Thanks for the latest theme update! I’ve almost finished redesigning my webmemo.ch blog based on your theme. I will want to do that with yet two other blogs, therefore I wanted to pay you extra 
- Paragraph spacing and captions now work just fine. Due to the dotted background (which I like) I find the italic font hard to read, though.
- The ‘latest posts’ widget would look nicer if it had the small icons in front of the post titles.
- Is it possible to set different header images for the different responsive formats?
- When it comes to embedding video, is FitsVid or Responsive Video Embeds the best plugin or will you provide the necessary JavaScript in a next theme version since it’s said to be very small?
- A post’s date is ‘only’ visible on the homepage. Should it not also be available on the actual post (single post)?
- How about adding LinkedIn and Pinterest to an author’s profile? Or come up with a generic solution to add other social networks? I.e. fields for social network name, target url and icon url? And then it’s up to a (power) user to find the appropriate information.

Glad you like it, keep in mind that according to TF license agreement, one purchase is valid for one site only, you have to buy multiple licenses for being able to use it on other blogs (or the extended license for unlimited usage).
That said let’s jump to your questions:
1. This is easily customizable with some little css. The class you want to edit is ’.wp-caption .wp-caption-text’
2. I don’t get it, icons representing what? Please make sure you are using the Minimosity – Recent Posts custom widget and not the default Wordpress one, which already features thumbnails display.
3 . It would be possible but you need to know a little coding, that goes way beyond regular support though.
4. I’m using FitVids for my next project and it works just great. I will consider including it also in Minimosity next updates.
5. Actually is also visible on the post page, under the post title.
6. I will look into this, thanks for the suggestion.

Currently there is no custom widget allowing that, although you can easily achieve that via plugins (i.e. Contact form 7).

I have tried loading widgets in the default sidebar and I created my own sidebar, but neither of these options is displaying my sidebar widgets as a sidebar. They’re all the way at the bottom. In Widgets, I’ve tried the Main Content 2 Col and the 1 Col. Neither have given me a sidebar area.
The slider isn’t working either. I have marked my posts as “Set Featured” and each post has a featured image.
I even imported the demo and that didn’t help. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated!!

Probably something went wrong when you uploaded/installed the theme, lots of files are missing from what can I see (content-sidebar.css above all) that is why your website do not look how it should.

You do not understand my intention. I’ve installed theme on WordPress English and appeared the same problems! a fixed background and tools buttons in left not found, and failed to import xml file fully.
You’re right I cannot understand. What do you mean by a fixed button and tools button in left not found? Maybe a screenshot would help.

I have problems in Theme, some elements not found, like button to change a fixed background and change header colors and I can’t import XML file, can you to provide tutorial video to installing theme.
Installing Minimosity Theme is just like any other theme, I suggest to familiarize with WordPress in general first, there are tons of tutorials online. This is support for specific theme related issues, what I can do is to have a look at your wordpress admin if you private message me with your login details, and see if there’s anything wrong. Thanks

Fortunately you posted a screenshot, or I could never imagine it to be so! Those tools are meant to be in the live demo only, they allow the user to see how the website would look with different color schemes and backgrounds, once you buy it you don’t need that, since you have much more customization powers through your admin panel in the Theme Options > Layout and Style tab!
OK, thanks for explain this thing. but I have a problem in importing XML file it’s appears (Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in C:\AppServ\www\wp\wp-includes\class-http.php on line 1154)
I think that is depending on your localhost install not to the xml or the theme itself. You should try to upload your wp install to some server and see if the problem persist.

Ok, to set up a full background image you need to upload an image through Theme Options > Layout and Style > Full Page Background
To set up a pattern instead (demo-like) upload your pattern image Theme Options > Layout and Style > Set a Background color or Pattern
Hope that’s what you meant…if not please try to explain more in details.

Inside the upload folder, there is a zip file containing the theme package named Minimosity_1.2.2_Theme.zip, that’s the file you need to upload and install in your wordpress admin.

1. Please make sure you don’t have an empty gallery or review showcase on your homepage.
2. Fonts and colors can be changed in the Theme Options > Typography tab, otherwise if you wish to keep everything as it is and only change the color paste this in the Advanced > Custom CSS test area

Just bought your Minimosity theme, and configuring,
I like it! 
But I’ve a little problem with it.
Configuring Twitter widget on side bar is not working.
I set the Twitter ID, then the tweets are visible. It’s OK, but..
When I click on the `Follow us` link, then it would open a link
with the Twitter ID URL and not with the Username.
Therefore URL is not valid, opening the wrong one..
Can you fix it?

That is weird, you should only enter your userID in the Latest Tweets widget, for example in the live demo I entered ‘envato’ and the ‘Follow Us’ button points to https://twitter.com/envato, which is a valid link.
If you have no success by setting it please post or pvt me a link so I can have a look.

1. Minimosity is suitable for any kind of blog or online magazine.
2. Minimosity comes with a light and a dark main styles which you can combine with unlimited skin colors.
3. If you have a basic Wordpress knowledge it’s pretty straight forward, you have an extensive option panel to set up most of the features.
4. I suggest to test the live demo yourself and make your own conclusions
5. Check out the changelog at the bottom of the item description to see the amount of updates Minimosity already had since its release. Updates will keep on coming.

Hi,
I bought the theme a week ago and I’m having some issues with:
- Featured slider when small size with Internet Explorer: With every other browser it looks right. But with IE it shows full width. Any ideas?
- Centering multimedia elements: When I try to display a gallery/video and try to center align it, it goes always to the left. But the text get positioned right.
- Displaying Showcase gallery: I also bought the showcase gallery plugin. When add the gallery shortcode [showcase …] it finds there’s something but doesn’t show pictures. (In others templates does work)
- Lightbox pictures downscaled: Don’t know why but the pictures are downscaled to almost thumbnail size when opened in lightbox.

1 & 2. Please download and install Minimosity v1.2.2
3. I don’t know about this plug-in neither how it works so it’s pretty hard for me to tell you what’s wrong with it.
4. The ‘lightbox’ itself dooes not edit pictures in any way, it just links to the original pic. I guess you are not importing the full-size image in your posts but a cropped version.

Hi, I have purchased the Minimosity theme and installed it just fine, except the social widget is showing zero followers despite linking to the correct profile when i click the icon?
I’ve tried it with several twitter accounts and it always shows zero?
is there a fix for this?

I’ll check if twitter has changed his api for the millionth time this year and if so I’ll provide a fix asap. In the meantime I suggest using the ‘default’ text field to manually insert your followers number.

To import demo content follow this steps:
- In Wordpress admin move to Tools > Import
- Select WordPress
- If it asks to install a plug-in, do it
- The importer asks for an xml file that is placed in the Help folder > demo xml > minimosity_demo_content.xml (related to the TF downloaded zip)
- Click upload file and import

However, there is one more issue i need you support. I found that the preview photo is not working, both in gallery and blog post. When I click on the photo (or thumbnail) it keep loading the photo. I’m not sure what’s wrong. Do you have any clue?

When you insert the gallery, right after uploading the images, you need to select the ‘Image file’ radio button in the default Wordpress media uploader.
