Hi ! With the latest Entrepreneur update, I lost the color style of the navigation menu items when it is sticky. I don’t want to use the new Global Templates for now. I would just like to change the color of the nav menu items only when sticked. Could you tell me the CSS to modify please?

In fact, the navigation menu is initially on a transparent background with white typography. When scrolling, the sticky menu switches to a white background with gray typography. Except that since the last version 3.0 of Entrepreneur, with the sticky menu, the typography had become white on a white background… :/
I tried to fix this with theme options but it doesn’t work. So I just added some custom CSS :
.headhesive-clone.headhesive-stick .navbar-nav > li > a, .headhesive-clone.headhesive-stick .navbar-nav > li > a:hover {
color: #5d5d5d !important;
}
Also, I noticed another bug with the latest version of Entrepreneur in 3.0. With the “Blog” widget and the Masonry display, if you have more than 4 categories of articles displayed below the title, they overflow the frame by remaining on a single line instead of returning to the line. For the moment, I have corrected this with simply the “hidden overflow” css. Finally, last point, critical errors appear when updating Entrepreneur to version 3.0. They do not seem to generate an error afterwards and mainly concern the folder “entrepreneurx/lib/plugin-update-checker/Puc/v4p1/”.

Hello. I want to use the portfolio grid module (I currently have 3 projects/ services), however I don’t want the blocks to be clickable, as I don’t have 3 dedicated pages describing each service, but only 1 page describing all 3 (so I will have 1 button below the grid to take the user to the services page). I checked and there is no option to remove the links, as it reads straight from the portfolio list. I even tried to create 3 photos with text, or 3 text editor blocks or 3 image boxes or 3 info cards, however I cannot get the final outcome of the portfolio grid (greyed out photo with description within the photo and on hover clear photo with no text). Is there any alternative/ workaround?
Hi, yes there are a couple of options:
On the Edit Project screen for each one, you can select the Format: https://cln.sh/DBYgQX
a) If you select ‘Image’, then instead of linking to the project page, clicking on it will open a lightbox of the Featured Image.
b) If you select ‘Link’, then there is a field where you can add any custom link. So you can have all of them link to the same one page, or you can just input #0 as the URL and it will disable the link.

I’ve tried everything but can’t find a way to add a sidebar to a post of the blog. I see the sidebar in the demo sites. I also tried to reinstall the theme offline with mamp but i can’t see any menu in wordpress or elementor that let me add the sidebar. There’s an hint in the docs but i can’t find that page settings in elementor. I’m very desperate. Can you please help? Thanks in advance David
Hi, yes there is a theme option for that – it is outlined here: https://themovation.helpscoutdocs.com/article/138-theme-options-blog
The specific setting is “Blog Single Sidebar Position” – there you can select how you want it to appear.
If the setting has never been changed, you may just need to toggle it to None, then save, then toggle to Left or Right and save again to show it how you want.

I and my customer have a problem with booked plugin in the backend. As you can see in the two screenshots, 1. the backend controls (arrows) for switching the month and 2. the button to delete an appointment is missing. What is the problem here and how can I solve this fast?

Hi, Booked recently pushed out a plugin update, so I would imagine that is what has sparked these issues, right?
To resolve the issue, try de-activating and re-activating the Booked plugin. That should fix it.
Yes, I also think that the update is the problem. Deactivating and activating it again unfortonataly does not fix the problem. I tried contacting the developer boxy studio over ticksy, but can’t because I have no valid envato purchase code, as I was buying it in the package of your theme.
What can we do to resolve this issue?

I already switched back to version 2.3.5. It’s functioning perfectly again. How can we tell boxy studio that there is a bug in it’s updated version of booked?

Does this theme not support SVG for the site logo?
WordPress doesn’t natively support SVG at this time and as such, the standard header does not support SVG either. Other formats such as JPG, PNG, GIF should work without issue though.
We actually have a big update coming soon for Entrepreneur which will include a new Header/Footer builder and SVG support among many other additions.
However if you want to use an SVG logo or make a more custom header immediately, there is a free plugin we support which is outlined here: https://themovation.helpscoutdocs.com/article/295-adding-a-custom-header-and-footer-in-elementor

Hi, are you referring to the live theme demo, or on your site?
The booking system is working well. Everything looks good to me on our live demo, and the booking system is fully self-hosted, meaning it doesn’t depend on the plugin server or our server – it all runs on your hosting account. If there is an issue, it would be due to your hosting/server configuration.
If you contact your web host they should be able to provide more information on what the error is and how it can be resolved.

I’d like to install this theme on my XAMPP localhost in order to explore the demo material. However, I believe the contents of the one demo are licensed as one.
So, if I import the demo files to my localhost, then upload to my client server, everything will be fine. Is it still necessary for me to pay for the demo license?

1) Yes the payments component integrates with WooCommerce which supports all major payment gateways, so you can use any one you’d like to accept credit cards.
2) Yes, the booking system is optional. You can also just set up services with a cost and have customers pay without the booking calendar.

You could have a few different calendars or variable pricing on your product to make this work. I’m not sure if it would turn out exactly the way you want it to, but it’s possible in theory.

Hello, I fixed the error by downgrading my php version from 8 to 7.4. I have cleaned up my database and configured the theme. However, I can’t modify the header and footer because they don’t have a model in elementor. Is this normal?

However you did mention that you’re using Elementor Pro – if that is the case, then you can use the Header/Footer build that is built into Pro and it will replace the theme header/footer.

Hi, is it possible to let user complete the booking process without go through WooCommerce? becuase we would like to collect payment and genarate invoice by manually when customer walk-in.
Yes, you could do it a couple ways:
a) You can make the online payment field(s) optional for customers who go through the booking process
b) You can login and create the booking in the admin area so it has the time booked

That setting only applies when a product is not selected. There is separate setting under the WooCommerce tab in the Booked settings.

Hello. I’m having issues with Woocommerce as no tax shows up no matter what options I choose. I did see under the System Status>Templates that their were some overrides from the theme and they were outdated. Could this be causing the problem?

It’s very unlikely that the theme templates are preventing taxes from working or displaying as you like. The note you mentioned in WooCommerce just refers to a difference in version number in the files.

Yes, I’ve tried every option that WooCommerce mentions, but it’s still resulting in $0 tax shown. I figured those template errors weren’t effecting it, but I wasn’t 100% sure. Thx

So, I de-activated WooCommerce Shipping & Tax and TaxJar and it’s working now. Not sure why it wasn’t auto-calculating with TaxJar but maybe there’s a conflict with these plugins. Hopefully it continues to work. Thx

Even when I didn’t have TaxJar, the tax calculations weren’t working after changing all of the tax options within WooCommerce. I’m not sure what happened, but glad it’s finally working. Thx

Yes but we will be seamlessly transitioning soon. Option tree is only used in a very minor role and it’s still a working script.
