Theme is not tested with such plugins. Simplest way is to use WordPress in multisite mode for dedicated subsite for each language.
It is standard WordPress features and theme works in this mode.

hm, I have updated theme and it gives me critical error (I have latest wp 5.9.3) It gives me Warning “undefined constant LAYERTS_THEME_SLUG… Fatal error “Uncaught error: Class “layers_Widget” not found… What have I done wrong, I have updated with Envato plugin?!

Try to install latest version of Skrollex and reinstall Layers from link in the current documentation of Skrollex. If both installed correctly and is not changed you should not have this error. Also, try to disable all plugins.

for Multicolor SectionsThe Skrollex Extension plugin is not installed or not activated. This plugin is included in the theme. You should see notification message about this and a link for installation and activation in the administration panel after theme is activated.
HI – I am trying to install Scrollex theme for Wordpress on self-hosted environment. I have seen the Support notes regarding installing Layers first which I have done. Layers is available to activate in the themes page. When I attempt to load the Scrollex theme, I continually get the error
"The Parent them could not be found" You will need to install the parent theme, Lawerswp, before you can use this child theme. Theme installed successfullyPlease can you provide some guidance

You need to download Layers from the link in the documentation and install it. The Layers must be installed in the “layerswp” folder, as it is stored in the zip file. Layers is recommending purchase of either Layers Pro or the use of Elementor to simply employ background videos. The widget is available in the theme customizer but the videos don’t seem to function.
Layers Pro is not required for Skrollex and not supported by this theme. All demo pages can be recreated via theme presets, including pages with video backgrounds. Keep in mind that background video is displayed only throw transparent page sections. This means that you should set transparent color for section background and section should not have background images.

Hi, I could need your help. I am using Skrollex, love it. Just one thing I would love to change; I need more social media icons (which are shown on the left side of the theme), in particular DISCORD. If you want to use icons that are not included in the theme, you should use third-party icon sets. You should read the developer’s guide on how to use them. Most often, icons can be inserted using WordPress plugins or by inserting SVG code by switching the editor to source mode.
But keep in meet, that it will not be possible in a simple way (without coding) to insert the third-party icons on the left side of the border, so you will most likely have to come up with another place on the page or in the footer where to place them.
The theme has not been tested with plugins such as WPML. The easiest way to run a site in multiple languages is to use the multisite mode of WordPress. This is a standard WordPress feature and the theme works well in this mode.

You should install last version of Skrollex, then download and reinstall Layers via link from current Skrollex documentation. Only this updates works on latest WordPress.
Hi, is there a way to change the icons used in Mary? We keep getting extremely pixelated icons when we try to add our own. Any advice?

We tried to make our own icons but they are very pixelated when we added them. We tried using high resolution images to see if they worked better, but they still become pixelated. I cannot attach a screenshot here but we are trying to replace icons in the How We Work section such as the “thumbs up” and “paper airplane” icon images
If these are your icons, then a screenshot is unlikely to help me say something definite. I need a link to the page so I can inspect code in the browser. Or may be best way is to ask icon developer how to use this icons properly.

This image is 50×50px. That is what is displayed on the page. Also, your CSS code doesn’t have positioning definitions, so the icons are positioned with the default settings, which assume a different icon size. Therefore, the icons are offset in height relative to the center. If you need to display other icons or position them differently, this must be defined in your CSS for the classes trust_icon1, trust_icon2…

1. You see shortcodes like this [sx_icon class=”fa fa-facebook”]. They are blue because they are marked as a link. This is the shortcode inside the link. Just like a regular text link. Put the cursor on it and change the URL using the Link button on the popup toolbar.
2. These links correspond to the filters in the columns settings. To change these filters, use the Display button in each column.

Hello, I just updated your theme (version 2.9) and installed the php 8.0 version but I encounter problems.
In fact the whole site works very well except the editing part. As soon as I want to modify or create a page, I get the following error message:

Editing is available on my server with PHP 8.1.3. Try to download Layers from the link in the current documentation and reinstall, may be you have a version without the latest fixes. Try disabling debug mode if it is enabled in your WordPress config file (wp-config.php).

In fact I spoke a little quickly… Sorry after emptying all the caches (plugin + browser), the problem persists despite the installation of the latest version of Layers.
The positive point is that now I can access the “edit” mode however as you can see, the layout is broken and unusable…

Following your advice, I found two solutions to stop my display problem with the php 8.0 version
1. Create a ”.user.ini” file and insert it inside: display_errors=off
2. Edit the wp-config.php file and replace the line: define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false); by ini_set(‘display_errors’,’Off’); ini_set(‘error_reporting’, E_ALL ); define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false); define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
In both cases the problem disappears, which is the most important!
But which of the two solutions do you think is better? In fact, is there one of the two that is not recommended for the proper functioning of a site?

It is recommended to disable these options on production sites, because they are needed for coders. It doesn’t matter which way you disable debug output. When this is enabled, you can receive messages directly to the browser not only for theme code, but also for plugins or WordPress core, and they can break the page layout. Even if these messages are not displayed, they can appear at any time after any updates.

I still can’t customize the colors on my site. I saw your 2 videos and followed your advice: I cleaned the cache, deleted the cookies. I have deactivated the plugins. Nothing changes. When I change the colors, I can see the changes in wordpress, but the changes are not saved on my site. The original colors remain.

Please see error messages in the browser console and in server error log. Ask your hosting provider how to see error log. To see browser console in Chrome press Command+Option+J (Mac) or Control+Shift+J (Windows, Linux, Chrome OS).

You should be logged in as admin. Also check your permissions to edit theme files. If you have this permissions, you should have “Appearance/Theme Editor” in the admin panel.

I have contacted my host. It turns out that I had chosen a package that included a “management pack” that limited some of my admin rights. I didn’t know that. I was therefore displayed as “admin”, whereas in reality I was not on the whole site. That’s why I could modify a large part of the site, but not the colors. Everything is now fixed: I don’t have the “management pack” anymore and I can change the colors.

You can change any content, delete or insert items. To insert embed code from YouTube or from other service, switch editor to source mode via pop-up toolbar.
Also you can use plugins to insert video. Inside SX Section you can use third party plugins if this plugins can works as shortcode. Inside pages which created via standard WordPress editor you can use plugins which can works as blocks or as shortcodes.
