Please i wanted to find about the following having run through the Theme’s demo:
1. If I upload a video, does the video thumbnail automatically show up in the homepage pin/card? That is, can i play it in its pin card shown on the homepage directly without having to be redirected to the Single Page for the Video?
2. I tried uploading pictures in a Gallery. After the Upload the Images were scattered as i previewed (while it awaited Admin Moderation) and not together as shown in the demo gallery post. Is this the norm with the theme? or there’s a plugin that would make it look like the one in the demo gallery post?
3. I noticed in the demo that some of the pin cards had a yellow background color while some had white. Is this a theme feature or a plugin is responsible for this?
4. I also observed some post had buttons. Is this a theme feature or it requires an external plugin?

1. If added via the submission form as an Embed, it will be displayed on the homepage (so you don’t need to open the post to see the video), as per the demo: https://anthemes.com/themes/pin/full/category/youtube/
2. The submission form as per the demo/s doesn’t have a gallery option, so the gallery you see in the demo can be added only by the ones that have access to the Dashboard, authors/admins, etc., the ones that create an account can share links/posts/embeds, as per the submission form.
3. All posts selected as “Sticky”, will be displayed like that.

Yes, I bought the theme with another account, but because of some problem I can’t access it with my old email. As requested, if I want to minimize jQuery and JavaScript on the theme, can I get help? And how much does it cost? Or will this be supported for free if I buy the theme again to verify as your buyer?
In order to remove all jQuery from the theme, will require a lot of work, not something that will be free, read the Envato support terms, as everything you see in the demo requests jQuery, menus/carousel, masonry, everything. You can’t expect something like that for free when it can take days/week and everything needs to be done again in CSS.

Hi, I have an existing blog. If I will install your Pinterest-style theme, what type of posts will be displayed in the grid? Will featured images go there? Another thing – is this theme compatible with Ezoic or Mediavine ads? (Sidebar at least 330px and no lazy load js scripts)

1. The default ones. If your posts have a featured image, the featured image will also be displayed.
2. None of the plugins mentioned have been tested with the theme. The width of the sidebar is the one as per the demo/s.

Ezoic & Mediavine are not plugins. These are major ADs suppliers/managers that insert ads in blogs (sort of like google ads). This is very important for thousands of professional blogs since their ads can’t be dynamically inserted if the space in the sidebar is too narrow or formatting of posts use too many DIVs. Just wanted you to know.
If you have the code to insert it as you insert Google Ads, it will work as it should. If you can display your Ads in the default WordPress theme using a simple text widget or a block, you’ll be able to display your ads using any theme.
I create only Blog / Magazine themes and I did a search on all comments from my theme 3k+ to see if anyone has mentioned: “Ezoic or Mediavine ads” = 1 result, yours. So I guess it works with all my themes, otherwise, as it is a major ads supplies, as you mentioned, and if it didn’t work with any of my themes, you’ll find comments related to it. Just to let you know. You can also search via comments.

Hi there! There’s an error with the thumbs-up/down rating system on your demo and on our purchased version. Clicking on it doesn’t change the value and says you already rated. regardless of the post and the starting rating value that’s on there.
Please assist with solution.
Resolved in an inelegant way—added an intval check intval($ post_ID == 0 ) to the thumbs_rating plugin function. If there’s a better way to do this, would like to get that updated since I really don’t know what this patch breaks

If you see the message “You already voted” when you click the thumbs, it’s because you did vote for that post, now or in the past 100%. Check the old posts or let me know and I’ll add a new post for you in order to see that it works as it should. This system is used in almost all my themes, without any issues.
Or you can add yourself a post via the demo and after you click the “Submit” button, you’ll also see the “Preview” button to see your post, so you can test the thumbs. Tested and works as expected.

Hi, thanks for providing the link to your other theme. Which one would you recommend for a website where readers/users post only pictures and add tags like location and descriptions? Thanks! Paintable looks like the theme I want. Is there an option to filter or search? for example, when visitors post pictures, i want them to include the city/state/country. That way other visitors can filter/search for the location they are interested in. Also, will there be a time stamp of when the pictures are posted?
1. All the options are presented in the demo/s. Generally speaking, if it’s not in the demo then it’s not in the theme, and will require custom work.
2. As per the submission form from the Paintable theme, you can select “Publish / Pending or Draft” status so that you can review the item/photo before it appears on your site. - It wasn’t tested with Paid membership Pro, either is advertised and there are no plans to use it for the moment.
- I was not able to understand this line.
- If you’ve bothered to install the plugin, you’ll see that is written that is maintained by me because if you install the new plugin (install it with debug turned on) you’ll see a lot of errors, whether it has the style as per demo/s, either has the options/featured advertised by my, so you’ll not be able to use it at all, thank you. Yes, of course. The submission form is a plugin, the same as the login/register. So, you don’t need to install them. The first version of the theme was without the submission form or the login/register purposes, the plugins were added on request.
As for the upload button, can be linked and changed with something else, like “contact us” or anything or you can disable it, up to you.

With Pin Version 4.1 you can now add links and buttons via excerpt for affiliate purpose:

Interesting idea, but this button in the post doesn’t look the same as on the main page. It looks very bad – the gaps from the edges are so small that the text overlaps the icons and the icons touch the edge of the button.
Isn’t it better, instead of occupying the excerpt field, add a custom field (Frontend Publishing Pro), so that the user filling out the post form can add their own link?
Frontend Publishing Pro has such an option, but this button is not visible on the main page in the post thumbnail – so it should be already implemented in the theme by developer.
The buttons are added only by the admin. The style of them will be improved in the next update, thank you.
The option you mentioned, can be seen in my latest theme Gridbee (with external source link) that can be added via the submission form. You are the first to mention it, so if it will be more interest from my customers, will by my pleasure to add it, thank you. Or you can add it by yourself, you can find more info about it via the help file, if this is important for you.

As you can see, the plugin works with the latest WordPress version 5.8.1 without any issues and the plugin is maintained by me. The update that was added by the plugin author more than one year ago, doesn’t reflect the options/features of my theme, either what is advertised in the first place / either what you’ve purchased and the plugin was changed almost completely. That being said, the options/features you see in the demo/s are the ones that will be maintained, thank you.

As you can see from the demo/s, the theme doesn’t have this type of functionality and will never have, different design, different purpose. For this theme, you can add buttons via the homepage with an external link as per the demo.
A lot of nice and handy features are already included. You can take our theme as a good base and build on top of that to create your own unique portal, thank you.
