When upgrading my theme i was suprised and really disapointed to see that all my french translations in loco translate are not available anymore. in my child theme which is supposed to not be modified or deleted when upgrading. I can even see the language anymore !!!

Where did you save the translation file? In Loco Translate plugin you need to choose a folder outside of the theme folder (e.g. languages/loco/themes). All files in the folder of the theme are replaced when you update the theme, it’s how WordPress works.
I was thinking that choosing My listing Child when translating that all my trnaslates would be stored in mylisting child directory ! So it is not think in this way ? So what the point to chosse between mylting or mylisting child when translmating if when updating theme it is the same way ?
Child theme is used to modify theme files and not lose those modifications on theme updates.
When you create a new translation file you have the option to choose where you want to save the translation file, that’s how the plugin works. It’s not something specific to MyListing.
Anyway check with your host they might have a backup of you site and you can recover the translation files.

Hi, one question… Do paid listings also have priorities or only promoted listings? What I want is for the user to be able to purchase their paid listings or membership and then be able to feature based on priority, or for the membership to already include this priority

For each package you can also enable “Feature listings”. When users create a listing with that package it will automatically be marked as featured. In search results normal listings will have a priority of 0, featured listings have a priority of 1 and promoted listings have a priority of 2.

You can make listings featured automatically but not promoted. You can promote listings after you’ve added them by purchasing a promotion package.
