Hi i have been searching to work out how to add extra icons to the sociasl media section inlistings, but i can not understand some of the instructions. Please could you help me add, Whatsapp, ETSY and Amazon to the top of the list?

Is it really that hard to just tell me how to disable that feature? I am very busy and have no desire to open any more accounts for such a simple thing. How do you disable the expiry? Surely that is not a hard coded feature.
As I explained below if you use paid listings it’s not possible to disable it. If you’re not using paid listing go to wp admn > listings > settings > listing duration > leave that field empty.

You would need to use a booking plugin for that e.g. Wc Bookigns. If you want to allows users to ad their own booking products you also need a vendor plugin.
Hello, 1)Is there a way to limit the range of the date picker? I’m using it for reservations and I’ve noticed that the user can also select a passed date like in 1980? 2)Also in the comment section, how come a user can rate and comment his own listing? Please adapt the Mylisting theme to the requirements of the EU law called Omnibus. If you don’t know what’s going on, let me remind you that each offer must contain information about who added it. Company or private person. If a company, all registration details of that company must be provided. Currently, Mylisting is against this law. I read the comments from 2 months ago and you can see that people have already touched on this topic. Do the authors of the theme have a problem with that?
How does displaying distance work? I don’t see it in the documentation.

Hi,
Listing types > edit listing type > preview card > head buttons > add button > press @ > select the “Calculate distance” option. Now when you search by location on explore page it will show the distance of the listing from the location searched. It also shows the distance for similar listings if you set the order of them by proximity.

If you use paid listings that’s not available. You can however add a really large number in the duration field for each package.

Is there a way not to display the listing stats to the owners users that doesn’t have a paid listing package, since with the free package option they can still access and see the stats, and have this feature as a paid option Thanks

That’s not available unfortunately.
There is an issue. Under search forms in proximity tab I have selected “Miles” as distance unit. It displays distance as miles on preview cards. Under similar listings, proximity can only be in kilometres, not miles. So when people search for listings using their location, it shows distance in miles on preview cards, but under similar listings it shows distance in kilometres. Can you add the option to display proximity in miles as well under the similar listings? Thanks

I have two questions:
1) Is it possible to create pre-loaded selections for listing titles for users to select when adding a new listing, rather than allowing free form typing?
2). If question 1 is possible, is it also possible to limit that selection to only 1 choice and not allow multiple inputs?
Example: I want to list a new car which is a Mercedes. I click “Add Listing” and then when I click Title in the listing form a selection dropdown shows all the different car brands, and can then select Mercedes, but I can’t select more options. I cannot select both mercedes and BMW

That can’t be done for the title field. You can add a custom taxonomy field where users can choose the car brand. You can limit that to select only one.
Ok thank you for the reply, is it possible to remove the title field and substitute it for a custom taxonomy field? Or is the title field permanent on the theme?
No the title field is the only field that can’t be removed or replaced for a listing. You would need to edit theme files to achieve what you want.
For anyone doing the latest update, make sure to go to Theme Tools – Performance – Data Updates, then run both “Migrate Listing Location” and “Migrate Work Hours” and don’t forget to re-generate the preview cards after that. If you don’t do this, it will cause a lot of issues with the location search and opening hours etc.

I installed Wordfence in a website that uses MyListing and don’t see any issues. It might be a conflict with one of your other plugins. Try deactivating all your plugins and leave just Wordfence active and se if it works.
where can we change the “buy package” button text within the add listing flow?

You would have to use Loco Translate plugin to edit that text.
Tried, didnt work
Make sure the translation language in Loco Translate is the same as the language you’ve set in “wp admin > settings > general > site language”.
The default is English, we are simply trying to change the text to Select Package instead of it being Buy Package, since one of the listing options is a free listing. The loco translation plugin is not helpful 
Loco Translate can be used for this purpose as well. It’s a light plugin and you can use to change text in your site that can’t be changed otherwise.

Does the theme support Google reCAPTCHA v3 now?
Hi guys can you tell me what some of your plans are for the theme? I am thinking about renewing support to resolve some bugs but I want to know the theme has a roadmap and distinction. It doesn’t look like it’s updated much since you took over the theme.

MyListing didn’t change authorship, we’re the same team that released it in 2017. We don’t have a roadmap right now but we will release one soon. A new update is coming in the next few hours.
