Hello, I forgot that it could be done like this. Usually, after copying files with ftp, as soon as I logged in, it signaled lucille plugin update. But this time he didn’t report it. So I used the standard plugin installer getting the file to install lucille/plugins.
I checked. From Appearance – Install Lucille Plugins – doesn’t list any plugins other than WPBakery that I uninstalled.

Hi! After my last PHP-upgrade, all of my headlines have changed into programming language. Pictures have disappeared and features such as automatically updated upcoming shows on the start page are also only visible as code right now. Even worse, the “add event” option has disappeared from the dashboard menu, so even I am to rebuild the entire page, one of the single most useful tools to me seems to not exist any more. Of course, I’ve done something wrong when updating the PHP, so I don’t blame anyone but myself, but how can I get these features back? I have a backup of the webpage from May, but it seems the problem is something else.
Ok, sorry for the trouble, I solved the events problem. Obviously a new plugin was needed.

The problem right now is: when I add an event, the event itself will show in the list of upcoming events, but clicking it, I will come to a page with a “404 – page not found” message. Same when I go to edit the event. Each new event has got a designated unique https address, but clicking “preview changes” will bring me to the same “404 – page not found” message.
Hi, please go to Settings – Permalinks and click on Save. This will refresh your permalinks database. Let me know if this fixes the issue.

I noticed the social media icons in the top bar are overlapping the navigation on a laptop sided screen and are not formatted nicely on an horizontal iPad screen. Can you fix that? I have 4 social media icons.
Hi, can you please share the URL? When there is a big number of social media networks in the menu area, they might overlap the menu because there is not enough space for both. In this case, you can use the recent theme option we introduced, to hide the social icons under a generic social icon, that will toggle the rest of the icons on mouse click. Please try that and let me know how it works for you.

I found php file where to make the change, but if an update arrives it overwrites. Is it possible to insert a choice ?. Better still being able to choose which field to put in the various columns.
I did the edit for testing and it works, but the Elementor widget lists “standard” location+venue as uneditable.

Yes, you can change the order of the sections. You can do this either by drag & drop each section to a new position, or easily using Elementor Navigator. Regarding the demo: you need to purchase the theme to be able to install it and to clone one of the existing demos.

Row stretch is set by default but the row does not fill the whole screen, as before.
Most probably, you have changed by mistake the page template. Please edit your page (default wp editor) and change the page template (right side of the edit screen) to Elementor Template For Lucille Theme. Let me know how it works.

You need to recreate the same page using Elementor, it is not necessarily to edit the same page, you can create a new one and reproduce the same layout using Elementor and our custom widgets.
I created a local instance with your new demo and saw the “home Elementor”. I have to learn it but it’s not hard. Another question: is it possible to have “Lucille Section Heading” either Black or White independent of the default? Hi, with Elementor you don’t need to use a predefined color scheme, since you can change the colors from the widget itself. Can you please check that?
Hi Alex, I found the option “Add a custom color scheme that will overwrite the option in Appearance – Lucille Settings – General. This is an option added by Lucille theme” convenient on WPbakery. So everything remained with the default colors. I don’t find the same ease on Elementor.
Hi, this is a WPBakery row custom option. But you don’t need that for our Elementor widgets, because each layout element we’ve created can be customized in terms of colors and typography used. Please check that and let me know.

For some reason suddenly the revolution slider doesn’t show pictures on some of the slides on a phone and the preview looks fine in revolution slider itself. Is there a bug?

Hi, the generic icon is used to show the social icons in mobile menu. Because of the screen size, when having a big number of social profiles, the icons would not fit in the menu. That is why we added that generic icon that allows you to toggle the icons in mobile view. If you don’t want the new icon in menu, I can introduce a new option for the next update to hide it. Let me know if something is not clear or you have more questions.
Ok I understand that but the icon doesn’t open/work. I tried on diferent browsers and nothing. I think we don’t need a option to hide the icon as long as it work. But i’m afraid thats not the case here. Did you try this on deferent mobile browsers? Thanks

Can you guys add 20 pixel padding left and right to the mobile layout of a row layout? Every time I create a new page with the visual composer template the text goes right to the edge on mobile. Takes so much time to put padding in manually.
Hi, I strongly recommend to switch to Elementor as your main page builder solution. It is easier to use and all the Elementor widgets we’ve created are more flexible in terms of options than the ones created for WPBakery.
The gallery page doesn’t show the featured image of a photo album. How do I get the image to show behind the album title?
The section that contains the album title can be filled with a custom image from the Header Settings meta box. Just edit your photo album and assign an image using the custom meta box under the content area.
Sorry, only just got around to having a look at this. I’m not actually talking about the header but the image that should show behind the photo album title on the main gallery page. it looks like a caching plugin is changing the URL to the background image for the gallery item. The new URL is invalid. Can you please check that?

The button is on the left, under the album cover https://dev.wasserfuhr-jazz.com/js_albums/mosaic/I understand now, the string is not in the discography page, but in single album. The “Buy Now” button is part of the theme translation file. Please double check if the compiled translation file file Lucille theme is placed at the correct location. Based on your location and language, the file should be placed at the following location, relative to the installation path of your WordPress: /wp-content/languages/lucille/de_DE.mo

As far as I know, the discography page does not show the “Shop Now” button. Can you please double check this?
In discography I can link the album with a product in woocommerce and after this it displayed a “buy now” button. That works fine. But not in the start page “featured album” area.
