We would like to move our website to Shopify and we like your theme. All the photos of our products have a square format. In the demos in category pages the product previews are portrait format. Is it possible to set them in square format? Otherwise we have to rework all the photos and it’s a huge job. Thanks in advance

I m almost done setting up my store with Ella, all of the sudden I cannot add new blocks or sections. It gives me this error message:
“THEME SECTIONS Something went wrong. Try clicking Add section again. APPS No app blocks found The app block you’re searching for may not be available on this template. Learn more”.
Please find a way to fix this issue for me. Let me know what’s wrong with the theme and the steps to fix with your support.

When you would like to change your current template to a new template, all your customization/ modification will lose, you have to rebuild your website again
Because every template will have completely different code structures and everything is built from scratch so hope you can understand this.

Thanks for the reply. I was responding to comments in this theme when the new version came out. I’d like to take this version live but not if there are issues not worked out or a multitude of improvements coming. Upgrading is not easy now and takes hours of new work. I’d like to do it only once.

I’m attempting to match current site settings now and seems many of the header, mega menu and footer options are gone. I thought there used to be 3-4 header, footer and menu choices. I may have missed something in the settings since everything has moved.

You asked that I create a ticket for my questions about setting up 6.3 to match my old store 5.1. I am not finding the previous options for setting up headers, footers and menu. In other words, the Ella theme version 6.0 was built from the Dawn theme with completely different code structures and compatible with Shopify 2.0. We are not able to match the Ella version 6.0 with Ella version 5.0.
When you wanna upgrade your current theme to newest version, you have to rebuild your website as using a new theme as well as we spent 1 year to build Ella 6.0, everything is built from scratch so hope you can understand for our difficulty and set up Ella 6.0 for your store.

We are not seeing the same screenshots for the 6.3 install. In fact, the usual place to change header setups is not the same. I am assuming its the same for footer. Where do you go to choose the format like in 5.1?
Have you limited header and footer options in 6? I dont see same options we had in Ella 5.
Hi, if I renew support will you be able to help me install the updates and also get the header fixed? The logo won’t change sizes in the header 1 setting and the header 2 setting doesn’t allow full width so the navigation menu has to be much shorter. Will your support help fix this?

There are several factors impact your online store speed, including the following:
- Apps
- Third-party libraries and services
- Analytic libraries
- Theme code
- The number and size of images and videos
