I installed this theme CognioVersion: 1.0.1 when it was newly released. For some reason I cannot update the site right now as it is broken, the site is loading, but when i go into editing the pages, it doesn;t display anything. also it is using Unyson editor, According to this theme, it is using elementor, but I don’t see this plugin installed. It seems that the new theme was added into this new theme? please explain. Also If I want to update to the latest as I am using the child theme, what’s the best way to update the theme?
Hello, the old theme is based on Unison, whereas the new theme is built on Elementor. As a result, automatic updates are not feasible. Please revert your website to the correct state from your most recent backup, or request assistance from your hosting support team. To use the Elementor-based theme, we recommend setting up a staging site with a fresh WordPress installation. Install the new theme there and manually migrate all content, page by page, from the old site to the new one by recreating each page in Elementor. While this process is time-intensive, it ensures the highest level of safety and reliability. Bet regards!
Hello, we just bought the theme. We recieve “Request failed. Error code: 403” when trying to import demo. What is the problem here? Also do we need to insert purchase code somewhere? Or the theme doesnt need it. Thank you

Hi – can you tell me where the backup is located from when you import the demo content? I’d like to easily import the posts from the previous website. I’m also having a number of problems with trying to add images to posts – server disconnecting or timing out. These are small images (20kb) but when trying to add to a featured image, they don’t load.

Before to install demo content, the special script creates backup of all current content in this directory: /wp-content/uploads/ub-backup/ You may download this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpide/ and go to the directory: /wp-content/uploads/ub-backup/ Here you may locate file with backup of previous content.
Also, if you want to transfer old posts and pages, first export all of them from your old blog via WP Dashboard => Tools => Export:
and export media in the similar way and download second XML file: http://prntscr.com/12ime9z
Then go to your new website in WP Dashboard => Tools => Import => Install WordPress importer: http://prntscr.com/12imfa2
Run importer and upload first XML file => click “Upload and Import” with the following settings: http://prntscr.com/12imgqk
Pay your attention to the option: Download and import file attachments. It would be activated.
Then upload and export the second XML file with media.
Then copy all media from the /wp-content/uploads of old website to the /wp-content/uploads of new (stage) website.
As result, you will receive your blog posts with media inside in your new blog: https://prntscr.com/12imio1

I have been very happy with this theme and support earlier this year. I have just launched the site, but unfortunately the last step in the checkout from the webshop doens’t work properly. My support has expired but I am wondering if the issues I am experiencing could be sorted out anyway. 2 problems: Not enough space to type the credit card details, and the Paypal redirect doesn’t work.
