Please don’t send instructions on how to update a theme, my developer is a seasoned pro, there is something wrong with the theme and the sequence in which we are using. We’ve never had this issue updating a theme in 15 years of business. Thank you.

Have you tried updating theme via FTP?

Once you update the theme please navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins and check if you’ve updated all of the plugins included with the theme. It is important to update Edge Core when updating the theme.

Also, you should make sure that the purchase code is registered in theme’s dashboard. Theme options, shorcodes and meta boxes are now disabled if theme purchase code is not registered on live server.

You can set first main color in Edge Options > General (please see screenshot). First Main color won’t affect every element. Some elements (like header, footer, fonts, buttons, etc.) have their individual color settings for customizability reasons.

Please upload your new logo in all fields of Edge Options > Logo https://ratio.qodeinteractive.com/documentation/#edge_options_logo

Also check if you have uploaded a logo an a particular page options as if it is the case it will overwrite the Global options.

The images can be from a single portfolio project only and if you wish to display just one image you can upload only main featured image and leave second and third featured image options empty (please see screenshot).

You can update the WordPress version, since the theme is compatible with 5.8.1 and there has not been any significant changes this will work for sure.

Well, you can either choose our already predefined templates and add your content as it is described here, you do also have an option to build your own Custom layout with help of the page editor. Another thing you can do is to use the Gutenberg in order to edit your portfolio pages, it depends on your wishes.

If you wish to have the style as in the example you provided then you can simply Add New Portfolio, enter the fields that you wish (images and text) and select Portfolio Type to be Portfolio Split Screen. That way you will have the same layout as in the example.
