Hello and thanks for the great theme! I am using qtranslate for the multilingual and I was wondering if it is possible to translate the contact page form, the sub titles in pages with this plugin? Also when I am in the french version and click from the icon set, it always links me back to the english version of the portfolio item. Any suggestions?

this is the problem with translate plugins. They don’t translate custom fields and some other advanced features.
My opinion is: It’s better to install 2 instances of WP into 2 folders and manage these 2 instances separately (each one in it’s own language). After that just add custom link to the menu to other version.

I’m also curious if it works with WooCommerce… And if it works, how does it be shown in the theme. Would be great if there is just a button added to the product pages. Can you explain? thanks!
As I know all e-commerce plugins adds few pages which you have to bring to WP Menu.

there is any chance to translate the message of successfully mail sent from website?
The message actually is “THANK YOU ! Your email was successfully sent. We will contact you as soon as possible.”

There are 2 ways to do that.
Proper one: Edit languages/en_US.po and upload it back to server.
Another way: Edit page-contact.php (page-contact-2.php) and change it the code (this way you’ll lose the changes if you update the theme)

Awesome theme. I am thinking about purchasing it and you are ranked along with 3 others I am looking at. I have a few questions before pulling the trigger.
1. Does your theme support various typography or font choices? Google web fonts for example. I want the whole theme to be branded along with my business.
2. When hovering over “work” or “portfolio” items, it’s confusing because they change color but you can only click them in a few places. It was confusing for me—who is a tech nerd and I think it will definitely be confusing and difficult for my potential clients. I really like the color switch and description. Any way to make the whole “colored box” clickable? (I notice the boxes on the home page for “branding” “logo design” “print” and “copywriting” do this…..?)
3. To the socialize icon elements—are you going to add “instagram” for the new instagram profiles? I could really use that one.

1) We’re using Google Web Fonts for titles. With a basics CSS knowledge you can add more typography or font choices.
2) Some users wanted that, but we’re very stubborn on that. We thing title and icons are enough. Other thing is that it’s not that easy at all
3) It’s very easy to replace any icon you don’t want with any new icon.
I hope this makes any sense…
Does this theme support child themes? I like this theme and purchased it, but I want to make some client-specific tweaks and don’t want to run into issues in the future when the theme is updated.

I think there will be no problem because no one of 2000+ buyers reported this kind of issue.
It does not appear to be Child Theme friendly. That would be a great addition to the theme.

This may have been addressed in an old post but I’ll just ask. Is there a way to have 5 categories under the main image instead of 4? In the demo there is “Branding”, “Logo Design”, “Print” and “Copywriting”.
I’d like to adjust the scale of these so that I can put 5 categories without requiring someone to have to click the arrows for more.

There’s no limit in number of filters. You can have as many as you want.
There was a problem with some other user because he used Extra JavaScript for ordering filters. He had to change that script and there were no problems in number of filters after that change…

for each portfolio post, you have to define it’s parent (URL o that grid view button). It’s the last Custom field below the editor.

I am having problems with the contact page. I have entered the destination email address for the ‘contact us’ email but when I test it and try to send an email from the page it comes back with ‘Email server problem’. I know the email works as it is my regular email. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

How do I show the photo slider on my home page as in the demo?
To show slider on the page, you’ll have to add Extra images to page (under Featured image).
After that you’ll have to tell WP you want to use that page as Front page (Settings -> Reading)
How do I remove the “BigBang” logo from the theme? I’m really new to this and stumbling my way through this whole process.
I thought it would be as simple as going to the “Brankic” panel and selecting a new logo but it won’t do anything. Nothing changes.

Just wondering, is it possible to move the position of the slider on the front page, to be lower on the page – I would like to have a section above the slider showing recent publications, but currently it is by default under the slider. Hope I asked that clearly! And also, if I don’t actually want a slider on the front page is there a way to delete it – if I just dont pictures in I get two arrows displaying…

Hi,
removing slider is easy, just remove Extra Images from that page. Check if Extra Images fields are empty, maybe there is some blank space.
You can hide slider with this Extra CSS
#index-slider {display:none;}
To move slider down (to the end), you’ll have to edit page.php (Appearance -> Editor ->page.php)
and change order of these 2 lines
if (extra_images_exists()) include ("slider.inc.php");
the_content();

Hi, I’m considering to purchase this theme but before I do I have some questions. I read all the comments before so I hope I’m not asking already replied:
-Is it possible to change the layout of portfolio single pages? For example with the image on the left and text on the right, or image + sidebar and text below. I know that it’s possible with blog post but I need both type of post working separately. -Is it possible to remove the hover? Since it’s not possible to make the whole area clickable I’d like to avoid to use it. If possible, once removed the hover, will be the whole are clickable? -I’d like to invert the order of Next-previous post button at single pages http://cl.ly/image/2Z0n1l1R2w0u I feel that if you are seing the most recent post, it’s a bit illogical to click the button in the left to go to next(previous in date/order) post. Is there a way to modify this?
I’d probably end up purchasing this theme no matter if these changes are possible since it’s way better than most of the themes I’ve seen. Great work!

portfolio single type layout can’t be changed without custom CSS modifications (which we don’t support)
You can disable hover. That way, whole image will be clickable http://demo.brankic.net/bigbangwp/column-4/column-3/
I know it isn’t logical, but this is how WP made it, so I didn’t want to add more confusion. I’m providing free support on changing this.
