Hi , When i install Porto theme and install plugins , site is not showing and displaying Fatal Error . Please refer to this message from wordpress—-In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Porto Theme – Functionality. Please let me know how to solve this issue as the website is not running

First of all, please make sure that your server requirements must meet the latest Theme/plugins requirements as listed below:

PHP version 7.4.
Memory Limit 256M or higher.
max_execution_time 600 or 1000
memory_limit 256M
max_input_vars 2000

Good day, My website breaks whenever the following modules are enabled individually or together: WPBakery Page Builder, Visual Composer. I am on Wordpress 6.0. It does the same on version 5.6.x. I have to remove the modues from the database through cPanel in order to gain access to the site. My support has expired.

Please make sure that you have set/selected the Body Wrapper as “Boxed” from Appearance >> Theme Options >> General and then set the Container Max Width (px) from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Layout as per your requirements it will work for you.

It only works with and for the Boxed Layout.

Unable to buy Theme. This is due to the fact that I am from Russia and your country has blocked transactions with Russian banks. How to get around this limitation, in what other way can I buy this theme? I am not able to purchase a credit card from another country, and in our country does not work Pay Pal.

Hello, have you removed the login popup? If i now click on the login link in the header i get redirected to the normal login page. No more login popup?

Ok, i spent an hour debugging this for you:

The file /wp-content/themes/porto/js/theme-async.js line 2860 is wrong:

$wrap.find( '.login-popup .porto-link-login, .login-popup .porto-link-register' ).magnificPopup( {

According to this the selector porto-link-login should be wrapped in an element with the class login-popup. But this is not true. The is no element with such a class. The login popup re-appears if i change the line to:

$wrap.find( '.porto-link-login, .porto-link-register' ).magnificPopup( {

Please fix this as soon as possible.

Some more digging. The class login-popup is actually present in the body tag. It just doesn’t get matched by the selector because of the new wrapper functionality you implemented in the function porto_init_magnific_popup_functions.

New function definition:

function porto_init_magnific_popup_functions( $wrap ) {
    if ( typeof $wrap == 'undefined' || !$wrap.length ) {
        $wrap = $( document.body );
    }

Old function definition:

function porto_init_magnific_popup_functions() {

Good day, Porto Maps is NOT working, i had to use the regular maps widget. What you are seeing is the regular maps. Refer to my screenshots and not what you are currently seeing, since i had no choice but to use regular maps.

Hi, This may have been asked but the search feature is somewhat lacking for the answer I need. I have bought the theme along time ago and currently have it running on shop.website.com. My wifes boss wants to have two seperate shops but it’s causing some pain and I don’t want to buy another theme elsewhere.

Can i use the theme on shop.website.com on my www.website.com as well? It wouldn’t be on another server or domain, only on the same website as shop.website.com. If I can do this, do I have to do anything extra with the licence I currently have?

No, sorry to say that but you can not put the checkout on the Single product page, Checkout page is a separate page, so you have to try with any third-party plugin which better meets your requirements.

Hello, I have a problem with the sidebar of the shop https://www.rattisrl.store/shop/ when I click on the filters the sidebar opens, I select the features I want and then it doesn’t close. How can I do to get it closed again? I also set it on the page but it doesn’t change anything. Thanks!

I have check your site link, the thing is filter works live with AJAX/jQuery like if you open the filter and choose a category the page will not reload it showing live result that’s why the sidebar will not close. In our demos once you pick a thing from the filter sidebar the page reloads and the sidebar will close when the load and showing result you can see here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/gutenberg-shop4/product-category/accessories/caps/ also, the filters only works only on the shop pages not on the other pages like (Home, About, Contact, etc) are you using a third-party plugins for the filters because I see that the layout of the sidebar not well also.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 12/06/2021. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Please deactivate all the third-party plugins and check back your site after removing the browser cache, Hope this will solve your issue, and then again you have to activate all the third-party plugins one by one and check which one is creating an issue on your site.

Hi, I have question: WP Bakery vs Elementor in case of usage your theme? The most important is performance impact – which one is faster? Which one have more option? Or maybe better is not use both just build from scratch website with your theme without any builder?

Both are fully compaitable plugins with out theme, both have many options, both have best speed performance with out theme, however, WP Bakery is the oldest one compaitable with our theme and Elementor is the latest generation plugin, so it has more new styling, and its better to go with the Page Builder.

This code was already used in another site. One standard license is valid for only 1 website. Running multiple websites with a single license is a license violation according to Envato license terms. If this is a valid case, please reset your purchase codes through here or contact us with your site url.

There are 2 ways, Automatically and Manually:

Automatically:

1. Take the complete backup of your site before updating the Theme for avoiding any inconvenience.
2. Deactivate all the third-party plugins before updating the Theme.
3. Take a Backup of your Custom Code and remove it from the site before an update of the Theme.
4. If you are using a Child Theme then Activate the Parent Theme before updating the Theme.
5. Remove all the cache from your server, site and finally check back your site after removing the browser cache and check deeply what are the changes that occur on your site after that...
6. After that go to Appearance >> Themes and update the Theme One-Click automatically from there.
7. After that go to Appearance >> Install Plugins and update the Theme required/recommended plugins from there one by one.
8. After that check back your site after removing the browser cache and check deeply what are changes occur on your site after that and if all goes well then.
9. You have to again Activate the Child Theme.
10. Again activate all the third-party plugins one by one.

Finally, check back your site after removing the browser cache.

Please go to Porto >> Theme License and deactivate the theme from there and then again activate the theme with same purchase code and then you have to update the theme to the very latest version and then try to update the plugin from Appearance >> Install Plugins and it will work for you.

Having major issues updating old theme version to newest version. seems to be incompatible with porto functionality plugin or php version or other…is there a known fix?
