On January 1st, 2020, we deprecated Jarida theme, We’re now ready to shut it down completely, Next month Jarida theme will be removed from ThemeForest and it will not be available to download anymore.

Hello, I know that you are recommending to remove Jarida and use Jannah, but in the meanwhile I have 1 issue and 1 question.
We are facing a viewing issue, when we publish a post, only the publisher can see it or the visitors who has the link. Is there a way to fix it in the meantime?
If we switch to Jannah, we should re-do all the configuration from scratch?

I just wanted to add my 2 cents. I somewhat agree with showsarg’s comments. You ask people to migrate to your Jannah theme. Well, I understand, business changes all the time. But you should at least offer some discount to your long-time Jarida theme owners. Otherwise you are basically just hijacking their trust. What guarantee do they have that in a few years you won’t do that again with the other theme of yours? Think on that.

Unfotnutly, Envato doesn’t provide us with a system to give discount codes. the only way is to make a public sale.

You recommend switching to the other template because you are discontinuing this one. I want to imagine that switching to the other template, since I already paid for this one, implies a free download to make the template change. Otherwise, this is being a scam since I paid for it and I will not receive updates and you are asking me to reinvest and believe in you on the new template when you are discontinuing the one I chose and trusted you with when I paid for it. Otherwise I ask for my refund.

I will not be eligible for the refund, but I will do everything I can in the groups to report people like you who cheat by creating templates and then canceling them, to get paid again and earn the difference, and I will do the same with evatos to warn of this kind of theft. Because it is literally stealing. Keep your money and the template, thieves. And besides denounce them to you …. so that nobody buys from them.

So after i moved back to PHP 7.4 and wordpress 5.3 and tryed to install demo data again there was another problem
>> Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /wp-content/themes/jarida/panel/importer/tie-importer.php:163
I fixed this problem by chaging file source code
>> /wp-content/themes/jarida/panel/importer/tie-importer.php at line 114
removing this code
>> update_option(‘sidebars_widgets’, ’’);
with this code
>> update_option(‘sidebars_widgets’, array());
After that widgets demo data was installed correctly.

love love love this theme and have been using it for 7+ years. I need a 3 column theme. tried to switch to jannah, but no luck. Please consider a 3 column theme similar to jarida.

Jarida theme is retired 2 years ago, so it is recommended to switch to another theme, Yes you can create the same layout with Jannah except the 3 columns layout ( 2 sidebars ), Jannah only supports 2 columns ( 1 sidebar )
