Hi,

I’m looking to purchase this theme but i see a menu issue on the demos.

When you resize your browser down so that the hamburger shows (happens on all browsers edge/chrome/firefox) then no main navigation menu will show when you click the hamburger, only the currency and language show – on mobile it’s fine and shows the mobile menu as it should

on the main, classic demo

We think it is not a bug because we are enabling “mobile menu” with different contents from Desktop version (don’t use Desktop data). If resizing screen without loading on real devices, the ajax code may not respond well if you don’t reload page.

no it doesn’t work on a page reload – check it on your own demo, refreshing the page doesn’t give the menu

Yes, you can use it normally, but you need an app to support you as the instruction from shopify. Shopify has a free app which our theme recommends it

After purchasing can the theme be used on more than one store?

Our theme is one license one domain.

If you purchase 1 license of Ella for your site, and in the future if you are still continue to use Ella for the second store, the third store… you will need to buy the corresponding licenses (each store will have each of different theme license. If you have 3 stores, you will need to purchase 3 Ella themes).

Hi, I wanted to find out whether:

1) the theme allows me to create unique meta fields for each product. For example, I have some products that are lingerie and some that are say adult toys. Naturally, lingerie will have different meta fields to adult toys. For example, lingerie would have meta fields such as fabric type and adult toys would have meta fields such as power supply (i.e. batteries);

2) Is it possible to create a filter to filter products by meta fields?

3) When will the lingerie theme be ready? Ideally, I would like to use it.

1/ If your store is using Ella 5.1 or less and want to use Ella 6.0 or higher, you need to build your website again as using a new theme. We spent 1 year to build Ella 6.0, everything is built from scratch so hope you can understand for our difficulty and set up Ella 6.0 for your store.

Thank you so much for your interest in our theme.

For the updating theme when theme release any updates, if you only use theme layouts, you can update and keep the same settings from the old theme source without doing again by copy theme file. Here is instruction for updating theme: https://halosoft.gitbook.io/ella-documentation/installation/update-theme

But if you do custom codes for customization works, you will need to copy the codes you have done to the newest theme source.

There is a bug in the theme. When I scan your theme with Screaming Frog, I get multiple canonical errors. Please give an answer to this. I can’t open a support request. Since I don’t have time, I couldn’t find a channel to reach you. How can I solve this problem?

Yes, you can save the images from demo Pet to use for your site, theme will not include demo images in the package but you can download from our demo because we are using from Freepik with our license :)

We would like to move our website to Shopify and we like your theme. All the photos of our products have a square format. In the demos in category pages the product previews are portrait format. Is it possible to set them in square format? Otherwise we have to rework all the photos and it’s a huge job. Thanks in advance

I m almost done setting up my store with Ella, all of the sudden I cannot add new blocks or sections. It gives me this error message:

“THEME SECTIONS Something went wrong. Try clicking Add section again. APPS No app blocks found The app block you’re searching for may not be available on this template. Learn more”.

Please find a way to fix this issue for me. Let me know what’s wrong with the theme and the steps to fix with your support.

Yes. When you change new template, only lose customization, however, your products, categories and applications are remain. Don’t worry about this.
