Thank you for your answer. I have more questions about centered title which is on brankic shortcodes. I would like to put the centered title above slideshow in main page When I put the title the title is at the bottom of the slideshow now.

for that, you have to use Custom Fields (below the editor) instead of shortcode.
Hide title from the begining of this page – YES
Centered title at the top of the page – Title you want to be centered

2) / 3) Appearance -> Editor slider.inc.php (near the end of the file) is where you can change slider settings…

I only want to use 3 icon boxes on the home screen under the slider. Is there a way to center these. Currently when I remove an icon box they are aligned to the right.

I really like the BigBang theme especially the “recent work” short cuts on the Home page. Because I’m new with Wordpress I installed the Demo content but my favorite part “recent work” did not show up… I followed the help file step by step except for this part that I really don’t understand:
Portfolio pages are using ID of portfolio category. IDs inserted via shortode may not be the same like on your server, so you have to insert shortcode for portfolio again, or t get ID of portfolio category and do it directly in the editor.
Is this why it doesn’t work for me?

if you have portfolio items, in your dashboard, use portfolio shortcode and choose Parent portfolio category from the drop down list in pop-up window

1. Sorry, but no videos in our sliders…
2. You can add as much as you want text.
3. There’s Extra CSS field in admin panel, so I could tell you the code for changing background color.

there is no full width page template, sorry.
For background you can have tiled image or stretched (what you can see if you open Style panel on the left hand side of our life preview)

I seem to be having problems with <!–nextpage–> tag to split long articles into seperate pages. I’m on IOS 5.1.1. It just seems to cut the article short.
Also I’ve decided the text is too small on my iPad 2 I’d like to increase the size but using Diet Coda and finding the CSS in your theme it has no effect on normal pages body text?

Is there a way when you click to zoom an an image in the slider on a portfolio page, that it can show a different image? I am trying to show a cropped view of a building in the slider, but when clicked, show a very wide landscape pic showing all of the building (a different jpg). I tried adjusting the link in the featured extra image but it didn’t work.

I’m getting social network icons come up at the bottom of my posts which link to a previous version of my site and i can’t figure out for the life of me where they are coming from? I’ve been through all my plugins and can’t find any existing settings from deleted plug ins.
If you see an article on my site there is two rows of social network icons, the top row are working and correct, the lower set are incorrect.
If i give you the log in details to my account can you please try and help me find where they are coming from? I’d very very grateful!

Hi, on a Blog Post, setting up extra images, is there a way to make them smaller? I am using very tall sizes images, and they come out huge. I have tried resizing the images and readding them, but they still come out huge so I am assuming it’s something with the coding. I am guessing it’s because it stretches them the whole width of the page, which makes images taller than a typical portrait size huge. Any tips? Thanks.

you’re right about formatting slider images. Tall images aren’t handy for any type of slider (we have twin slides option on portfolio slider, but not on other ones)
Only advice I can give you is to use landscape oriented images, or to join 2 tall images into one double image (so you’ll get landscape image with 2 tall ones next to each other) and use this kind of images for slider.
I hope that makes sense…
It makes sense, but it’s unfortunately not a user friendly method for my client as far as doing her own updates. The slider is so easy to update for someone with limited computer skills, so it’s too bad it can’t be adjusted, but I understand why it can’t. It would be great is there was some way to set the width as a %. That would be enough to make the taller images on the site I am working with be a more manageable size. Thanks.

We’re having some trouble with your portfolio. How can we create a portfolio of portfolio items?
For exam, we design homes and want to have the MAIN portfolio page display hexagons with a featured image from a home. When the user clicks on that hexagon, we need to then take them to ANOTHER portfolio page that displays a filterable grid of the pictures from that home. The user can then click on any picture to view that pic and comment.
