Hello How do we get rid of the tour slug
Hi,
There isn’t an option to remove it, but there is a theme option to change it to anything you want.
The option is under Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Misc.
It is titled “Tour Custom Slug”.
Just one note – after making the change be sure to go in the main dashboard under Settings > Permalinks and click Save a couple of times. Otherwise you may get a 404 when trying to view the tour pages.
Hi Themotivation, I am already using Booked plugin and would like to know if it is possible that the admin can manually add a confirmed booking in the calendar for a current customer? Thank you!
The admin can add a booked date, you just go through the frontend like a customer would.

1. can i use google recaptcha instead use mailchimp etc for submission form? 2. it is possible to custome single tour default page with elementor ? (like add sticky menu/section with elementor pro, add video in single tour page etc) 3. how about your google page speed score, are this theme bloatware with many css or js, because today website load page speed is very important according to SEO and google adwords (ads)?

2 – Yes, you can modify the Tour Single using Elementor. Yes you can use Sticky Header, and video.
3 – Yes, most themes recommend a performance plugin like W3 and that works great with Embark

Hi there, how can I activate the “woocommerce product review” if a customer wants to leave a review of my tour? or is there any workaround? When I try to add it to my tour page, the system tells me:

Ideally, if you have a tourist company, you’d like customers to leave reviews rating your services, but for some reason, you guys don’t have that option. How can I do it? or best recommendation. Thanks

Reviews are a core feature in WordPress / WooCommerce, and they are supported in our Embark theme. In WooCommerce, they are shown on the individual product page.
What you are referring to sounds like it may not be a core WP feature. It’s not entirely clear to me what you mean. Are you referring to an Elementor widget? Is this using a plugin that adds a WooCommerce reviews widget?
How to change the options on the tour grid ?

Hello. I am having issues with my website today as the formatting of pages has gone awry. There are blank sections as well. Got a mail from wordpress that page builder widget pack plug in has an error. But the site doesnt not display properly if i deactivate this plugin. Can you suggest a way out.

Have you checked to ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and the Widget Pack plugin? It should all be working well if you have the latest versions.
Please note the Widget Pack plugin is required, so it should not be deactivated.

Hi, I have a couple pre-sales questions.
1) My client wants to have both tours and various listings and activities in his website BUT he only wants the tours to have payment options. All the other sections will simply have an enquiry form and the pay online option shall be disabled. Is this possible with your theme?
2) Since the payment is being handled via woocommerce I am guessing that it is possible for me to implement other payment options other than paypal or stripe, correct? For instance, i am interested in using a payment getway similar to stripe that is called viva wallet. The plugin is this:

Hi, my apologies for the inconvenience. The latest release from ThemeForest is the newest version without any issues. It is 1.4.2 with the issue corrected. There was just a mixup which lead to the folder name being capitalized so it did not match the child theme.
You can also just access your site over FTP and ensure that the parent theme folder is “embark” not “Embark” then everything should be resolved.

Dear Author. I have updated latest version 1.4.2 of the theme in my website, but it is not replacing with current theme and activate as a new theme. When it activated, all customization in Dashboard => Appearance need to make again with Logo and other options. Also the Child Theme is not connected with it.
Please advise me.

Thank you. You can set a finite amount of seats but choosing a specific seat is not possible. You can add custom fields to the checkout though, so maybe you can come up with something there.

HI Vijay, I believe these are available under Bookings / Bookings / then click on the calendar date to get bookings / details.

Yes, certainly. The system connects with WooCommerce which has a complete tax system built in so you can charge the correct amount for all buyers.

Ok yes, the demo is showing WooCommerce which is how the checkout / payments component is setup. The shop and cart parts are optional, you don’t need to have a store, but the checkout experience shown in the live demo is through WooCommerce which is great because it’s a very robust yet straight forward system which allows you to setup taxes to be charged.
Okay. Thanks. One other question: I’m running 6 tours every day, but only one guide. So when one tour gets booked, is there a way to make the other 5 unavailable for that day?
In the booking system, each time slot is separate. The time slots do not relate to each other, so there is no connection for if one is booked.
If the tours run at the same time, since it’s the same guide, what you could potentially do is have one time slot and then use the Custom Fields feature to have the customer select the Tour type they want.

Hi, there are a few different ways it can be setup. You can have different tour/event options on the same calendar, or you can create a different calendar for each one. Then you can also add custom fields, which can be different for each calendar. So depending on the options you want to include, you could have a separate calendar, or add a custom field to select the option.
