Regarding BunnyCDN, pre sale question :-) This sounds great as I would need seperate hosting for videos, however I notice it does say that the original video files are also stored on the WP main server and if they are deleted there they dont then work on BunnyCDN… Is there a way that the vids can run off BCDN but also be removed from WP server? Problem Im facing is potentially filling up my server very quickly as its a community site so lots of people will be uploading lots of videos… trying to avoid having to set server up to have video stored on it as it would just be far too costly to make it happen.

Also – Buddyboss integration, do you have a rough time line for this being live? :-)

Currently we have not released the option to delete the original file on WP Media after successfully uploaded to bunnyStream.

Deleting that file is not difficult, but there is a risk of losing the original data. Therefore, we are looking at some feedback from customers who are using BunnyCDN.

We will review buddyPress once the version for WooCommerce is released.

At the moment, we cannot give an exact time. It depends on the progress of some updates this April.

Thank you so much for you help getting set up. We now have Bunny CDN working for videos. A couple of more questions. 1. How can we make it so the large files are deleted from our server after upload to Bunnystream? I increased the upload size as suggested but I can see our server getting over loaded after a few movies are uploaded. 2. Can we use the native BunnyCDN Plugin to serve our photos like normal? 3. We have set up a server with FFMPEG, what suggestions for making our site be able to handle users in volume?

1/ It’s the original file, it will be archived and you can see it in WordPress Media. Currently VidMov does not provide an option to delete the original file.

If your server has limited bandwidth, CPU, RAM… and can’t handle too many tasks. Upload the video directly to BunnyStream, then use the HLS link or embed it in your video post.

If you need further testing or advice. Please provide us with login information to your website, hardware configuration from the server, the service you are using through the support tab. We will review it!

2/ We don’t have any support with that BunnyCDN plug-in yet, and we haven’t tried it yet so can’t give any answers to this question.

3/ That depends on the processing power from your server. There isn’t any solution if your server has only basic hardware. Processing video files requires quite a lot of resources. You should consider, estimate the number of participants and invest in better servers to handle this work.

Hi, we will have members uploading videos. Once they are on the Bunnystream we dont need or want them on our servers. How can we make it so that the user uploaded video files are deleted from our servers after upload to Bunnystream via submission form?

the submission form does not allow channel owners to link the armenber subscription to the videos. ie the owner must have the choice between making his media available on subscription or on pay per view or free. it is only available for administrator?
