WordPress will work with latest version
PHP will work with up to version 8.0
MySQL generally will work with any version
This theme is brilliant but not had an update in years! Woocommerce is now having issues in the fact the included builder is now a security concern. Needs an update this year.

I used the musicflex demo importer and everything worked fine. I have updated pages with our own data. I notice, however, when I load the home page, I see the Musicflex logo flash across the screen as the page loads. www.cranstondean.com How can I remove this.

To remove the loader, log in to the Dashboard and go to Theme Options > General > Page Loader, and select OFF. Then, Save changes, and you’re all set.

Very good design, very adaptable, for music it is great. But recently the WPBakery Page Builder editor asks to upgrade to a paid version, you should check it out!

No such thing has come to our attention. The version that comes with the theme will never ask you to upgrade to a paid version unless you are looking to activate features like the Template library.
In any other case, you can continue using it for free. The only “limitation” is you need to wait for the next theme update for updating to the latest version of the builder. Yet, the theme has been updated regularly, and if you update the theme you should be having installed the latest or at least the previous stable version of WP Bakery Page Builder on your installation.

Where do you actually add music or is it all links?

You can add your full tracks or samples directly on your site. You only need to upload the track like any other file to the Media Library of WordPress. To save bandwidth, we recommend using a compressed format like MP3. After adding the tracks, copy the address of each file. Then, go to Dashboard > Releases and edit a release. Then, go to Page Options. On the Content Basics tab look for the Track List section. You can add a new track and configure its settings at this location. On the Preview Track URL, you can add the address of the track. Not that, you can also use external URLs on the field.
Why don’t releases show track info and links when using PHP8.0, but it works fine with PHP7.4?

the problem is with font library “Font Awesome 4.7.0” i try to desactivate all plugins and reset the options but appear the same problem … in muy local, in the section advanced->icon library appear the library, but in the server page, it dosen’t

Hello. Does this theme enable updates for the WPBakery Page Builder plugin?
Hello and thank you for your interest in our theme.
WPBakery Page Builder is included with the theme package. Every time we release a new theme version we provide you with the latest available version of the plugin.
The reason is, we have created special styles and functions for WPBakery Page Builder that we need to inspect and validate every time a new version becomes available.
Hence, updating the theme via the Plugins section of the Dashboard is not by default activated. If you need to update it manually, you need to get a separate license from WPBakery and enable the plugin update method.
This way you can work together with WPBakery on resolving any compatibility issues. However, we don’t recommend going in this direction.
The included version not only is safe and full-featured but is guaranteed to work out of the box with the theme. For any issues you may come across while working with the plugin, we can help you to sort them out and continue with your project. And, you don’t need to spend more money (unless you need some of the advanced features the Premium version of the Page Builder might offer).

To import a demo go to Dashboard > Tools > Musicflex Demo Importer and you should be able to review and import any of the available demos. Depending on the demo you choose, you may need to add and activate a few more plugins.

I have recently purchased this item and am highly disappointed. It is impossible to replace the background image since WPBakery does not work for the Header, I have designed almost everything and the image of the drummer is still stuck there, and the support indicates me but the problem is not solved. I do the right thing but nothing, I would like to return the product and receive my refund. I have designed other websites and I have never reneged so much.

While our conversation at the support desk remains unfinished, you’re posting this message in the public forum. You are definitely entitled to request a refund like any customer and we encourage you to proceed to apply for one.
Nevertheless, we believe you haven’t given the time to resolve the issue. Having designed other sites should have taught you that there is no “easy solution” to the problems. WordPress is an open platform in which everyone can create a unique configuration, hence, every site can have different types of issues.
Additionally, our response was immediate. Your original request was on Saturday 22.21 and you received our first response in about one and a half hours on the same day (evening to be exact). The discussion continued the next day. We are sorry for not being able to respond earlier today, we are trying to serve multiple requests at the same time. Moreover, the official response time is between 1 to 2 working days. That means you’d have expected our first response this morning or even tomorrow.
We strongly recommend allowing to finish the conversation at our support desk and we assure you we’ll find the solution to your problem, even if it’s not related to our theme. After all, you have spent so much time creating your site, you don’t need to waste it on a problem that one way or another, can easily be resolved.
Ok, I understand that they do their best to solve it, but I searched for so many possibilities, disabling plugins, and I did everything possible and the frustration prevailed, it seems that it will be impossible to solve, but I highlight your quick answers, but for a moment I feel that has no solution. WPBakery doesn’t let you edit that area and it’s impossible to customize. When one acquires a theme does not suppose this type of errors that do not let continue. They have already found the problem and the solution, it was not as they were indicating to me in the support, the image had to be changed from another side and it has already been solved. I just gave the support people admin access and they managed to fix the error. Grateful.
