Hi there! A customer of mine bought this theme and I’m getting the same error someone got 2y ago when trying to compile Magento (PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’=’ in /app/code/Mageplaza/LayeredNavigation/Model/Layer/Filter/Price.php on line 139). You referred to the suppor tickets, did you manage to find a solution for this? Magento version is 2.2 and in urgent need of an update (that’s why the new theme)

Hello, I don’t see this feature, is it possible for Magento 2 Porto theme use a popup when click on add to cart button fot continue to buy or go to cart like in Porto for magento 1.9? Thanks
Thanks for using Porto,
This option is not available in Magento 2 as it was in Magento 1.9.

Hi! I will buy, but this versions is compatible with Magento 1.9? Because in description is only Magento 2. Sorry my poor english
Thanks for interested in Porto,
Both Magento 1.9.x and Magento 2.x are compatible with Porto. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, so please don’t hesitate to do so.
Regards,
Hello, We are interested in installing this theme on our test shop to evaluate compatibilty with a few crucial add-ons before migrating our old magento shop to a new one. Is that possible?
Thanks for interested in Porto,
Each regular licence entitles you to use the theme on a single store. For multiple stores/domains/subdomains you would need multiple licences.
With a single regular licence you can also install the theme on your test server (for testing purposes), but that version shouldn’t be available to the public.

Hi Porto Team,
That wasn’t quite what I wanted to ask for. I am basically after a free test version, which we can use for max 3 months to test whether theme and apps work together in the way we are hoping for. We wouldn’t be using any support in this time, but are unwilling to pay for the theme when we don’t know whether it’s compatible with some crucial apps (Mirasvit Helpdesk and Wyonmind Estimated Delivery Date specifically) we intend to use.
Unfortunately, there is no trial package version available. Evanto, on the other hand, has a simple refund policy for customers. You can refer to https://cutt.ly/TL4myxD

Hi
When using the pagination on category pages, the page does not scroll up after the next category page loads. As a results you see the bottom section of the new category page. Bad user experience.
Can you please fix it?
You can test it here: https://www.portotheme.com/magento2/porto/demo2_en/categories.html
Thank you
Thanks for using Porto,
This is how the Ajax function of the Mageplaza layerded navigation extension works. You simply need to turn off the Ajax option in the Layered Navigation Extension settings in this case.
To get more support, kindly get in touch with us via the help desk at https://portotheme.com/support.
Regards,
@skydivenow Porto email templates are not compatible with 2.4.4, the easiest fix is to simply rename the templates folder to something like email_issues so it falls back to default emails. path of the folder for templates is app/design/frontend/Smartwave/porto/Magento_Sales/email
A more difficult option would be to fix the templates, for the items to be added the code within the template needs changing from:
{{layout handle=”sales_email_order_items” order=$order area=”frontend”}}
to:
{{layout handle=”sales_email_order_items” order_id=$order_id area=”frontend”}}
But I think there are multiple issues….
Thanks for your suggestion,
This issue has been added to our to-do list for the upcoming release. We will make every effort to resolve all theme issues. Please take the time to notify us if you discover any theme problems. That is greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Since upgrading to 2.4.3-p2 the email templates do not work. The latest theme update files were uploaded to the server and the upgrade commands ran successfully…. however all the invoices going out do so without any customer name at the top (does have billing address) but then does not have an itemised list of the products ordered…
I can’t even reset it via the Magento backend.
Are there additional theme files in an update file somewhere that correct this major issue?
Thanks for using Porto,
You can use the solution suggested by @devantech, or you can contact us via our helpdesk at https://portotheme.com/support to get assistance.
Regards,
is the new version fully compatible with php 8.1? the last requirements system for magento 2.4.4?
Thanks for using Porto,
Yes, it is fully compatible with Magento 2.4.4 and php 8.1
REgards,
Issue with feedback message prompt not displaying when adding items to Wishlist and add to compare list. I tried using 4.0.2. My issue has to deal with when a user clicks the add to Wishlist or add to compare button there is no feedback message that tells the user the item was added to either list. Instead the page refreshes or does nothing. In the previous version of (4.0.1) it would show a message whenever an item is added. (You can check the image attachment or https://imgur.com/a/Rgo8EZS )
https://imgur.com/a/qcyQU8vThis second link is showing a quick video of the issue on a fresh installation of Magento and Porto theme (4.0.2) on localhost. The prompt does not show and the items are not added to the Wishlist under account page. If I go to the compare list page (/catalog/product_compare/) I do see the items I added to the compare list. But as before there is no feedback to the user.
I tried reaching out to support but I get unsuitable solution, like disabling “Enable Ajax”. That just causes every click on the layered navigation to refresh in order to show results, defeating one of the key purpose of the extension. Next I was asked to disable all extension and try again, guess the part where I mentioned I tested on a fresh installation of localhost and porto, was not read. But I did and was still able to replicate the issue. Well at least they didn’t use their favorite phrase “we have tested it out on our end and everything works”. (might regret this)
So I decided to go back to 4.0.1, who knows what other issue is on there, and am seeing there are others looking at the post below.
Thank you for using Porto and taking the time to contribute,
We’ll be working on a new Porto version with bug fixes. We will carefully review your contribution and conduct in-depth research on our theme.

Hello, We downloaded the latest version of the theme from our account, and when we installed it in our Magento 2.4.4 system, It’s giving us errors with mageplaza layered navigation. We have asked mageplaza team and they told us that the module is not of the latest version. In theme, the mageplaza layered navigation is of 4.2.0 which is not compatible with the magento2.4.4 version. The compatible module is 4.2.1. Can you please check the issue from your side and update us?

Hello, I’m using Porto 3.2.3. for Magento 1.
Today, I got the scan report.
They said:
100% VULNERABILITY Smartwave_QuickView
in module:/html/app/code/local/Smartwave/QuickView
Remove or ask vendor for fix.

Do you have the security patch about this issue?
THanks for using Porto,

Is this theme working with php 8.1 and magento 1.9.x? Compatibility with magento is there, I have errors on the theme. Do you think to make the theme compatible with php8.1 also for magento 1.9.x version?
Thanks for using Porto,
Magento 1.9 supports PHP v5.4, 5.5, 5.6 or 7.0. Magento 2.4.4 or above have been released and confirmed to be compatible with PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.
Regards,
Is your support working? I have not received any response. I updated to V4.0.2 but now the ‘Load More’ has stopped working again.
THanks for using Porto,

Thanks, it’s #904
All tickets were deleted after the system crashed a few days ago. Please take the time to re-create the ticket with the necessary information.
Thank you so much!
Ok, created a new ticket #982
Have you received the ticket?
I’m sorry, but I don’t see ticket #982. Please double-check that you created a new ticket at https://portotheme.com/support. I attempted to search for your evanto username but found no results in our helpdesk.
Regards
Yes, I now have 2 tickets. #982 and #904. I have now also change my username to match my evanto username. Please advise whether your support system is working?
Yes, our support system is still up and running. I’m not sure why I can’t find your evanto username in our helpdesk. Maybe because your support period has expired.
