do i have the ability to integrate a restaurants menu and the user can order from the page? or if an event is planned, can i sell tickets directly from the events page?

You can create and sell woocommerce products from the listing page but woocommerce does not have a ticketing system. Adding that would require some 3rd party plugin

I have some questions: Can a user have the option of paying a one-time fee to post an event on the site?
Can there be an option for different lengths of time for the event to show on the site (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, etc.) and different prices for each length of time?
Is it possible for subscribers of the site to have their first event listing be free, but the rest after that would require a one-time fee?

1. Yes, you can create a package which has a listing limit of one. You have control on the features each package provides like listing duration, listing limit etc.
2. Yes you can create multiple listing packages with different listing duration.
3. You can create a free package which has a listing limit of one and which can be used only once.
Hey! I have come across a bug I wanted to report; I use the basic editor for my listing descriptions, and it seems like it looses formatting (new lines, not sure if it’s anything else) whenever I edit a listing from the front end. Back end editing works fine.

Make sure you are outputting the description on a textarea block under listing type > single page > content and tabs
Hey, Yeah, a textarea block is what I’m using. The formatting is lost as soon as I enter the editor, so I doubt it would be related with the output block anyway. Input field is a Description field, with a Basic controls WP editor, shortcodes disabled, set to 250 characters minimum

- Edit listing type > fields > make sure cover image field is added under used fields.
- Click on this field, and make sure you haven’t restricted the field only for certain listing packages.
- Go to listing type > single page > cover style and make sure cover image is selected
- Go to listing type > preview card > make sure either the default or alternate card is selected. The list view card does not show cover image
- Go to wp-admin > theme tools > performance and regenerate cache
- Edit a listing, and make sure cover image is uploaded
If it doesn’t work after all these steps, open thel iisting page > right click and choose inspect element then choose console. See if there are any errors showing

I tried to deactivated cache related plugin, Autoptimize and W3 Total Cache (image lazy load) and seem like the problem solved.
However, I need those plugin to make the site load faster and get closer to the Core Web Vital score.
What would you suggest?
I don’t think autoptimize would cause that. It’s probably the lazy load feature on the w3 total cache. Try to go to the plugin options and adjust the settings and see if anything changes. It’s hard to say what could be the problem specifically.
PS: We use lazy load option from Optimole plugin and there are no issues, if you want to try that.

I was answering to your second question. Showing single listing content in another page is not available. You can display the preview card of that listing but not the actual listing page on a separate page

Hello, is it possible to show blog posts on the single listing page? For example, when I talk about a listing in my blog, I want the blog to show up on the single listing page. Is there some way to link them? It would also work if there is some kind of shortcode to display WP posts based on ID, then I can edit it from the admin area. 1) Can we sell a membership subscription? Users register and pay a fee that is recurring (via PayPal/Stripe) and can submit and manage 1 listing.
2) Events directory; we would like to be able to add events and sell tickets. Is this possible?
3) Banner ads; is it possible to have banner ads within listings? Is there a system that integrates into this to manage ads, stats, etc.. ?
4) Is there a way to integrate an accounts system like Xero in order to get the sales data into the platform.

1. MyListing doesn’t have membership packages. It has listing packages which users purchase to add new listings. It is also possible to create subscription packages but you would also need WC Subscriptions for that.
2. Events are created as listings and you can create tickets using woocommerce and display them in the listing page for each event.
3. It is possible to add ads inside listings using content blocks. We don’t have a system for stats of those ads.
4. We don’t have any experience with Xero but from what I can see there’s a plugin to integrate it with woocommerce so you should be able to use it.
5. We don’t have a solution for this. You would need to custom code it.

Essentially I want to build a classified/listing/directory site in which vendors can sign up for free and create their own offers. Vendors may also pay to promote/feature their listing.
Members or users of the site (not the vendors) must pay to register an account to gain access to the vendor product/offer/services search result archive pages. Or members who haven’t paid can only see certain vendor information (the ability to hide or mask certain details of a vendor’s offer/service listing).
Paid members should be able to message or chat the vendor on the site directly.
If a member chooses to purchase a vendor’s offer/service/product, I should be able to take a portion of the commission from the vendor.
