Pre-buyer questions : Hello …
1- When rolling over videos or photos how long can the text displayed be ? For some videos I would need 4 or 5 lines for credits and detailing a little bit the conditions or the spirit of footage…. Or could there be like for the photos an alternate image (with text in it) displayed ?
2- Can the infinitity display (masonry) be in place also for desktop computers without the user having to click on the + sign ?
3- Does your instructions manual cover the installation of the template on the server ?
4- Not of your responsibility, but if my vids & pics are hosted on my server (not vimeo or youtube), how efficient as a display solution is the masonry layout in terms of rapidity ?

Hello Christian, sorry for late reply.
1. There are 1-2 lines available with Custom filter text (more lines look not good) but you can use alternative image on hover.
2. Yes it works both for desktop and mobile but some browsers might ignore it
3. Instruction covers only the theme installation, also I have video tutorials for portfolio creation, anyway I can help you with it.
4. Yes it has selfhosted option for video but I recommend to use Vimeo/Youtube for long videos.

I’ve just bought this and tried to install it which has been unsuccessful. I managed to install it using only the wordpress file but now non of the pages are working or displaying any content, and I dont know how to fix this issue and install the rest of the theme.

Hi there, is it possible to remove the Plexx logo altogether? I want a full screen logo over the video homepage but I can’t figure out how to remove the logos from the menu bar. Thanks!
Hello, thank you for your question. You can change the logo in Theme Options > Logo & Menu, you can upload image there or use text.
Hi Mallini, thanks for the quick response. I see the logo options but it won’t allow me to remove the logo altogether. I’m trying to add a logo as an overlay in the centre of the screen and want to completely remove the logo from the header. With no logo uploaded it displays Plexx by default. Can this be removed?
Have you tried to put just space in the logo field, also transparent PNG image is alternative. The secont logo is on preloader layer, right?

Hello, thank you for your message. It looks like not all components were updated properly. Could you please disable all plugins, keep only Advanced Custom Fields, Portfolio installer, Elementor and Plexx Elementor Extension and check again?

Hello, thank you for your questions. 1. Yes you can combine videos and photos in a portfolio page which will be shown in lightbox 2. Onle single pages are customizabe (you can see them on the demo website) but single project pages are not.

Hello, thank you for your message. You can use mixed portfolio with video and images in lightboxes but they can not be full width.
Yes it’s possible to change the theme colors and make footer smaller or bigger, or just hide it.
Just recently, I noticed, suddenly portfolio mode on frontpage won’t show video.
I live in Indonesia, where Vimeo is blocked, unless using a VPN. Because of this reason, I opted to show the videos, uploaded to YouTube. However, now it won’t show even YouTube video.
As a workaround, but not perfect I created a new frontpage, using Elementor blocks. The website is gerryhabir.com (this is using the workaround), the supposed frontpage can be found at gerryhabir.com/home.

Hello, thank you for your question. Yes the theme supports ELementor plugin and has it’s own addon, but I have never tested it with Beaver Builder, you can try it with free version from Wordpress plugins repository but I can’t guarantee a good result.

You can use Demo content from main ZIP archive of the theme > Demo content folder, I recommend to use “plexx.wordpress.xml” file and WP All Import plugin to get import data properly.
