Med pro” directory?
2 – Within MedPro, there is no menu. A “mobile hamburger style” menu can be added
3 – In MedPro there is no Blog, nor have I seen the styles of the articles anywhere. Is it possible to add articles?
4 – In MedPro, can you add the latest articles section to the home page?
5 – At the level of categories and medical specialties, I understand that it is possible to add those that I need. Or are there certain options and I can’t change them?
6 – At the google adsence level, is there a problem?
7- Within the addlisting, can the fields be modified, added or deleted?
Sorry for so many questions, but since it was created for a certain business, changing it to a totally different one seems complicated. Imagine that I want to create a directory of dentists. It would have to modify all the categories, and specialties and adapt them to dentists. Would it be possible? Thank you very much

1. You can edit your page with a page builder and here you can put different elements on the page. when you put any element on the page here we have provided you with different category styles you want to add to the page. These are the just demo you can add data according to yours.
2. Yes, you can add menus from wp-admin >> appearance >> menus >> here add menu and after select menus for mobile then save the settings and test your site.

4. Yes you can add articles on the home page edit your page with page builder and here search element ( blog ) drag put it on the page if it shows articles on the page.
5. Yes if you want to create a category by itself then go to wp-admin >> listings >> category >> here you can add a category by self. and if you want to show those categories on the banner then go to theme option >> banner >> category taxonomy >> here select category option >> and in the category, field select those categories which you want to show on the home page.
6. There is no problem you just put code and use it.
7. Yes with the help of the FES builder you can edit or delete fields. just go to wp-admin >> listing pro CC >> visualizer >> here enable FES builder and edit it. now you can edit or delete here field.

Here is the same system, users have to create an account or directly add the listings as dentists. On the submission form, he will be asked to add an email to sign up. I am submitting this to support as well but in case this is by design, I’m leaving a comment here because I think it’s not very good design. When, for example, you’re on page three of a category of listings and you click into a listing and then click the back button, you are brought to page one of the listings. This is very, very bad.

Is there a way to prioritize which category is the primary category for a listing in multiple categories? For example, I have a “Places to Eat” main category and, below it hierarchically, are “Restaurants” and “Bars and Nightclubs”. The problem is, Bars and Nightclubs is alphabetically before Restaurants so if a business is in both, it automatically shows up in Bars and Nightclubs. Some bars that serve light food would rather be in bars while restaurants that happen to have a bar or a lounge area would rather be in restaurants.

We are really sorry there is no option to make the category primary, but you can add the parent and child categories if you will add more than one category in a listing then the system will show that will come first according to the alphabetical order. Further, on the search result page, the categories that will show in filters will have the – - before child categories according to their level.
Further, we have one option to show all the associated categories, if you want then let us know at the support help desk our team will do it for you. As advised above.
