you can embed video into any page (not in the slider). For home page you can use any page as you want (this is standard WP option)

Here is the link to a blog post, inside this post I have used the “set extra image” to create a slideshow. There is any chance to re-locate the slideshow under my last txt line (in this case Immagini realizzate in Val di Susa (Italia) – Nikon D800 + 35mm f2) ?
There is also a little bug because the slideshow is over the tag & category fileds of the post.

Hi Brankic, A quick query. I am using the theme, very nice by the way. One issue I have come across is when creating a post, if your are set as an editor not administrator the Brankic custom fields will not expand, therefor not able to hide featured image or select sidebar for that post.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Richard,
This can be changed with some plugin (Role administrator or something), or you can try to change it in includes/bra_custom_fields.php. Each custom field has it’s capability which is set to manage_option. Try to change it some lower. Here is the list of all capabilities http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities

Thank you, have been trying with the portfolio shortcode. But this is in the same posttype as the portfolio, so when a post has no image it has not the same height as the other posts.
Is there a way to see only the ‘hover’ version of the blocks? Or maybe a custom post type so thay you can see the posts as text and not as a block.

Also, when uploading .swf file, it restricts it to certain pixel dimensions (I think its restricting it to the dimensions of medium images). How do I set the pixel size with .swf?
Additionally, portfolio thumbnails follow the dimensions of the ‘large’ size in media settings, not thumbnail size. Is there any way to reverse this?

when you’re using this custom permalink structure, WP can’t figure should it trigger page template or category template because slugs are the same. In that case, category template is used.
There is a workaround for this issue added in one of the updates where you can choose Category style in Brankic Panel -> Blog.

Oh and is it possible for a sidebar to apear on a page with portfolio presented? there’s a bar for it to choose on each page but when putting portfolio shorcode, the sidebar is covered/ hide underneeth it

I followed your instructions on “importing demo content” in the help file. First I submitted the xml file in the import dialog. Then I chose an existing user for reassigning the posts and also activated “Download and import file attachments”. After clicking on submit it takes minutes until a blank page appears. Not all content was imported and the menu on the top of the website is mixed up.
I deleted everthing again and repeated the instructions multiple times without any success.
I’m using Wordpress 3.4.2 and theme version 1.7.5.
What can I do? Any hints?

this happens on some slow servers. I would contact your hosting support and ask them why this happens (maybe some timeout setting in php.ini)

Something changed in my webside. The all the title of posts, pages, portfoliopages are cut in half. only upper part of the title is shown on the page. I tried to overright the theme with new 1.7.5 version it didn’t help.
Can you please assist me with that… i already put lot of stuff there. wish not do it again.

Hello, Love your theme. I have figured out everything except for one aspect. Once you get to the final single portfolio item there is a box (with four smaller boxes inside) between the previous and next arrows. it is currently linked to a shortcodes and I obviously want to change this. I cannot however seem to find where this can be done.

Thanks for your great support – I am hopeful this is my last question for awhlie, I feel like I must be starting to get annoying! Anyways just wondering if there is anyway to have a sidebar on the front page, but the content section to then go all the way across under that sidebar – specifically i would like to have 4 icon boxes go right across but the fourth one goes under, because of the sidebar. Hello, I see that in the 2 column layout titles appear below each post image but not on the 4 column layout. Is this a setting within the template that is turned off or on easily or does it require additional coding to turn on titles for 4 columns?

Hi again, I think I have just solved my doubt: “How to include a bra_portfolio on the sidebar”.
I have added this to the functions.php file:
add_filter(‘widget_text’, ‘do_shortcode’);
Now I only have to lay it out properly.
Is this ok? Is there another way to do it?
