The Home and Previous Next labels are theme labels and you can change them by “translating the theme” – you need to start from the provided .pot language file and change the labels you need – https://documentation.bold-themes.com/avantage/theme-customization/ (section 3.8 translation). All three labels should be in the theme’s .pot file, so in this case you do not have to translate the plugin.

I’ve had this error 403 since I installed Demo 8. strategy. WordPress.2021-03-23.xml. It seems that this is an error due to the Bold Builder plugin. I tried all the methods below: 1- Modify my php.ini via my cpanel 2- Change the permalinks 3- Delete my .htaccess file 4- Change browser 5- Clear the cache 6- Change the permissions of my folder and files in 755

But I still can’t solve the problem.

I have done others by creating new pages but the problem appears as soon as I add the components bt_bb_accordion or bt_bb_button.

Neither the Bold Builder not the theme manage any access permissions on the server level. This is probably caused by some kind of security layer on your server / hosting which possibly interprets the requests as false positive exploit attempts.

Please consult your hosting what can be the cause of this – they must have some kind of log which records the exact cause of 403 response.

My mistake, you are correct. My Bold timeline version is 1.0.3 ( I haven’t installed the update that was released on Envato yesterday yet. The 2.5.9 is the BoldThemes Wordpress Importer version #.

The problem is not with the update, the problem is with the Skype widget which pushes other widgets to the left and reduces the space for the menu. You simply have to much going on in one row and the menu was “pushed out” to the second row.

You can add custom css to reduce the spacings a bit. One of the ways to do that is to add the following to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

.btMenuHorizontal .topBarInMenu {
    margin-left: 30px;
}

.btMenuHorizontal .menuPort > nav > ul > li {
    padding: 0 35px 0 0;
}

Of course, you can do it some other way you find suitable.

Single product template is included in the theme, and there is nothing that you need to do to be able to see the single product on the site.

If you want to customize its appearance, you can go to Appearance > Customize > Shop and set Settings Page Slug field. This field defines the static page within your site as the “template” page for all single single product. All Overrides will be reflected on all single product pages and the content of the page will be displayed on top of the single product pages.

From the documentation:

Avantage has a unique way of enabling you to create custom templates for individual product pages. You can create a static page, add content to it and set desired global settings overrides. Then you can use it as a template for individual product pages.

The field Setting page slug should contain the slug of your page which serves as a template for WooCommerce products. Once you add the slug to this field, all shop items will inherit settings and shortcodes of the referenced page.

So, in order to change template elements on individual product pages, please locate the page with the slug entered in Settings Page Slug field and edit it.

thanks for your quick answer.

What I was trying to say is that unluckily I don’t have anymore the single product template, probably for our original developer deleting it because we didn’t need it at that time.

I’m trying then to create it myself, I already checked the settings page slug as you suggested and trying to edit that page to use it as a template. What I’m missing though is how to create a template, because the bold builder has no elements like “product feature image, product title” and so on.

How do I add these items to the template? I assumed it needed to be done by shortcodes (I noticed that was the way the shop page is made) but I couldn’t find what shortcodes to use to show these items. Hope I managed to explain the issue better.

The thing is that Avantage has all the necessary templates in line with the WooCommerce template hierarchy in its woocommerce folder – https://woocommerce.com/document/template-structure/

So please check if your theme has woocommerce folder and if its content is identical to the one in the theme package you can download from themeforest downloads section of your account. If not, you need to reupload the missing files and that should resolve the issue.

Thanks for the kind words. Honestly we are not leaning towards adding additional functionality related to plugins (even WooCommerce) since this would ovebloat the theme in a really short period of time.

On the other hand, if you need specific functionality related to a specific plugin, you can always use third party plugins made for that or add your own code snippets. For example, for what you are looking for this would help: https://woocommerce.com/document/change-number-of-products-per-row/
